Space battles were awesome. Well they were awesome when you weren't dead in the middle of one. Luckily that was not that the case at the moment but it was very subject to change in these waters. Hala herself was rocking a bounty of a half a Million back on Nar Shaada. Not to mention ticking off the Alliance at every turn.
Stomp! Stomp!
Her magboots slammed across the hull of the hulking Salvage craft as she moved. With a glance down she checked her EVA suit's oxygen and grinned. They still had over an hour to pull this job off. And the job was salvage.
"Axle, bring up the torch, think I got something!"
"Moving up Cap'n!"
Axle came up behind her pressing the torch into her palm and letting his own grin fly. They were magbooted to the hull of a huge Salvager vessel that had sucked in a couple of other vessels during the battle of Coruscant. The problem with so much wreckage was that teams couldn't get everything done in a day, so valuables were just tagged and left to be collected later.
"Here goes!"
The plasma torch ignited against the hull, burning the metal as fast as space could cool it. The first part was to weaken the hull plating, then they could set a breaching charge, slip inside and look around.
"Cap'n to Dragon One, you got anyhting on scanners?"
"Nope, still sittin' pretty Cap'n. We're in total blackout mode too. I'll let you know as soon as we smell a patrol or what have you."
"Sounds good."
"What you think is in this one?"
"Sources say one of the cargo freighters it sucked in was full of platinum bars. Which, well I don't have to tell you, you already know dude."
Axle whistled, checking his own oxygen.
"That equals mad money."
"Sure does." Hala replied, glancing up to see the curve of the City planet with her thousand lights blaring bright. She sighed and clicked off the torch.
"Charge, give it here!"
