I'm Freezing Out Here! (Oka Osaa)

"We can destroy the ship after using it. Its a quick get away." Oka said. Then he saw them continuing to walk. He sped up but he felt the intensity of the force again. "Really strong force here.." he mumbled.

"B7, can you scan her for any identification?" He asked. "Beep bloop bop." It replied.

Saki looked at him as she stood there stopping him. "No like I said vest and walk, you want to disobey I'll throw you into orbit. I've already fought a sith's pet worm." She kept walking and pointed towards the vest and case. "Don't let it sink too deep and keep up." Saki started moving while she popped her neck and shoulders, let their scan ids put her as just Saki of the jedi order and one of the few who had been in the Republics fights since Metalorn when she was twelve.

"I'll do as you say for now but these troopers are from my squad" Oka said without hesitation. Seeing the woman's ID, Oka said "master Saki, I must ask. Why are you here, you're not shivering and you didn't seem to care that many of the republic crew died." Oka exclaimed. Oka looked down and saw B7 has left with the others as they started walking down the mountain. "That droid..." he mumbled.

Saki looked at him and kept moving as she spoke. "I am here because fighting takes its toll and a person needs to breathe every now and again." As to why she wasn't shivering well. "As to the rest why would I be cold, even an initiate is taught how to resist the cold and heat." Now she was moving. "Take the case and follow me."

Oka still didn't understand the master jedi's way of the force. The way she talked, the way she mastered her strength, the way she treated him. Should he take the case? He thought. He decided to play nice. He lifted the case up with the force to his hand, but when his force let go he went deep in the snow.

"Bleeeeeeeep bop" B7 laughed. "Real funny B7, if only you could feel the cold." Oka said. Oka's eyes started glowing bright. "Disturbance there is, B7 scan for other life forms" he commanded.

Saki turned her head back to look at the boy lifting the box with the force and she stopped stomping a foot into the ground as the water in the snow rose up and brought the case with the vest higher. "What are you doing?"" She walked over and ran an hand across her shaved head while speaking to the boy. "I said padawan use the vest and bring the box not try and lift with the force." She jabbed with a finger towards his forehead. "Listen to you master and those with more experience then you." Her eyes drifted from him towards the sabers he held and Saki brought them up to her hands as she flexed her muscles with a small grunt. The durlanium giving way under the force enhanced strength. "When you can learn to listen and not rush then I'll tell you to build a new one. Until then much like me your to practice form zero without a lightsaber." Saki moved leading the way as she spoke. "Now put the vest on or I am literally going to throw you into the side of the mountain and make you find me at my ship."

Oka sat down Indian style ready for meditation. He closed his eyes, then thought and thought about his past with his light sabers. Then it hit him, no master will take his light sabers without a better excuse. Oka raised his hand and opened his fingers. One of the sabers the Jedi master took flung into his hand. He opened his eyes and they were glowing. "The power of the light saber doesn't matter compared to the force. But the bond of your crystal does. Learned that from my friend, but he's dead and this is his light saber. You can fight me for it or give my other saber back... master Jedi." He spoke calmly.

Saki looked at him and smirked now as she moved to the case, her hand touching it as it opened up and she grabbed a rod inside. "Alright padawan, you want to make an issue of it. I'll teach you and hen I'll chuck that saber into orbit." Saki held the rod and the case closed as it extended in her hand to the size of a baton. She let the force force in her body and with the muscles tightening as her body went poised ready to strike. Saki jumped up extending the staff fully into a quarter staff and brought it down the heavy beskar would be easily able to block lightsabers. Her force enhanced strength on the levels higher then most droid from the training to punch down blastdoors.

See the strike was coming direct, the apprentice attached the saber to his belt and used the force to get the other saber she had taken. He sat there ready to take the beating. With little time he had left to talk he said "lieutenant, rookie, and B7 get out of here and find the ship at all costs." Oka yelled. They nodded and B7 spun his head around. Oka thought, come on master jedi, show the apprentice what your made of.

Saki came down aimed at his shoulder to dislocate it and end the fight.she spoke standing there and waiting for just a moment. "Belay that, you padawan are foolish and counterproductive. I don't know how you got far enough to build a saber let alone two." Her closed the staff and looked at him while standing there and grabbing the case with her hand and she brought it upp onto her shoulder at an uneven angle and with little effort. "Don't follow, you are not a jedi. A jedi follows orders of the masters above him and respects them, a jedi does not act a fool in public. You have failed to learn the most basic lessons of being a jedi and I see that your path is not here." Saki closed down the staff back into a rod and started walking off into the storm as it kicked up and she worked the shaping energies on the snow to obscure her further.

The lieutenant wasn't listening to their conversation until they stopped.

The commander ordered them to go to the ship but they didn't move.

"Uh sir... I think the Master Jedi outranks us so..." he trailed off.

Griffin waited, then looked around.

The storm is definitely getting closer and stronger, if the Jedi Master is going to spar they better do it quickly. The lieutenant thought to himself.
But then the master walked off... the two troops followed.

"Blasted!" Oka yelled. He stood up and saw the troopers still following that Jedi. "The storm is coming, I hope the soldiers find cover. For now I have to try and fix these sabers, if the force can do that. I'm sorry Lei, I'll do my best to restore our bond." He mumbled. "B7, get that ship repaired where I made the hole, it may be our only cover if the force can't guide us." Oka commanded. Shortly after the command, it was patched to the best possible. Oka boarded the ship hoping to focus the force... its impossible at this point. Its too strong, it can't be controlled. He had lost the only escape out of the planet.

Saki looked back and at the troopers as she set the case down and put on the vest to drag it. "Alright get over here." She motioned them closer and focused on the air to first make a bubble as the snow around her cleared the air losing that chill. Expanding her personal space for them to stand in and snapping her fingers as the air sparked, fire shaping at its finest to bring fire to warm them up while she started walking towards the caves in the distance. "Stay close and you can stay warm."

They walked a bit closer then looked around.

"Uh ma'am what about the commander?" The Lieutenant asked.
They kept following her it was warmer, she was right about that.

The Lieutenant slung his blaster rifle over his shoulder and continued on.

Man was the storm getting bad.

Oka eyes glowed again. "I never have understood this event.." Oka mumbled. Then he remembered earlier, a disturbance. "B7, keep going somewhere safe, I have a duty to do." He said. Oka soluted B7 and jumped into the storm landing in snow. He grabbed a saber, but remembered they were bent badly. Except one, the one that contained the Sharlon crystal. Sitting in the cold snow balancing force, he placed the light saber on the ground and began trying to unbend it. After unbending it and making it good and straight, Oka used the force to take each part of the saber apart. Finally, it was all deconstructed. It was time to rebuild the Sharlon light saber.

"What about him?" She kept moving and spoke looking back at them. "A commander, a jedi knows when to lead and when to follow and knows when to listen. He displayed none of these qualities which makes me question how you are still following him. Let alone why, jedi only have command in hostile situations against sith forces. You could if you want walk away and not listen to me right now so you never had to listen to him." She shrugged as the caves cut down a great deal of the wind. "Though I do have the only working ship."

"Uh its ok, we just don't want to see a dead Jedi if we end up here again." He said with a small chuckle. They walked into a cave, and the wind went down a whole lot. Nearly there "do you always come to this planet ma'am?" Kujo asked while keeping up. He was mostly in his thoughts, but he snapped out of it when they entered the cave.
