• [SIZE=9pt]Blaster/Laser Resistance[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]: The coat is made of krykna hide, a natural substance that is extremely resistant to plasma-based weapons. Both regular blasters and starfighter-grade cannons are all but ineffective against it.[/SIZE]
• [SIZE=9pt]Lightsaber Resistance[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]: The use of songsteel in the pauldrons provides an excellent defense on them against lightsaber strikes without weighing the user down too much like other materials such as beskar.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]While Wookiees often have a tendency to forego clothing aside from minor coverings, Iakchi’s acceptance into the Silver Jedi Order drove him to begin wearing some that would not only display his status as a Jedi, but actually afford him some protection in travel or combat. To that end, over his traditional Jedi tunic which includes a hood, a thick coat of armorweave and krykna hide on the exterior is included, taking advantage of the hide’s natural plasma-resistant properties. It can take direct hits from even starfighter-grade laser cannons without the wearer being harmed, as well as providing limited resistance to glancing lightsaber strikes. Light plates of songsteel make up the pauldrons attached to the tunic protect the wearer on the shoulders while cutting down on weight.[/SIZE]
