Getting close was what Nemene was best at, or rather what happened when people got close to her. She had never been a long ranged fighter, her lack of strength in the force had seen to that. When the lightning flashed at her she reacted out of instinct, her orange lightsaber blade sprung to life on one side, catching the red and black bolts.

She seemed to waver slightly, shifting her feet backwards as the bolts struck the bright burning blade and the floor before her.

Then as Jared got closer Nemene shifted forward again, her foot flew forward and kicked the sand in a round arch. A wall of dirt, sand, and debris flew towards Jared's face, a cheap move in order to blind and distract him.

It was a trick he had employed numerous times, therefore he was ready for her shenanigans.

The moment she tried to employ her dirty trick, his palm flew open and the Force swept through it. Her sand-attack would fly straight back into her own face, or maybe she would dodge it.

Such things happened.

Before the sand could strike her Nemene moved to the side. She used the wall of sand to cover herself, the lightning ceasing and her body sweeping to the side of both the wall of sand and Jared. When she finished her ballet like twirl she appeared to his right, her blade thrumming loudly and her left hand pushing forward.

She sent a wave of the force out towards Jared, hopefully knocking him of balance as the sand fell where she had just stood seconds later.

His own manoeuvre had put him off balance already, but before he could regain it; a blast knocked him off his feet again. Damn woman, she was better at this than he had expected her to be. Jared skidded to a halt, the friction of the sand made his glide less graceful than he had hoped it would be.

Nevertheless, he stumbled back on to his feet and eyed her for a while.

“Interesting, you are not that bad. Though you will have to do better than that, if you want to.. what did you say? “Break me”? Come then, lass. Come and get some.”

Out of seemingly nowhere constructs of darkness materialized in his hands. Two spears of Midnight, he was getting better at their constructions. Once he had to use the pain that had been inflicted upon him, during a duel, now... now he could create them at will.

Nemene twirled her lightsaber, allowing both blades to spring into life this time. The deep crescent orange blade seemed to thrum and attract sand as she swung it around. Her chest rose and fell steadily, sweat beading down her perfectly smooth skin. She was not a powerful force usr, and that last attack had taken quite a bit out of her.

For a second she closed her eyes, a long blink that seemed to last for an age.

When the orange orbs revealed themselves again time seemed to slow for her. The cheering crowd, the falling dust, the way that Jareds mouth moved as he spoke. She frowned slightly, her eyes shifting over him, trying to spot any and all weaknesses she could find. A breath escaped her lips, her chest fell, and suddenly she burst forward.

She was a blink, one moment standing still and the next appearing before Jared.

Nemene swung her lightsaber in a wide arc, slicing towards Jared in a diagonal path while keeping her legs tense and readying herself to jump.

It was a plain fact that Jared Ovmarmamrar was stronger than Nemene, he had more experience, more power and there was something else. It was a primal force that flew through him. His skin was free from the transpiration that occurred when one was fighting and spending his energy.

The only thing that was seen, was the rips in his robes, from where he had crushed into the wall. Nothing else and that should have worried Nemene.

If only she had realized she was dealing with an... Eater. The Zombified Horde had only amplified his power, the more fell the more power he had gained and even after this extended fight; Jared was still fresh and still had the clarity of mind.

As the Lady moved in to attack him, an Aura of the Force surrounded the Lord. An aura that fed upon the energy of the blade, as it moved passed it.

Seconds slowed down to hours, as the Lord saw the blade coming for him.

Perfectly executed swing, excellent stance.. and she is holding up well enough. This one might prove useful.”
It was only a muse, his hand snatched out the Lightsabre yet again. This time the burning sensation was lessened, the blade had lost most of its strength early on. He did not wait for a reply, instead he... punched her. Right in the gut, with an amplified Force movement.
Again he did not wait. He grabbed her by her neck and threw his knee right in her gut again. Then with a furious bellow, he removed the lightsabre from her grasp and Pushed her away for him in the general direction of the wall with the Force.
"Enough. Admit defeat and we shall.. talk."
