I believe those belong to me...(C.I.S/Aaralyn)

OOC - This has been discussed with [member="Salem Norongachi"]. PM him to join on C.I.S behalf.
LOCATION: Chroma Zed Orbit
ALLIES: [member="Ember Rekali"]
OBJECTIVE: Secure the Healing Crystals of Fire and the Holocron of Sar Agorn within the C.I.S Train.

Rowdy manuevered the YTA-1300 freighter above the planet of Chroma Zed, flying into the formation of ships enroute to deliver supplies to the Templar Garrison. All the security clearance codes had checked out, cargo scans had checked out and so far, everything seemed to be going perfectly according to plan. Aaralyn looked at the console before her and then over to [member="Ember Rekali"] and motioned. "So, we're going to hit the train where the intelligence says the holocron and crystals are being transported." She paused for a moment. "In this?"

She knew it was a dumb question, one which would get a sarcastic answer from Ember no doubt. Her finger came up to touch the necklace around her neck and the single piece to the Codex of Tython which she still held onto. A sigh escaped her lips as she watched her father with a blank stare. The man had some of the most unique plans but also some of the most craziest ideas in order to go about executing them. So far, this one had taken the cake.

"Kid, if there's one thing I learned by retiring from bein' a Jedi Master, it's this. You get a fethton more good stuff done when you stop thinking that there's only one way to do things. This ain't the dignified way with shiny assets." He leaned away from the controls and gestured at the train cargo map where it had been taped to the console over the inert tractor beam panel. "C'mon, let's run it again. Healing Crystals of Fire will be in the fourth car, third and fifth armed escort. Tascollan Holocron may or may not be with it. Depends on if some Templar-Obsidian-whoever is lookin' at it; if it ain't in the fourth car, it'll be in the seventh, the most likely one for a commandin' officer or Forcer VIP. I can keep the ship mindcloaked for as long as you need to get in through the roof of the fourth. If things go south, I drop the White Current cloak on the ship, turn the controls over to the pilot droid, and come down to lend a hand."

Aaralyn rolled her eyes and leaned back into her chair. "Fine, it's just I think you should come down there. You know be support right off the bat." She shrugged slightly and motioned towards the train on the map. "But I don't wanna bring an old man such as yourself out of retirement." She smirked and patted his shoulder before jumped up and out of her chair. "So, I guess we should get going down to the rendezvous point then." She patted the dome of Rowdy and pointed towards Chroma Zed. "Take us down Rowdy, Nice and easy..." She leaned down to her droid and whispered. "And don't let the old man boss you around, k?"

Ember snorted in amusement. "Kid, I've pulled off more in the last month than your whole Order's pulled off since Korriban fell." He rose, leaving the controls to the astromech, and slotted his helmet into place as part of the prefight checklist. A slug mag slotted into his forearm shattergun; blades slipped in and out of both bracers, at front and back, as he moved through the ship's lockers. He was keeping their Force presence, their Force signatures, locked down with the same White Current skill that would shield the ship once they left and made for the train.

The atmosphere began. As planned, the ship slowed very gradually until it was at the back of the pack. With a grunt, Ember submerged the vessel in the White Current and Rowdy bent its course toward the distant train.

"We are now undetectable by any means. Let's be careful with that."

It was quiet, odd for a train but it was what it was. Xavier had been keeping to himself as of late, Druckenwell had been strange, it'd been a step into a larger world for him. Killing for the first time was quite a large step for the young Umbaran, but it hadn't phased him, not at all. It only felt natural, to swing and strike, slash and impale, it all came so naturally. It was somewhat disturbing if you asked him. But regardless, it was what had happened. In the aftermath he found himself stained onboard a train crying force knows what, the briefing had been well, brief. So now, the boy kept to himself, the small flying reptile on his shoulder looking about inquisitively.

Aaralyn gave [member="Ember Rekali"] a mock salute before leaving her seat and then the cockpit. Her hands coming behind her, clasping together as she brought them up in a stretching motion as she moved. This would be interesting, much like everything else had had been doing for the Jedi Order. Artifact hunting was something of a unique thing, a fun thing. Something to get her mind off the looming questions of [member="Ayden Cater"] and the what ifs. She wasn't sure about where they were anymore and couldn't really see him much lately. War did funny things to emotions and relationships and their friendship or whatever it might have been called was no different.

War was not biased by any means.

She made her way to the boarding ramp as the ship began it's decent into the atmosphere, roaring through the traffic before suddenly breaking off. The modified YTA-1300 followed the path of the hovertrain system, the sound of Rowdy beeping in her ear about the estimated time to arrival caused her to yell back towards the cockpit. "I copy!" With that being said, she fumbled around in her utility belt before securing the earpiece that allowed her secured communications between her and the ship. She quickly slipped it on and tapped it lightly. "Testing, testing. Dad, you copy?"

The commstream slotted through his helmet ports, straight to the earpiece combo that kept him insulated from sonic weapons. "Loud and clear, kid, let's blow this thing and go home."

The freighter, still submerged in the White Current, moved in concert with the train at an altitude of fifteen metres. More than easy enough for a Master to jump, even with a heavy payload like the Healing Crystals of Fire. Ember stretched out, got a gentle mental resonance from the Crystals, and verified their location. "We're over the fourth car, if this droid of yours can hold us steady. You've got twenty minutes before the mountain tunnel. Go."

