Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist

She as looking at him and as the drones stopped the jedi master stopped as well. With her attention on the saber where she would be able to see more of it. leaving her own to slip back into her robes sleeve before she was offering a small look at the padawan. "You are learning, one cannot expect to have all of the skills at once, one cannot expect to learn mastery right away. You need to be patient. It took me nearly forty years of training to be like I am now. learning, studying, practicing daily. Doing everything I can so that I will be better and improve instead of just saying I was the best."

"Patience is not a problem for me, Master Ike," he said as one corner of his mouth raised wistfully. "My experience is unfortunately full of circumstances that have required patience."

He leaned back against a lab table behind him, crossing his arms over his chest. He'd caught his breath now, and was taking a moment for peace.

"My problem at the moment is that I don't know what to practice and study in this regard. I'm not sure what aspect of the Force this type of agility flows from."

She was looking at him and stood there, letting the force flow off of herself before she breathed in and then breathed outwards with the force itself. "It flows from enhancement of the self. Your body will be able to use it and altering yourself with the force." She stayed there before the jedi master leaned against the lab station crossing her arms until she was ready for anything that they might be able to do. "I taught or tried to at least teach your master much the same thing but I know how difficult it can be to learn and his confidence is far different compared to many of the others that I have seen."

"How does it work?" he asked, curiosity and passion mixing in his voice. He leaned his head back, considering how better to ask his questions. Many things he did with the Force he did instinctively. It was like moving his arm, he never thought about how to move his arm. He never thought about his nervous system sending messages back and forth, he simply did it. Much with the Force was the same way, but he felt that using it by reflex limited his capacity to learn and to grow. He needed to understand.

"I use the Force to enhance my senses, and to some degree that makes sense. It doesn't add senses, it simply focuses my mind on the stimuli that my senses are already receiving." He crossed his arms over his chest and tilted his head to the side, biting his lip slightly as he tried to understand. "Enhancing my body, however - my strength, my agility, those types of things - that doesn't make sense. The Force can't add muscles or training that I don't have, so what's going on? How does it work? Where to I focus the Force into my body? These are the things I can't wrap my mind around."

She was looking at him and thinking of hoiw to explain it.. to really explain it when it came down to it. She treated it like breathing, you didn't need to understand it for your body to do it. Before you learned it in school and class, before you learned about how your body inhaled oxygen into your lungs and then exchanged it with the CO2. Your body didn't need to know the mechanics of it, it already knew how to do it. "It isn't easy to explain, for strength you are correct youy aren't adding muscles but you can reinforce them, make it so you can hold more, endure more strain. Pair yourself off, for your speed you can pump your legs faster and it all can become natural as breathing."
