It had taken me a while to recover from my past experiment with the cane I made for Rave. Still proud of it though, it is my first project I did completely on my own and I don’t care if it’s not at the level of Entropy or Daesumnor, why you ask? Simple, it was my cane. I made it myself and that made it more special to me than a Sword which could kill someone and then capture souls or a Katana which is able to counter Force Attacks. Maybe it was foolish, but once in a while a girl can be a bit silly if you ask me or maybe I was still a bit woozy.
Either way, a few weeks had gone by after my experiment, I had given my present to Rave and she had seemed pleased at the gift which made me kinda happy. I wanted to do something else though, something… cooler. Wasn’t really sure what though, I didn’t really want to make another wooden stick with the ability to resist a couple of lightsabre hits, but let’s be honest here. It’s not like I was able to do much more than that, my skill in Alchemy was growing, but it was nowhere near the level of true masters like Valik and Rave. A lot more time would have to progress before that could happen, and in that time I had to practice. A lot.
Merrill had mentioned something about Entropy being lost, she had looked at me with a look… wasn’t really sure what to make of it, but I knew I wanted to make her happy again. So… something else, a new alchemical project, maybe… a sword? Try to make it fully resistant towards lightsabres this time?
An interesting idea, but it was overdone, if I needed a lightsabre resistant sword I only had to visit Rave and ask for one. What else was there though? It had to be functional, something that showed that I was really becoming better at this stuff while also help me in any future endeavours. As said, swords were so overdone these days, everyone and their figural mother had a sabre-resistant sword, but… what about a spear?
It had superior reach allowing you, in theory, to stand farther away from your opponent. Could be a good idea… but how do you go around making a spear? That ain’t exactly a 101 class, which meant I would have to start looking through the Holonet.
There probably would be some advice on there, right? Yeah, yeah I know. I could just ask Valik, but I didn’t want to bother the guy for something like this. I would prove I could be independent without almost killing myself… I think.