Aaralyn didn't bother to respond, instead she lept off the ship and onto the fourth car of the hover-train, and within seconds she detached her lightsaber from her hip and ignited the blue-white blade. She quickly brought it down into the metal casing of the fourth car, pressing the energy blade deep into the center of the car. She concentrated heavily on the energy beam as it penetrated the layers of metal, super-heating the various armor beneath the surface layer. She could feel the metal beneath her feet begin to crackle and bend under the immense temperatures and pressure. She slowly twisted and turned the blade, her tongue coming out of her mouth as she focused harder into the blade itself. She attempted to expand the heat further, attempting to open a hole large enough to jump down in and out of without anything getting caught.

It was another day in paradise right? Allyson waited for the que to jump in, she stood near Ember who would be giving her the signal to do what she did best and that was help control the mechanical things down below and well shoot the place up. The near force dead girl adjusted the energy cells of her blasters making sure they were far beyond the stun setting.

Pulling down a pair of goggles she rested them just above her eyes, looking towards Ember. “So why are we here again? Big payout?” [member="Ember Rekali"]

He switched off his transmitter to talk to his first mate. "Big as it gets, no question of that. Not money, not right away. Investment." He glanced back from the ramp. "Not wild about leaving the flying to that R9 of hers, but I've gotta focus on the mindcloak. Keep an eye on the droid, and keep an eye on the train. I've got too much goin' on up here." He tapped his temple and reactivated his transmitter. "How's the cut coming, kid?"

As [member="Ember Rekali"] asked, the metal infront of her crumbled away from super-heated Force applied pressure. Little whisps of smoke were wisked away by the speed of the train itself. Aaralyn deactivated her lightsaber and pressed the earpiece. "Done, entering the car now." She quickly jumped down into the hole and landed in a soft crouch and as soon as she did the sound of the bulkhead sealing shut and the hole she made enclosing caught her attention. A sense of danger tingled down her spine and bright lights flooded her vision causing her hand to come up, shielding her eyes from the sudden onslaught.

"Drop your sabers!" A loud voice commanded.

Aaralyn groaned softly. ~This was supposed to be in and out...~ But nothing was ever so easy anymore. As she brought her hands up, both saber hilts would drop. Silly non-forcers believed they could contain her just by asking her to drop weapons. Her arms shot out suddenly, a ripple of energy coming from her form in an explosive fashion. Lights exploded, metal bulkheads bent ouwards and bodies went flying. The men didn't even have time to react, much less cry for help. Sparks would fly as she reached down to pick up her sabers, whistling softly to herself as she made her way over unconscious bodies.

She came upon a soldier who was struggling a bit, trapped under some metal and trying to reach for his blaster. "Now, now, let's not do anything we'd regret." She kicked the blaster away from his reach and quickly brought her boot down to his face, sending him to dream land. Her attention then shifted to the console before her and the floating shards of Crystal behind the shield. "Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" She looked to the left of the Healing Crystals of Fire and at the Holocron floating much like the Crystals. "And you as well my friend...."

Ever felt really, really screwed? That was how Xavier felt in the present moment. Standing in the doorway behind [member="Aaralyn Rekali"], he gulped, and thumbed his sabers ignition. Big sister and all her minions wouldn't save him now, not here. The amber blade sprung to life in the youth's hand as he glared at the Jedi master with icy blue eyes. "Step away from the Confederate property." He ordered bluntly, his voice strong as he resisted the urge to flee.

He couldn't win here, he knew that, but he could stay alive long enough for some sort of reinforcements to arrive, hopefully not in the form of one [member="Ember Rekali"]. Then he was dead for sure. Two masters, one apprentice? The odds were stacked against him as is, that'd just be overkill. Right?

Aaralyn raised an eyebrow as she sensed an overwhelming sensation of fear? Or was it just general nervousness. She hear the snap-hiss a few meters behind her and both hands came to raise just as the shields around the Holocron and the Crystals deactivated. She would slowly turn around and her smiling face would go to a look of sheer stunned surprise. A kid!? Were they serious. Aaralyn dropped her hands down to her sides and placed them on her hips. "Look, kid, I don't have time for games. I'm sure you're powerful and I shouldn't play games with you but I just want to get these and go home, ok?"

She would offer him a wink and a smile to kind of throw him off even more. She then laughed a bit, turning towards the pedestals that held both the holocron and the crystals. She easily secured both of them at the same time, ripping them free from their confines and putting them into her satchel. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she realized the kid would still be standing there when she turned around, and most likely would try to prove himself. Turn she did, and there he still was. She held up her hands infront of her, palms facing out towards him as she moved a few steps closer. "Look, why don't you just leave? It's for the best, the Confederacy doesn't obviously care if you live or die huh? How about you come with me?"

[member="Xavier Vi'dreya"], [member="Ember Rekali"], [member="Allyson Locke"].

Aaralyn said nothing more since the kid was obviously stunned in fear. She quickly hopped up onto the debris field she created, jump up through the hole in the roof and landed smoothly against the top of the car. "Dad, I got it. Let's go..."

She didn't bother waiting for an affirmation, she quickly lept into the open hatch and the YTA-1300 freighter would pull away from the chaos which Aaralyn had left behind. Two artifacts down, a billion more to go.

Fin.
