hey everyone, I just made a force using character and was hoping to become a Jedi, but I have an open mind. if anyone would be interested in having a Master/Padawan relationship please let me know.

Well if you want to be a jedi it really comes down to what flavor of jedi would you like to be? There is the big convocation thread detailing and addressing this thing so hopefully we'll get some good representation for the sects.

honestly, it would really matter. I didn't have much foreword thought on the character's future beyond wanting him trained in the force. I wanted to let the character grow naturally through interaction with other players.

Alright then lets see if I can break it down well enough.

There is

The jedi order: works with and protects the Republic
The Silver jedi order: Works independently and away from the chaotic politics.
The jedi covenant: New group under the protectorate
The Laventines: Very good group with some good people but they are very private and don't advertize all the time
There is some mandalorian force users of former jedi.... kind of

I really wouldn't mind doing my apprenticeship under any of those factions. or even with an independent instructor. I was really hoping to just fall in line and just RP with anyone that needed an apprentice. although now I'm thinking with my being so new here it might take awhile for anyone to actually want to play with my character.

I mean if I was forced to choose blaster to my head, I would say the silver jedi sound most appealing but I think my own bias is having me lean that way from past Jedi characters Ive constructed.
