In Character Journalists?

Is there any kind of character that runs around the galaxy reporting on whats happening, weither it be invited or interfearing?
Im not doing much with my TJ Omalley side of my profile, so i figured why not make a talking cat like animal that has a camera crew following him around as he gets into peoples business

Tense moments before a large battle breaks out between Jedi and sith, Yelling, explosions and body parts flying everywhere
suddenly a small orange cat appears from nowhere followed by cameras, approaches a sith soldier stabbing a rebel soldier in the neck multiple times 'Sir whats your thoughts on the current state of affairs between the warring governments on this planet' *Extends microphone out to him*

Lydia was covering the First Order's relief efforts at Kaeshana when the Galactic Alliance attacked, leaving her stranded on a foreign planet. She ended up teaming up with some First Order troops (notably, [member="Rolf Amsel"]) who helped her to get offworld (and, you know, not die).
