Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Standard Materials
Description: The IME, or Implanted Medical Examiner, is a modernization of the RSMA Bioscan Unit, first seriously used in early 10's of ABY. It was small enough to fit inside a briefcase and, in less than two seconds, could determine a subject's species, gender, weight, body temperature, muscular index, respiration rate, and even identify foreign objects such as cybernetic implants. The IME seeks to accomplish the same tasks in a much smaller package, being a chip that can implanted into a subject, allowing to gather data more easily from unwilling test subjects. Like the RSMA Bioscan unit of old it can determine many factors, but can also be programmed to track more specific data, such as how well specific organs are functioning, or trace toxins, or how well the nervous system is working etc. However due to obvious space constraints it can't do everything at once. It can handle the base functions or A specialized function at once. Furthermore, as most of the IME's processing power is used for the medical scanning it does not have a large range, only being able to broadcast it's data within a few meters range.
