Bloodlust comes from the K'paur portion of her genetics. Like her brother, dilution through her human DNA has reduced its effects but, has in no way resolved the problematic symptom of the species. As it is, blood will effectively heighten her senses and give her a boost of adrenaline, but copious amounts can take a more dramatic toll on her.

Though the risk is much less for Iliana than it is for her full-blooded counterparts, the Dark Side tends to linger at the edge of her mind. When she was younger she felt the pull a lot more intensely, but like her father and brother, and with many years of long life, she has learned various ways to cope with it. Still, she tends to be wary when coming into contact with Dark Side influenced areas or talismans, with the need to isolate herself following exposure in order to bring herself back to a place of balance.
