Culture: Iknao live in large colonies with one solitary female called a queen. The queen simply lays eggs all day while other Iknao forage for food, protect the colony, build new tunnels to expand the colony, and fertilize eggs laid by the queen.

General behavior: Live in large colonies of hundreds of Iknao. Colonies are usually located underground with the entrance usually being near tree or Felucia roots. Small parties of Iknao will go off in search of food while others dig tunnels, feed the queen, and fertilize eggs.
History: The Iknao are a naturally occurring species native to Deleritas. They live in large colonies in many regions of the planet. They produce a venom that has been documented to cause mild hallucinations, but is not deadly. This has led to some groups capturing Iknao and harvesting their venom, which is then sold on the streets in the same manner that spice and deathsticks are sold. This substance, called Naosi, has been outlawed on the planet, but some people still sell it in the shadier parts of various cities. The Iknao tend to avoid humans as they have found that humans and other humanoid species are very dangerous predators.
