[SIZE=9pt]The primary weapon of the Jedi, a double-bladed lightsaber bears just as many disadvantages as it does the opposite. To some like Iakchi, however, the potential of these weapons was seen as worth the risks, and when it came time for the Wookiee to make his lightsaber, this is the design he finalized on. Made of Brylark wood, one of the few natural materials sturdy enough to make a lightsaber hilt from, the design is further bolstered by phrik banding, eliminating the classic saberstaff weakness of the grips being a major and easy target for smart opponents. With four ice blue Upari crystals used in its creation, easily obtained with the Wookiee tradition of using Upari crystals in jewelry and decorations, the blades are emitted in a bright and stable silvery blue color. A small lanyard is connected to one hilt, carrying a pair of scarlet Agr feathers at the end, a purely cosmetic addition to further highlight the weapon’s connection to Iakchi’s Jedi roots. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Phrik Banding: To eliminate the traditional weakness of the double-bladed lightsaber, both paired weapons were made with phrik in them, a material that is extremely resistant to lightsabers. This makes it capable of surviving a strike that would destroy an otherwise unprotected saber.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Paired Blades: The weapon is overall made of two separate lightsabers held together at the pommel in a double-bladed configuration. This allows for the user to either utilize it as a double-bladed saberstaff or separate them into two weapons for dual wielding. In addition the user can choose to extend only one blade and utilize it as a longer grip for more powerful strikes and maneuverability.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Positioning: Like all double-bladed sabers, this lightsaber bears the weakness of limiting the user in their ability to reposition in order to block or parry due to the dual blades’ obvious potential to harm the user as much as they would the enemy.[/SIZE]
