Discussion If there's ONE scene that you would remove from each SW film, what would it be?

This is a pretty simple question, so here's my list:

- Episode 1: None. Idc if people think TPM is boring, I love it.

- Episode 2: One of the Anakin-Padme romance scenes, nuff' said.

- The Clone Wars Movie: Ziro the Hutt.

- Episode 3: None. This movie is amazing.

- Solo: Varies. I did not care for this film.

- Rogue One: One of CGI Tarkin face scenes.

- Episode 4: That one scene with the CGI Jabba, it's completely redundant.

- Episode 5: None. This movie is peak cinema.

- Episode 6: The stupid Jabba's palace song, why George? WHY?

- Episode 7: Leia hugging Rey

- Episode 8: The Holdo maneuver

- Episode 9: The Rey-Palpatine fight scene.

  • Episode I: I'm in the same ballpark as you
  • Episode II: Probably the scene between Anakin and Padme in her apartment when he's being super creepy.
  • Clone Wars: None, I guess? I'm pretty indifferent toward it.
  • Episode III: Can I ADD scenes?
  • Solo: The scene where Han gets his name. So corny.
  • Rogue One: Cassian and K2's death because I love them so much
  • Episode IV: None, to be honest.
  • Episode V: The kiss between Luke and Leia.
  • Episode VI: None. Its peak.
  • Episode VII: The entire movie if I could. But I'll settle for Leia hugging Rey too.
  • Episode VIII: Again, the whole movie - settling for the fight between Luke and Kylo.
  • Episode IX: See my previous two answers - settling for the Rey Skywalker scene.

Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
  • pisode I: peek nothing to remove
  • Episode II: most of the creepy anakin and padme scenes
  • Clone Wars: loved it need more clones in my life
  • Episode III: id say none
  • Solo: the part where he does the kessel run sucessfully only because of that droid
  • Rogue One: i liked it cant think of anything that i would like removed
  • Episode IV: want to see more of the vader obi one fight before his death
  • Episode V: im with the person above about the kiss scene
  • Episode VI: i also Agree CGI jabba was a bit wack
  • Episode VII: rewrite the entire movie to be original and not a copy of EP4
  • Episode VIII: everything but also the whole love triangle bs between poe ray and fin
  • Episode IX: everything but specifically the whole " i am ray skywalker" scene

He stood, so others might rise.
Ep I: "There’s always a bigger fish" or whatever he said. Nothing wrong with it, just splitting hairs and wouldn't be.missed if it were cut.

Ep II: Probably the last of the Anakin/Padme romance scenes, i.e. the wedding. That could have been told in past tense in Ep 3.

Solo: That stupid shuttle/escape pod on the front of the Falcon

The Clone Wars: Ziro the Zero

Ep III: They should NOT have cut the "Shaak Ti" scene.

Rogue One: If I was splitting hairs, probably Andor being told to Kill Erso. That could have been a "memory" narration when on Eadu as.he has Erso in his sights. Could have been more impactful as I had forgotten about nit up to that point.

Ep IV: Where Luke kills Danny Elfman... oh wait that's the Family Guy version. I would have cut Leia immediately knowing that they were allowed to escape. It wasn’t necessary.

Ep V: Theeepio getting insulted by the other droid, FUNNY, but was it necessary?

Ep VI: Did Lando really need to pull his guard mask down? Could have revealed him when he was next to Han

Ep VII: The saber tantrum

Ep VIII: "MOOOOOOORE" so pointless to me

Ep IX: The celebration scene with Lando. Felt he could have been with Chewie reminiscing about Han, Leia and Luke

I didn’t mind the sequel trilogy at all. Sure, they weren't GREAT, but the.original.trilogy was ahead of its time, and the Prequel trilogy had pasts to explain. The sequel trilogy had the problem of being 25 years real time passing by. You couldn't use Mark Hammil in Heir to the Empire and so on. They also had to contend with potential backlash of recasting everyone (Solo aside). I'm not justifying anything, just that I get what was going on there (even laughed at Rian Johnson flipping off the biggest haters by inserting Kylo talking about "forget the past" and "kill it if you have to").
