With a reputation of brutality, efficiency, and methodical precision; Ignacious has arisen from a pool of the former upper echelon of the Empire that was; warlords who have carved out for themselves remnants of the shattered Empire. After consolidating his power, Ignacious has done something many former Imperials may have thought unthinkable - the former Grand Moff has aligned himself with the forces of the resurrected Sith’ari himself - DARTH SOLIPSIS. Under the promise of achieving true order and prosperity throughout the galaxy, Korvan serves as the Dark Lord’s ‘Imperial Despot’ - the Commander-in-Chief of all forces within the DARK EMPIRE as it builds its strength in the shadows

Ignacious Korvan is, in a word - a survivor. As the spurned firstborn son of a prominent Sith Lord within the former Sith Empire, he was accustomed to his father’s apathy at best; or disdain at worst. Despite a promising beginning to his naval career as a graduate of the esteemed Bastion Imperialis Naval College and ascension to the rank of a full Lieutenant upon receiving his commission; Ignacious’ relationship with his father continued to deteriorate to the point of several attempts on his life so as to facilitate the ascension of his younger sisters as the heirs of his father’s legacy.HISTORY
A third and final attempt on his life would be thwarted by one such of his siblings; an act of kindness that would be consigned to history as they would never see each other again. Her path would take her to an unknown fate, whereas the path that lay before Ignacious was rather straightforward given it was the only one left to him. After staging a mutiny aboard the star destroyer he was stationed within, Ignacious would lead those under his command to rendezvous with the rising rebel movement of the NEW IMPERIAL ORDER. He would commend himself well in the navy of this New Order, and quickly rise through the ranks due to his demonstrated acumen for naval war doctrine and grand strategy. As the war began to near its conclusion, the need would arise for many of those within the New Imperial movement to transition into roles of governance rather than simply that of executioners of their former overlords. Many warriors of the revolution would transition into roles within the Central Government, including Ignacious himself.
He served as Moff of Cademimu V, his homeworld, in the burgeoning new Empire for several years. He would then be transferred into other roles as the need arose, until eventually rising in both status and influence to garner the notice of the ruling elite. As Upon the deaths of

, Ignacious would be appointed as one of a handful of Grand Moffs; and would be leaned heavily upon by the Triumvirate of Regents who ruled the Empire during its dark endgame for survival. Yet, his appointment as Grand Moff was unique, in that Ignacious was not like the men who preceded him. While Irveric Tavlar, Rurik Fel, Erskine Barran, and others of their ilk were dyed in the wool revolutionaries; Ignacious was merely a ‘revolutionary of convenience’ - a survivor who triumphed over those who sought his destruction notwithstanding the politics of his age. It was due to this unique brand of Imperialism that the Empire transitioned into a very dark age indeed, where defiance was dealt with in the form of state-wide oppression and rapid excision. An age of Tarkinism reigned supreme as Korvan’s star shone bright amongst the ruling elite, with the few remnants of liberal idealism dimming to the point of being extinguished with the mysterious disappearance of
Lucien Dooku
.
Eventually, Tarkinist influence would see the Empire divide past the breaking point, as threats both within and without would cause the once powerful state to fragment into shards of its former glory. Korvan, among others, would do what they could to consolidate power and preserve what sections of the old Empire that was within their power to protect, but to no avail. The “Empire that was” fell as suddenly as it arose, and would be consigned to the annals of history. But only for a time...

Korvan has always been a self-driven man. While he lived a privileged existence early in life, he had to learn how to fend for himself given the increasingly acrimonious relationship that would develop between him and his father over the years. What resulted was a mind keen on manipulating those around him; playing upon the individual strengths and weaknesses of his peers like a grand game of dejarik. As he grew older, Korvan became adept at utilizing this ability of manipulation with his natural skills at the life of a naval officer to climb the ranks of the New Imperial Navy, and eventually to pursue a life of politics. He is not an overly warm man, but possesses the ability to engender respect in his superiors and subordinates alike by virtue of the respect he grants them in turn.PERSONAL
He carries himself with the dignity and pride of a man who has clawed his way to his current station in life, and who expects others to give the same level of dedication and commitment in their chosen professions. Failure, or even worse; incompetence, are not things he is very patient of.
