Description: The moon has a great deal of volcanic activity on the surface that from orbit it looks like its always on fire, Even more so when the volcanoes are at their most active.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Several mines are in the progress of being built to harvest the large surplus of Songsteel that surge through the underground of Ignis’s surface, Some veins that are exposed shine illuminating the various caves that are dotted around the surface. They sometimes twist and turn with the veins of Phrik that while are not as abundant as songsteel there is enough for production for a few years.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Ignis is one of two twin moons that orbit Erebos, It is a fair sized moon but its incredibly volcanic in nature with streams to near oceans of Magma teeming the surface and volcanoes that are very much active. At night on Erebos its eerie amberish glow coats the surface of Erebos which gives an eerie look to Erebos's surface, Some of the priests believe it to be one of their gods keep watch over the world they worship. The abundance of songsteel and Phrik ore on the moon is what makes it important but mining on it is a dangerous and tricky task given the fragile nature of earthquakes when the volcanoes start there eruption cycles.
