I Want A Ropo Party [Open For All]

Voroll stared out of a window into the light of distant stars, colourful nebulae and even a few planets dotted here and there. He knew not the name of these planets or the system they belonged to – he had asked a Quarren he hired, but forgot the name after five minutes or so. The space station he was on was a neutral one, as requested by his rented friend.
It appeared that this being really did not like staying in the space of a major government for an extended period of time. Which should have probably lead to suspicions of the legitimacy of his occupation, but Voroll could sense no deceit when speaking to the man (who identified as Owvaw Ordinoke).

From the observation room of this space station, he could see the starship that would allow this journey to commence. It was an old, tattered Maka-Ekai L4000 transport, with more than enough room for what Voroll had planned to fill it with.
Already Owvaw had filled some of the cargo hold D with boxes of the famous Ropo-Snax brand of biscuits.

Advertisements had been broadcast on appropriate HoloNET frequencies of such a venture to Hoth to try and capture some of the immensely furry and cute beasts – which more often-than-not were posted to Ropo-related or other small creature-related channels. He had made sure to have co-ordinates on such advertisements so that those interested knew where to find him and the Captain of the Larkus.
Of course he hoped that there would be people interested in having their own Ropo, because the price of leasing the ship (and its Captain) were too much for the twenty-one year old to afford on his own. So much so that he had paid the deposit of the contract with his own personal speeder, Bertha.

This was going to be interesting. Hayato had asked if he could accompany the former Imperial Cadet turned Templar Aspirant Voroll on his trip to a planet he had never heard of before to get some kind of little creature. From the description he had heard about the creature it was apparently one of the most cute, adorable and fluffy creatures that ever existed. Though that was not the main reason why he had wanted to go on this journey. The main reason was that he could learn more about different planets, cultures and maybe even something about economy, because who knows how awful Hayato was when it came to business and such. Although Hayato didn't know what exactly Voroll planned to do with the creatures once he had them.

The Knight moved towards the observation deck. There he would meet Voroll and once he saw the giant plexi-steel wall, he also spotted Voroll. He quickly moved over to him and once there, he bowed and said ''Cadet- I mean Aspirant Voroll! How are you this fine day?'' It was good to see some old friends again. Especially faces Hayato had not seen since his time with the Imperial Knights.

The room was otherwise silent, bar the occasional footstep and whispered conversation, so when @[member="Hayato"] walked into the room, Voroll could hear it. The footsteps were louder than the excitement that their owner felt about this venture. And while he could not distinguish those feelings as the former-Imperial Knight’s, the reflection in the screen did.
A smile flashed across his face when the Ronin stood next to him, staring out into the colourfully-dark expanse of space and planetoids. He wondered if Hayato knew that the Ropo were not native to this system, or any sector near it, but the snowball that was Hoth.
Much of the details of the advertisement were vague, mainly because Voroll did not know them at the time of publishing them himself.

“I’m really well, thank you, Ser Hayato. It’s good to see you again.” His face turned to that of the newcomer, with the smile and warmth that it expressed patterned across it. He had not been seen since the confrontation on the Bastonian space station where he revealed that he was leaving the Fel. Voroll could not recall those events clearly. “I would never have guessed you liked Ropos.”
The decision was made to not tell him everything of the journey just yet, in case more Ropo-lovers turned up mid-explanation. Voroll wanted to save it for when everyone who wanted one of the living balls of fur made their presence known.

If there was a being whose love for Ropos surpassed that of Voroll then it was the Iron Knight HK-36. He was one of the first beings in the Protectorate to hold a Ropo when they cleansed the planet of a pirate scourge, and as such, he contributed to the mass introduction of the cute little furballs to the present Galactic Community, even being responsible for the population of Ropos the Protectorate started to sell commercially. There was something about the droid, his presence made the Ropos around him more keen on getting frisky and making more Ropos..

And as such, the droid was well aware of Voroll's advertisements, and he just as well knew where wild Ropos could be found. Hoth, the Ice Planet he has visited quite a while back. His adventuring frigate, the Siege Tower, was stationed in planet's orbit along with a contingent of supporting ships the droid has been able to summon by pulling some strings.

His purpose around the planet? To check their legitimacy of course!

His love for Ropos didn't extended to just keeping few as pets, he wanted to make sure their habitat was preserved and that they would not be disturbed by the expedition. Every adventurer he would have wanted to be given access to the planet to have a try for the Ropos needed proper license they could have gotten at Fondor or Corellia or through the Holonet, otherwise, hunting or capturing Ropos was very much so illegal and the droid would be forced to subdue them.

The licenses, besides being a bureaucratic pain in the butt, actually had a purpose, they kept track of who was allowed to try and capture wild Ropos, in case their population would start to dwindle, and to make sure that those who ventured onto the planet's surface were prepared for all the dangers they will find there. Mainly Wampas.
Yep, they were as much for the protection of Ropos as they were for the Adventurers.

So, the droid waited with Hoth's defense forces, if the adventurers didn't had proper licenses yet, hopefully Voroll found out about those during his preparations, they should get some so the droid wouldn't have to step in and stop them.

With it being apparent that no other interested parties would be participating in the hunt for the fabled furry ropo, Voroll turned to @[member="Hayato"], who still stood next to him.
“Ser, we should probably get going if we want to catch Owvaw sober enough to fly.” Turning fully, with his back against the large screen over-looking the unknown planet, he smiled at the thought of an intoxicated – possibly aggressive – Quarren trying to control a starship. Of course the dangers of such things followed the images, like falling out of hyperspace in the middle of a star, or just never leaving hyperspace itself.

Hallway after hallway he walked, assuming that the Knight was following closely behind or had taken a detour; Voroll did not know the station very well and had taken the wrong exit on at least three separate occasions. The first lead to a large access hatch that came before an airlock which was not their own; the second had led to the female refresher and the third wound them back on the same path they were on previously – they knew this because of the same Jawa painting an image on one of the walls.
