Description:

The ICA Automatic Shotgun is a small weapon made mainly for close quarters combat. The weapon requires little to no maintenance due to its substantial use of durasteel and can work effectively even after being submersed in water. A proprietary gas operated system absorbs most of the recoil, while recoil springs absorb whatever is left, thus leaving the "Can Opener" with almost no recoil. It can be fired with one hand. There is no select fire.

Status: Only One

Length: 40cm

Weight: 3kg

Ammunition Type: 12 gauge shells: tactical buckshot (8 balls), tactical rifled slug/hollowpoint (single, large, rifled round), birdshot (~100+ small balls), buck and ball round (slug followed by 6 balls), jungle rounds (birdshot followed by buckshot), dust buster round, bolo rounds (2 large balls connected by a steel cable), Dragon's Breath (magnesium pellets), flechette round (20 hardened tungsten darts, increased penetration), Frag 12 (HE/AT/AP rounds, arm 3 meters past muzzle, anti-personnel has an explosive/shrapnel radius of 2 meters, HE-Anti-Tank can punch through half an inch of durasteel)

Ammunition Capacity: 32 round drum

Effective Range: 100 meters with rifled slugs/Frag12, 50 meters and less with conventional ammunition

OOC: all ammunition is real life technology that exists today and can be used in the AA-12 automatic shotgun and the Striker shotgun, both of which form the basis of this design. The gas proprietary design system for recoil is used in the AA-12, as is the 32 round drum magazine.
