I'm a What? (Niamh)

Teria looked between the two of them curiously. Niamh grinned and watched [member="Saki"] jump down into the hole. She waited a moment, waved at Teria, and followed suit, landing near her master in a half crouch. She looked around before straightening and moving out of the way. Seconds later, Teria landed near them, looking around as she did.

"This place feels off."

"Yeah, there's danger here. That's why we're looking for it. Jedi come here to get crystals. We can't leave evil here."

She gave a thumbs up and followed after her master.

Saki looked at them with a nod of her head to that, the jedi didn't always come here but this place was used by the few who paid attention. Solari crystals grew on this world unlike Ilum so did others it was something she preferred having for herself and he students so she could watch and monitor them. A small smile at the thumbs up and she was moving more while speaking. "Yeah if it is here we can't leave it, the jedi order might not come here for years but we can't leave things here to grow stronger." She was reaching out with what force senses she could and was thinking about what might be going on above. "We'll be careful and if it is more then we can handle we'll call in back up."

"I doubt we can't handle it. There's no Sith Lord lurking here."

Even then she was certain that three of them together would be able to handle that. Mostly because [member="Saki"] was totally amazing, but she and Teria weren't so bad either. They were both master's of Echani martial arts, after all. They stepped silently along the icy pathway, following their Master as she led them deeper into the icy cave network. Every so often Niamh allowed her mind to feel out around her so that she could help guide them to their destination. She was good at feeling things. That interested her.

"Go left at the next crossing."

Saki was looking and giving a nod of her head to that. She knew how to do things but... well she was internal and able to shape the elements with the force. Her sense skills were padawan level at best which could be dangerous but she knew how to fight and going left she looked at the large open area and saw in the distance several things. One was a large sheet of ice with sun light filtering through and snow dropping down from the thin sheet of ice over it. She was moving to the left and looking around at the rest of the cavern while she was shaping the water and ice to clear it so they didn't slip. She was looking at the earth and bringing it out somewhat where they needed to on narrow sections. "If there is a sith lord down here, we shall handle it.

"I doubt there is one, but this presence is a bit difficult to read. Could be the crystals, I guess."

That was just her guessing, though. She had no idea if the crystals could affect what someone felt in the Force or not. She knew that they were very close, almost right on top of the source of the darkness. That irked her a bit and she reached a hand out to touch both [member="Saki"] and Teria, stopping them in their tracks. If they kept going they'd be in serious trouble.

"We should wait and see, I think. It's not far from us now."

Saki gave a nod of her head to that while she felt Niamh's hand on her. She had an idea of what the crystals could do at least and there was a great deal of them here on Rhen Var.... but those were Solari crystals that grew here. "The crystals here there are lightsided ones and." She looked down. "You sense I'll punch everything and we'll make sure the roof doesn't drop down on us." She had a smile though... "But we might need to be patient and watch. I don't know if the coms will work but we'll see about getting what we can." Saki stood there and just looked down watchign for any signs of enemies or creatures.

Teria turned and put her back against Niamh's. In the meantime, Niamh pulled [member="Saki"] over a little bit so that the three of them formed a triangle. In this way, they'd be able to see just about everywhere other than above or below them. Well, they could keep checking that too, but it would draw their attention away from what was in front of them just as much as it would help them. Regardless, in a triad formation they would be more difficult to catch off guard. They'd have a better chance of defending themselves if there was more than one as well.

"I'm not worried about it. We're all warriors here. Just stick together."

Saki moved into the position and while she wasn't wholly used to it having someone at her back not trying to lope her head off was a nice thing. She had a small smirk while walking about and looking... then it was there and she could hear sounds echoing from the depths of the cave. She didn't know what it was but while there was a distinct drop in temperature and then more roars matching howls almost and there was frozen streaks of blood on the ice. She knew what this was... or suspected, it looked like what was on Shri-Tal and Faustin which meant it was bad. "Okay if this is the plague... we might be stepping into something bad"

Multiple sounds of disarray. Howls. Niamh shivered and Teria backed closer to her. [member="Saki"] mentioned something about the plague and that caused blinking. And then she realized where they were in space. How could it have gotten there, though? Crashed ship maybe? If that was the case, they were going to have to go and find it. And blow it up if possible.

"Ok. So... plague. Don't let it get too close then."

Yeah, she knew better than that at least. Her energy blades hummed as she readied herself.

"Nobody die, or I'll be very pissed."

Saki gave a nod of agreement to that and spoke... "If this is what is on Faustin which is close by then don't let it get into any bodily fluids, don't let them bite you, don't let them spit on you." She was looking and dug in her belt for a glow rod as it went down and Saki pushed a little deeper into the cavern until she could see the cause of the howling, a small group of Republic soldiers and jedi shambling with chunks taken out of their armor and one moving on a broken leg. Her normal thought of punching them wasn't going to work while she grabbed the staff and looked up. "There is a nice gap they can fall into, thankfully these things don't jump after awhile once the rot sets in."

"So, how do we make them fall into it? Bait them?"

That sounded dangerous. She liked dangerous. Still, this wasn't the usual brand of dangerous. This was the kind of dangerous that could lead to her being dangerous to her fellows, and that wasn't something that she found to be overly acceptable. In fact, it was completely unacceptable. That meant she was going to have to do her absolute best. Unless, of course, [member="Saki"] wanted to be the one that lured them into the pit. Then they still needed to find a way to kill them all, and that was going to be somewhat difficult.

