If ever there was a time where men showed their foolishness .. it was now. The Prince's stubborn nature preventing him from asking for aid to heal, yes Valkryi men have not changed for centuries, rather allow their limbs to fester and drop off, then ask for help, Aurelio at least bit down on his pride and accepted it, under protest however. She had half a mind not to heal either of them. But this is precisely when woman show their metal, show their superiority over them. Such childish, foolish creature are men.
Aerin focus on Aurelio's shoulder, it was easy to see the affected area, angry red welts covered most of upper shoulder and down his back. She lifted her second hand and placed it on the opposite side of his body and began. The force flowing through her hands directly to the injury. Underneath his skin she knitted the broken vessels to stop internal bleeding. Once that was completed, she concentrated on the rented flesh attaching it back to the bone. He would feel a heat, it would make him feel uncomfortable, but not painful. With the majority of the main damage healed, only rest now would aid him further.
She had heard their words, and she had heard of the Jedi. Having not encountered them she would reserve judgement on them and their promises, however force users are handy in a fight and if they are willing to assist then that would be fair, however, she also knew of their doctrine, would Jedi really help in a civil war? for no other reason then to return a King to his throne? They did not want for power, so why would they help another to it? Her brow knitted not liking this plan at all. But it is his son and in the end up to the Prince.
"My Lord .. I have also learned Clan Firu have been talking to the Mandalorians .. I don't believe anything has come from these talks but I will find out". She looked over Aurelio's shoulder satisfied she had done all she could for him. She picked up the binding and began her work strapping his shoulder.
"Stop moving Aurelio, please".
"The Clan to the South are loyal to your father my Lord, Clan Sabina will stand by you. After you have rested here this night, you will need to leave for the Capital. Begin your plan, go to The Stags Head Inn, just off the market quarters and approach the inn keeper, his name is Red Beard, he is my .. protector. And was my father's right hand man, he will look after you there and provide you with what you require .. use my Inn my Lord as you base, but do not stay long in the capital for fear you will be recognised". Aerin had acquired the Stags Inn for personal purposes.
"I shall return home and ready Clan Sabina, but we must rest. My Lord will you allow me to heal your wounds?", she finally approached the forbidden topic.
"But first I will show Aurelio to his room". She stood up and guided him to her bedroom. She made sure he was comfortable, the fire lit to warm him through the night.
"Aurelio, in the morning we will leave .. we can't stay here even for the hunt. I will make the necessary arrangement in the early morning and then we will travel south". She stopped and regarded him for a moment, a smile moved her face, it was a tired smile as she too felt the fatigue of the evening.
"Good night", she simply said as she placed a soft kiss on his cheek before leaving the room.
If the Prince accepted her offer to heal she would do so, then show him to the other room. Once the Prince was comfortable, Aerin returned to the main room and made her bed on the floor. The morning will bring new light to their tired minds. And they would bid the Prince farewell for now.
