"A Dramatic Force-Blessed Myth"

Vulpesen's coat trailed at the heels of his boots as he paced through the training room of the Tenevi Temple. He'd gotten a call of a person who was both willing to join his cause, and in need of training. Of course, he had been quick in sending the invitation to his planet, his hidden hole in the galaxy to which no man could find his way without the help from those who had been there themselves. He just hoped that in his haste, he hadn't been too quick in inviting some unknown enemy.

On the ground of the training room, Vulpesen had drawn his master's wheel, a device that he would likely use once his newest apprentice arrived. After a bit more pacing, Vulpesen finally seemed to relax as he made his way to the center of the rings, calling Ace to his shoulder. it had been a while since he had been a teacher. Now it was time to see if he was still up to the task.

Cain arrived at the planet wearing a set of dark robes with a hood. Hoods were a tricky thing for Cain because of the horn that sat atop his head. He had to cut a hole into every hood that he owned at a certain spot to make sure that he was comfortable while wearing it. When he had reached the temple, and entered it, he got lost almost immediately. After some searching he had found the room he was looking for and entered it. Once he got in he saw a man standing in front of a very strange circle. Confused Cain took a couple steps forward to get a better look. After looking closer at it he still had no idea what it was. Cain scratched his head while he said "That thing on the ground there kinda reminds me of a giant spaceship that's about to crash into a little planet."

Vulpesen turned to the person who entered, his tail flicking in mild surprise. So this was the one that had been sent to him. He couldn't help but laugh, his professional air shattering at the barking sound. Once he had calmed down(though it took a few seconds), he swirled his saber and gave an exaggerated bow. "Welcome, kid."

Cain paced back and forth in front of the entrance. Was this man mocking him? Now that he thought about it, he did look like an idiot with his depiction of the circle. There was something familiar in his voice that he just could't make out. After a few seconds of thinking about it, it hit him. This was one of the Sith Lords he attacked awhile ago. "So, it seems you're the one who's going train me. What an unlikely coincidence"

Vulpesen smiled broadly and nodded to the student. "Seems like it. Maybe next time you'll be more prepared when you take on multiple sith lords." He grinned as he recalled the last time they had met. Sure he held no ill will to [member="Cain Laatl"], but that didn't mean he wouldn't hold it against him.

Cain let out a laugh. It definitely wasn't one of his brightest moments. "Well that's the reason I'm here isn't it? To prepare myself for those uncanny situations." He couldn't help but to smile. He sized up the man who's name he still couldn't remember. Hopefully he would be able to learn something useful from him.

His grin continued and he receded back to the center of his training circle. "Now, perhaps its time for some more formal introductions now that you've seen me without my mask." He deactivated his saber for the moment. "Vulpesen Torrevaso, Valde of the Tenevi Order."

He remembered Alex calling him Vulps during their fight. It didn't seem like a good idea to call him that seeing how they just met. Cain decided to give Vulpesen small bow. He then said "My name is Cain Laatl." He wanted to see if the man in front of him was still a Sith or if he decided to relinquish the ways of the Sith like he had.

He nodded to [member="Cain Laatl"]. "Good to meet you Cain. At least, good now that I'm not among the sith you're trying to kill." He motioned the knight over to himself. "Well, no time like the present. Please, come forward and step into the master's wheel."

Cain stepped forward with caution. He didn't trust the circular object in front of him. He stopped next to it, and after looking at it for a short period of time he stepped into it. He turned to face Vulpesen, being careful not to distort any of the lines by stepping on them. After looking at Vulpesen he said quizzically "What now?"

His grin continued. "Turn on your saber if it has a training setting if not, you may use one of mine." As he spoke, Vulpesen drew his own weapon and turned it on, dimming its power to stunning so as to not sever any limbs during their training. "These circles, when you are with me, are your world. Nothing exists in or outside of them and depending on where we are in your training, your world will shrink farther and farther until you are ready to expand it to the galaxy."

He tapped the most outer ring. "Third circle. This is where training will begin. The easiest as you will have the most room to maneuver." He tapped the next ring. "Second circle. You an move but less freely, there is always the danger of attack so you must always be on your guard." Finally, his saber tapped the last and the smallest ring at the center of the pattern. "Third ring. There is no rest. You fight until you win and you do not stop moving."

He started to tap the three triangular sections. "These work in the same way. Linear combat, maneuvering combat, and flanked combat. Though, these we likely won't be working on so you do not need to worry about them."

Cain's main lightsaber had no such switch. Nor did 3 of the other lightsabers he had on him, but Cain did have a single lightsaber with a training setting. He pulled that lightsaber out, and flipped it in his hands a couple times. He had only held this lightsaber less than a dozen times, but he had carried it with him for 3 years. It was very plain, a simple shade of silver, and was a simple cylindrical shape with only one button. The hilt was extremely smooth and shiny. It weighed a lot less than his normal lightsaber which seemed like it would be a problem. Cain said to Vulpesen "I've got my lightsaber, now what?"

"Now, you learn. You are hear to learn the second form, Makashi. Way of the Ysalimiri and form of contention. As you practice, there is a mantra that you must learn and know by heart. Elegance, Economy, precision." He brought the blade to a vertical position before crossing it in an "X" before his body. "This is the makashi salute and flourish. Every time you duel me, I expect to receive the set. It is the mark of a second form duelist.
