STANDARD FEATURES
  • Quadanium Steel Coat: Surrounding the hull of the vessel is a two meter thick layering of quadanium steel. Designed to absorb the shock and destruction caused by enemy kinetic and missile bombardments.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Bastion Point Defence System (x): The advanced missile and fighter defence system, designed to counter the ordinance and tactics favoured by the First Order's enemies.
  • Mega Class Turbolaser (x): Large tri-barrel turbolasers with the potential firepower to equate to fifty ordinary turbolasers. Despite this, they're cumbersome weapons, and designed for use against other capital vessels, rather than frigates and corvettes.

Strengths:
  • +Bruiser: The Imperial-X II is more than capable of taking damage, and perhaps more importantly, dishing it out.
  • +Dodge This!: Fast tracking mounts have been supplied to the Imperial-X II, to counter faster moving enemy vessels, and even bombers and fighters.
Weaknesses:
  • -Aft Weaponry: Like many of its predecessors, the Imperial-X II is vulnerable to attacks coming from its flank.
  • -Gotta Go Fast!: The Imperial-X II trades speed and manoeuvrability for its offensive and defensive abilities.
DESCRIPTION:
The Imperial-X II Class Star Destroyer is the long awaited refit to the older Imperial-X Class. While the Vanquisher-Class is arguably the earlier, and superior successor, it is the Imperial-X II which largely ensures a further reach than its cousin, with its easier procured materials performing that role.

The Imperial-X II is an assault destroyer first and foremost, designed to be deployed in combat situations, and able to use its extensive arsenal of weaponry to destroy enemies of the First Order. An upgrade to the old Imperial-X is the use of Mega-Class Batteries, designed to tear apart the shields of battlecruisers frequently used by the First Order's enemies, with the addition of proton torpedo launchers and extensive missile batteries designed to hit well above its weight class.

Defensively, the Imperial-X II is a strong contender. Besides from capital grade shields, the Imperial-X II holds a Quadanium Steel Coat, with thick plates made out of reinforced metal alloys designed to defend against kinetic bombardments. Additionally, the Bastion-Class Defence System has been employed with point defence weaponry to create a net, designed to shut down fighter attacks and missile barrages.

However, despite these strengths, the Imperial-X II is a weakling when it comes to speed and manoeuvrability. Rather than being able to perform evasive manoeuvres, and pursue, the Imperial-X II relies on the strength of its defences and weapons in combat situations. In line with earlier designs, assault from the flank are also particularly devastating, if performed properly.

It might not hurt to link the original Imperial-X Class Star Destroyer submission here, just for ease of reference.

As a general note, this looks like we're three ratings too high.

[member="Robogeber"], we're still one rating too high.

To break this down more:

"Very High" armament (+3) and "moderate" defense (+1) gives you 4 ratings above average. To balance this, we currently have "very low" maneuverability (-2) and "low" speed (-1), which gives us 3 ratings below average.
