  HISTORY​

  
  Ikenna was born to a pair of farmers in one of Alderaan's pastoral regions. They raised a variety of livestock such as nerf, dray, and orbak. His Force sensitivity was found at a young age and he was taken to train on Coruscant and raised in the temple. He had an older sister who had also been taken to the Jedi and so he found the transition easy. His parents also came to visit during important Tholothian and Alderaanian holidays. When he became old enough to get his own lightsaber crystal and graduated from Youngling to Initiate he was relocated to complete his training to Alderaan at the temple there where he was able to spend much more time with his parents. In fact, he lived with them most of the time, sleeping and helping with chores at their farm before returning to the temple for his meditations, classes, and various Jedi duties.

  Destined for Cattle​
  When Ikenna was born, his parents had his midichlorian count tested. His count was relatively high and so they happily gave him to the Jedi Order, keeping touch with the occasional letter. Despite his count, however, Ikenna struggled in his Force-based lessons. During his class' pilgrimage to Ilum, he was the last student to find their crystal, nearly freezing to death in the caverns before his teacher ventured in to find him. Outside of the Force, he excelled in saber training and diplomacy, but he was never chosen as a Padawan. As his friends slowly left the temple on Alderaan and even younger padawans were chosen before him, he started to give up hope that he would ever be a true Jedi Knight.
