PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Iko is a fan of robes, no matter the weather! Rainy? Robes. Sunny? Robes. Facing down a lightsaber? Robes. He also is constantly wearing light colours such as white or blue, for the simple reason that "it's cool". No other reason for it. Well, there is one other reason. In his eyes, heroes wear the colour of purity and hope! And wearing stuff like reds, or oranges would go against that in his eyes.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Iko lives his life like it's one big performance, not out of vanity, but out of heart. Everything he does is about chasing that spark of coolness he believes defines who he wants to be. The confident grin, the stylish swords, the flashy moves, it's all part of the image he's built for himself. He wants to be the kind of person others look at and think, "That's someone who's got it all together." The irony, of course, is that he's still figuring out who that someone actually is.
Underneath the swagger, Iko is pure warmth, genuine, curious, and far more sensitive than he'd ever admit. He loves making people happy, not because it earns him points, but because it feels good. He just doesn't quite know how to say that without sounding, in his words, "like a total sap." So instead, he laughs things off, masks worry with humor, and dives headfirst into danger with a grin as if he can't get hurt if he doesn't stop moving.
He's driven by instinct more than logic, rarely thinking more than two steps ahead. If it feels right, he'll do it, whether that means jumping into a fight, trying to fix a broken speeder with no tools, or blurting out something heartfelt at exactly the wrong time. It makes him unpredictable, but also strangely endearing. There's a sincerity in Iko that can't be faked, a bright, restless energy that seems to refuse the idea of giving up or growing cold no matter how hard the galaxy may try
He's immature, sure, stubborn, reckless, and a little too in love with his own style. But he's also brave in his own weird way. Because even if he hides behind jokes and "coolness," Iko never stops believing in the light. Not the kind in Jedi texts, but the kind you make yourself.
STRENGTHS
Empathetic Heart "Everyone deserves a smile" – Iko can't stand seeing people down. Even if he's feeling miserable himself, he'll still try to brighten someone else's day with a grin or a joke. He's the kind of lad who'll lend an ear, even if it means ignoring his own problems for a bit longer. To him, laughter's the best medicine and he's determined to be the doctor for everyone else.
Adaptive Fighter "Improvisation is just preparation you forgot about" – Trained partly by Jedi, raised partly by chaos, Iko's fighting style is a mess…that somehow works. He's great at adapting to his surroundings, using whatever he's got nearby to his advantage. It's not graceful or elegant, but it's unpredictable.
Creative Artisan "The hammer's just an extension of the soul" – Iko's dream is to forge beauty, to make something lasting, meaningful, and uniquely his. He approaches smithing like an artist would a canvas, putting emotion and thought into every strike. He believes that crafting weapons or armor is about more than practicality. It's about telling a story through metal and flame.
Charismatic "It's not lying if you say it with a smile" – Iko's charm is almost natural. He's cheeky, witty, and not afraid to tease even people far above his station. He uses humor as both a shield and a bridge. It keeps him safe while drawing others closer. Whether at a formal event or a scrapyard, he knows how to talk to people.
Hopeful Realist "Tomorrow's probably gonna suck, but that's no reason not to try" – Iko might have lost his childish ideals of being a shining hero, but he's still got hope in his heart. He's the kind of person who'll crack a joke in the middle of a disaster, not because he's blind to danger but because he refuses to let it win.
NEUTRAL
Force Pragmatist "The galaxy gave me a tool, not a religion."
Iko doesn't see the Force as something sacred or mystical, it's just there, and he uses it however he needs. Whether that's cooling the air on a hot day or cheating his way through a climb, Iko treats it like an extra limb rather than divine guidance. Jedi Masters would probably roll their eyes at him, but hey, he's not a Jedi.
Flirtatious… Accidentally "Wait, that sounded smoother in my head."
Iko's charm isn't intentional half the time. He compliments people without realizing how sincere he sounds, or he teases someone just to get a laugh, then panics when they blush. It's part of his awkward charm, and part of why others aren't always sure if he's being genuine or just joking...Though more often than not, it's genuine.
City Boy in a Big Galaxy "Metal over mud any day."
Raised among the chaos and neon of Coruscant, Iko's still not used to quiet nature. He'll call a meadow "too empty" and wonder where all the airspeeders are. Rural planets make him nervous, there's too much open space and not enough noise. But he's trying to adapt
Modern Romantic "I'm not smooth, I'm sentimental."
Despite claiming to be too practical for love stories, Iko's secretly a softie. He believes in loyalty, shared laughter, and small gestures. He's not good at saying how he feels, but he shows it, in the way he checks someone's drink before handing it to them, or how he remembers the exact phrasing of an old compliment.
Nostalgic Daydreamer "I used to want to save the galaxy…now I just wanna make something beautiful."
He often reminisces about the 'heroic' ideals he once had, the younger Iko who believed in justice and noble quests. He laughs it off now but the wistfulness still lingers. He doesn't want to be that boy again…but part of him still hopes to find a spark of that wonder.
WEAKNESSES
Emotional Deflection "Laugh it off, it's fine!" – Iko's smile hides a lot. He's not good at admitting when he's struggling, preferring to mask pain with humor or distraction. He's terrified of being seen as weak or needy, so he'll brush off serious talks and turn deep feelings into punchlines.
Fear of Abandonment "Don't leave me hanging" – Beneath his easygoing personality, Iko's biggest fear is being forgotten. Losing his father, losing his old Jedi path — it's made him cling harder to the few connections he still has. He might not say it out loud, but being alone eats away at him more than anything else.
Overconfidence "It'll be fine. Probably." – Iko's easy smile can quickly become a smirk when he overestimates himself. He has a bad habit of assuming he can handle things solo — whether it's dueling someone above his level or jumping into dangerous ruins. Confidence without caution tends to get him into trouble.
Restless Spirit "Standing still's the same as dying" – Iko struggles to commit. To places. To groups. Even to dreams. Every time he starts to build something stable, he starts wondering what's next. That wanderlust might sound romantic, but it's also why he hasn't truly found where he belongs.
Self-Doubt "The mask fits better than my face" – Despite all his jokes, Iko doesn't think he's anyone special. He downplays his worth constantly, assuming he's just the "comic relief" in other people's stories. Even when others see potential, Iko only sees the gap between who he is and who he wanted to be.
HISTORY
Iko was raised in the upper levels of Coruscant, to a complete ordinary family that did ordinary things. They weren't anything special but Iko was determined to change that! From a young age, he has tried to excel and be seen as the next best thing! Helping out various shop owners near his house, or playing with the street urchins that littered the street, Iko made sure that people knew who he was! Of course, it didn't help that he always thought he knew the best way to do things, which might have caused one or two accidents...Though whilst he hoped they saw him as the kind and gentle Kiffar that would always lend a hand...Most people saw him as the annoying and loud brat that would make things more difficult for them.
Eventually, his parents decided that he should try and learn some more self control, and considering his force sensitivity, what better place to send him than to the Jedi Temple? He did have potential at the end of the day. And so thus, the young Lad was sent off to the temple to begin his grand tale! What shall happen next in the saga of Iko Vel? Who knows! Maybe you will be a part of it!
