"The Order owns this five-star hotel, with the understanding that whoever runs it is has to actually run it as a five-star hotel, unlike the old owners. And there has been no actual complaints over Jedi's travel expenses among the public that came internally. There are, in fact, people who are attracted to Jedi-hood because they wish to live the high life at their faction's expense, with the understanding that the cost of the high life they are living is the duty they perform; we can hardly afford to turn away people just because their motives to serve the light are more materialistic"

There may have been charges levied against the Order in the past few years, but the high cost of upkeep of the Jedi proper is not one of them. The population accepted the upkeep of the Jedi proper as being, in fact, a small portion of the total factional expenditures associated with public security and military expenditures, so they were perhaps more willing to cut some slack the same as they would the upkeep of special forces. Might be expensive on a per-capita basis, but their numbers are so restricted that they represent a tiny amount of the total personnel count. In short, they couldn't care less so long as their duties are actually performed. But the time she could spend with Seo was over, Varindar knew that many a Jedi that actually slept in its rooms found the luxury higher than they imagined; then again, that was what they got if they actually slept in a five-star hotel. Just that she had to be telling the truth about why she would readily accept Jedi to sleep in her hotel and bill the Order for every stay the Jedi make on the Order's dime. But few Jedi even dared book more luxurious rooms in the field than regular five-star hotel rooms - she may as well be one of them if the opportunity presented itself.

"Good night"