"What do you want me to do?"

Saki was looking at the pit and then a Niamh as she had one or two ideas on how to lure them into the pit... Or at least an idea of what they could do. "Baiting them should be easier.... it will be killing them and making sure they are dead that might be the real trick." Her eyes went up to some of the stalactites above and the an idea formed. "Or it could be as easy as letting them go splat." Saki pointed up and indicated the end result of the plan.. her plan punching a rock to drop it on zombies... Totally should work as she stood to the one side of the gap as she turned to the things. "HEY DEAD THINGS.... JUST DIE ALREADY" The look she gave as they seemed to move a little faster towards them with more howls was that she needed while preparing.

Niamh watched [member="Saki"] just yell at the things. Literally, she stood to one side and yelled. Figuring it probably wasn't the best idea for them to be split up, because then the dead things might not do what was wanted, she stepped to the side, near her Master, and beckoned for Teria to join them. When she did, she stood there, and then reached out with the Force to grab onto one of the ones at the front. A slight tug brought the creature to the edge of the pit, and then it stumbled into it, descending downward.

"Get ready to bring the house down."

Saki looked at the two as they were coming at them and yeah she could admit it wasn't a great plan but it was a plan never the less and it was working... The zombies at least these ones were coming at them and Niamh's pull on them caused one to slip in taking half of the other with him. An interesting way to go about it and Saki looked up jumping and flying until she punched the roof and dropped a large chunk of stone with a crash. The hole larger as more fell but it made a nice thing to have them be buried under for the moment as snow and ice fell down. Now she was moving over the gap and looking at the gore slick ground seeing a larger trail. "Do you want to go deeper or report what we found to the jedi?"

It worked, and these ones fell hastily into the trap. The dead remain dead when Niamh is around. Of course [member="Saki"] helped as well. She followed her Master to the other side of the pit, Teria trailing along behind her, and looked further into the mouth of hell. Who knew what lay down the traversed tunnel. No doubt it was more of these. Wherever they had come from, they needed to be found and destroyed. Niamh knew of no better, or greater, purpose than seeing the end of this threat upon this world, lest any unsuspecting Jedi fall victim to them.

"Onward. We must end the threat and I need my crystals. So does Teria."

"I agree. This threat is too great to allow it to stand."

Saki agreed with that and while comming them in would e luring more people into the dangerous situation, she woudln't allow that and moving forward she nodded her head. "Alright we'll head down and if it gets to hairy well we'll bring the mountain down on them. Don't want these things getting out." Saki was moving forward and activated with a snap hiss her lightsaber as the pale purple light brightened up the dark area. Saki was going down and getting some crystals for Teria and Niamh would be easy enough it was the real question of what else they might find while they were down here that had her interested. The master Syn had fought a leviathan and beaten it by himself (with getting eaten the highlight as he cut his way out of it) and there were always dangerous sithspawn on the planet.

"I'm not worried. We're all warriors here. We can take them on."

She followed [member="Saki"] as they descended further into the ice caverns. Her eyes were more focused on her surroundings now, attempting to locate an enemy rather than being giddy about finding her crystals. Her intentions for her lightsabers had quickly been put on the back burner when they'd discovered that there was a threat here. Ending the major threat was more important than finding a lightsaber crystal. Or crystals rather. She intended to have two sabers.

"Find the horde and we can end it. Just be careful about it. I don't want to end up going back and telling everyone you died, Saki."

Saki continued to walk down and snickered a little at that... it would be ironic to die to a zombie here when she had been fighting through the sith and with the jedi for years... A nameless zombie getting the wrecking ball of the jedi who fought several sith on Empress Teta and a gient worm with only a hammer. Well worth it in the end as she spoke. "Well maybe I'll become a ghost and then you will be haunted, that ass of yours... haunted, I will always be around." Yes something to release the tension as they came into another cavern this one with a large ridge and there it was, a mass of zombies with a crashed republic scout ship. "Idiots they must have wen to Faustian and brought it back here. Alright we blow up the ship and ....." Her voice trailed off seeing the large sithspawn, Master Syn had been right... there was more of them here and the empire hopefully had brought them. She starred at a large leviathan somewhat trying to absorb and eat the zombies. "It is going to get infected"

Niamh blinked as she watched the leviathan devouring the zombie hoard. Well, that was one way to end the zombie threat. Of course, [member="Saki"] was right that it was now going to be infected, which meant that they were going to have to find a way to deal with the indomitable beast between the three of them. Scratching at her cheek, she ended up just walking over to a clean spot and sitting down. To be honest, she wanted to go down there and just kill all the zombies herself, but she knew better than that.

"Let's let it eat them first, at least. It will make it easier if we only have to face the leviathan."

Saki looked at her padawan and nodded in agreement it would be best to let the zombies and leviathan kill each other... then mop up. Ao in an uncharacteristically bright moment Saki went and joined Niamh to sit and watch the show, "We so need some popcorn." She said it grinning more as the beast roared and waded into the creatures slashing, biting and devouring them. She was looking at how best to kill it beyond dropping the roof on the creature and letting it go splat. "So any ideas other then dropping the roof on it?"
