I Recognize You (Hakora Cinthra)

Emily closed her eyes, sinking to the ground in relief. She deactivated her weapon and sat it down next to her. Her breath came out in huffs. She wiped the blood from her mouth with her the back of her hand. "I know it's there, too. But I can't just get rid of it. Aya was a mother to me. And they took her from me. Then they tried to take me, too. I wouldn't let them then, and I won't let them now. I refuse to be a Sith." She said, her words clear and strong. Her hatred would always be there. But she wasn't one to just give in to something. Least of all the Dark Side.

Hakora approached her and let his hands gently hover over her body as he tapped into the force to begin healing her. He needed more practice and training in the healing department so this was a slow process. After one area was healed he would move his hands to hover over the next to begin healing. "That is all good, but I garentee half of the One Sith thought the same thing and now they are what they hate. Hate is a like drinking poison wishing the other person to die; in the end it only hurts you and not them and sometimes you become that which you hate. My purpose it I seek peace and I do not need to be sith or jedi to do that. As long as I am seeking peace and keeping that in my mind the dark side has no power over me and when I must kill I do it for peace and not for hatred. Let this sink in a bit." Hakora gave her a soft smile. He did feel a little bad hurting her, but sometimes to teach and prepare someone for the road ahead you had to do it the hard way because the easy way never fully prepares someone.

Emily thought about this for a moment. "You need to be careful, too. You seek nothing more than peace, but what if what you believe is peace turns out to be worse than what was before? There are more ways that the Dark Side can get in your head than just hatred. One of those ways is through trickery. Remember to make sure to take a step back and look at what you're doing before you go through with it, and make sure that it is truly the way of peace." She returned Hakora's smile.

"What is peace? Peace is harmony and unity. This is not what the dark side is, they are at odds with each other. Trickery is dangerous, but no matter how clever the dark side is you can't convince someone that a bannta is a human. It just doesn't work." After she was healed, Hakorra flicked her between the eyes and stood once again. He was surprised at how fast she had gone from wanting to destroy him and feeling betrayed to realizing it was only a test.

"Ow..." Emily said as Hakora flicked her. She smiled playfully. "Oh, so that's how it's going to be, huh?" She said. She stood up and walked right up behind him. She quickly wove an arm around his abdomen and poked his stomach. She then retreated, creating a bit of distance between them. She never usually got to have a bit of fun with anyone. To Jericho, it was work and sleep. Nothing recreational whatsoever. This was a nice change compared to constant drilling and endless hours of meditation.
