QUICK GUIDE:
"Most recruits arrive with a ten year plan. Two campaigns later they're just hoping the transport shuttle lands the right way up." - Unknown Field Medic

Mission Statement:

An easy to use, quick guide for those who want to jump into things. Because reading can be boring.

Let's get started:

Creating a character for the Imperial Reclamation Authority starts with deciding what role they serve within the machine of the Empire. Every branch offers different kinds of stories and experiences: Army personnel focus on frontline warfare and occupation campaigns, Navy officers command fleets and logistics, Intelligence operatives manipulate information and political situations, Inquisitors hunt Force-sensitive threats, while government officials navigate the dangerous politics of a growing Imperial state. Start simple—you do not need an overly complex backstory or a legendary reputation to make an engaging character.

Instead, focus on a few core questions. Where did your character come from? Why did they join or remain loyal to the Empire after its collapse? What do they want? What are they good at, and what flaws or weaknesses hold them back? Strong characters are usually driven by ambition, fear, survival, loyalty, ideology, or personal goals rather than raw power alone.

You should also think about how your character interacts with others. Rivalries, friendships, mentorships, political alliances, and personal conflicts are a huge part of the faction's storytelling. Most importantly, don't worry about making the "perfect" character immediately. Characters are expected to grow naturally through roleplay, campaigns, failures, victories, and involvement within the faction over time.
