"You talk a big game, let's just hope you can--"

The man's words were cut off by an explosion. Ardgal hurrled a frag grenade over the man's body, it bounced off the ceiling and exploded, sending him a half a step back. Most of the shrapnel was absorbed and bounced off the armor, keeping Ardgal safe.

The Mandolorian surged forward, his hand extended and the retractable bastard vibroblade in his armor shot forward. As the armored Titan recovered, his forehead came in contact with the two handed swing of Ardgal's blade the blunt force of it sent him back a second step, reeling. Ardgal pressed his advantage, coming back with a cross-cut to the neck that sent his foe on a full, back-pedal retreat. The blade came down once more on his enemy's head in a heavy, downward slash. The blade snapped into a thousand pieces, shattered on the titan's head. Ardgal tossed the blade's hilt aside, reaching onto the ceiling above. Both his legs came forward in a suspended drop kick. With all his might, the general shoved, bringing the titan falling down on its back.

He lept onto the stunned form. Ardgal's fingers gripped under the helmet, finding purchase where the folds of the power armor underlay met, they dug under it, into fleshy skin.

The cargo hold was all clear it seemed of any reinforcements. In fact Gray couldn't really sense any other people in the ship at all. That was weird......very weird. He frowned under his helmet as he contemplated his next move. Then he began to hear a beeping coming from the corpse of one of the nearby pirates. He moved over and picked it up. It kept beeping without stopping at all, so he pressed the button and listened to what was being said over it.

" Finally a reply. The big boss says we are to pull out and abandon the base. The operation is a failure and we are to leave these Raxis folk to their spoils. We are to re-organize at the base on D-"

Gray frowned as the transmission suddenly cut off before he could hear whatever it was that was to follow. But he had gotten a clue as to what was going on here it seems. Someone was working in the background and had these pirates more organized than they normally would be. From the sounds of it it wasn't a pirate king either. Batou Rouge was one before Gray spared him and hired him on to work for the clan. Batou wouldn't just head out like this when one of his bases was under attack and already taken. Someone else was directing these people, and Gray needed to figure it out.

Ardgal looked down at the bloody corpse, panting. Adrenaline was wearing off. He had killed the titan. It's blood covered his gauntlets and had sprayed on his armor. The general sat back on the body, letting the rapid developments of the day sink in.

"Are you alright, sir?" a voice broke him from the moment. He felt a hand on his shoulder, stirring him to action.

"Yes," Ardgal said rising to his feet. "Gather the spoils. Begin to treat the wounded."

"Yes, sir."

The general looked at the body, its armor was useful. He'd use it to defeat those who had come against them, after some modifications of course. The general followed his troops out of the wreckage. This base was as good as any to start to use as the Alpha Company's temporary head quarters. They would need one. He knew it. Someone was out to destroy his family. He wasn't about to let that happen.

"Strip the armor from the body in there," he ordered, "Be careful. It will be mine."

"Of course sir."

"Find Gray for me. The Alor. We have much to discuss."

Indeed. Much to discuss.
