Nights had come and gone where Jack had tossed and turned. The force was calling to him, awakening something deeper within his being. Images had all flashed through his minds eye in the maelstrom of his dreams. The Canyons of Yinchor where he'd mastered Telekenisis under the Zeison Sha. The Grounds of his mothers old home, where he'd found a map of her whereabouts.

But there was other images too. His mother, a witch and others he couldn't discern. Jack had never met Vassara Raxis, but he'd heard snippets and tales. Each night he awoke and scribbled down the dreams in a data pad with shaking hands.

Each time he jumped, locking the coordinates randomly, allowing the force rather than his computer to pick the path. He was on a pilgramage, and it had taken him here.

To a once of a Forgotten Enclave now abuzz with activity.

One foot in front of the other he moved, crunching the dirt and leaves as he approached the doors, clad only in his spacers jacket and trousers, with the traditional Clan Raxis handkerchief about his neck....

"Hows it going..."

She looked down at him as she let her body fall from the branch she was laying on, her feet catching the branch and allowing her to hang there with her head about three feet above Jack's. True to what was normal for Alexandra, she remained wearing her robes and her silver hair remained free and straight as it now hung in the air almost infront of Jack's path. She wasn't meaning to obstruct the man so to speak, but it was a new temple and she enjoyed making sure she was the first face that any visitors saw coming to this place. The funny part of the situation being she was probably the Order's oldest member, as well as its founder, yet because of the past events, she now looked nothing more than a child as she greeted Jack.

"I must say, that was rather quick. We only just move in and we already get our first guest. You are either extremely quick, or you just got lucky and showed up here by chance. Am i correct?"

Her hands were crossed behind her head as she waited for the visitor to answer, hanging there with a raised brow and a grin while a white wolf like animal peered down from the branch itself that hung above Jack, the one she was hanging from.

Brown eyes glanced up from beneath his bushy brows, and Jack swung his shotgun over his shoulder, letting it ride cowboy style. He couldn't help but crack a grin at the young woman. She was zesty and full of life and.... well beautiful too. He could feel her as well. There was alittle pin prick at the back of his mind, a dull whispering of the force.

And it was very strong here.

"You know luck is just for smugglers right?" He jested.

And then he continued.

"I was drawn here by the will of the force miss..... uh."

He trailed off, not knowing her name or her rank among these folk, if she had one.

Even the building itself was radiating with thick force currents, rolling off of it like raging rivers.

She smiled and let her feet release the branch before twisting in the air so that she would land infront of him, though she needed to turn around smooth out her silver robes which seemed devoid of any weapons or sabers unlike other sects such as the Jedi and Sith who were married to their weapons. "Alexandra Feanor, a pleasure to meet you and i welcome you to our temple. Its rather dirty still so i do apologize but we just moved in and are renovating the husk that we had found on this planet..." She smiled as he studied her and in turn he would find the white body of the minature wolf like creature running up Alexandra's side and stopping on her shoulder. For a few secconds she glanced at the wolf, and it at her as they seemed to have a silent conversation before her smile returned.

"Why don't we get you out of the forest and into one of the rooms inside the Temple. I am sure that you are rather tired of walking considering there aren't too many easy places to land on the planet near us... part of the reason we set up shop here." To any Jedi, Sith... or well anyone who know about the two orders, the young woman without a lightsaber would probably seem nothing more than an excited student who had found a visitor to the Temple and was ready to introduce him to her order. Though, as much of the order knew and the Mandalorian leadership that had given Alexandra and her people knew, she didn't need her weapons to provide any interlopers with enough of a problem to send them packing.

"So, you arrived here because of the force? If i didn't know any better i would have thought you were a Jedi."

The term Jedi made him flinch inside, but the external reaction was an eyebrow raising high as he locked eyes with her. He had no doubt she could feel him out. there was more to this woman than he knew, and he was sure of it.

"The Term Jedi is subjective Miss Feanor. I hail from many different traditions, some about as old as the Jedi themselves."

He followed her close behind as they made their way through the temple, observing the students and their exercises. Some sparred with sticks and some were silent, meditating in large circles near what appeared to be a tree in the center of the courtyard.

Jack felt a sensation he'd not felt since Yinchor. This was not a haven for one side or the other, but rather almost like a neutral river. He'd read of the white current, how the Falnassi were outside the force and both embodied in it at once. The Zeison Sha had been similar in their teachings, surviving with the force as a tool rather than a religion.

And here he was, among a tradition that eluded him.

"Please excuse my ignorance but.. What is this place, and who might you actually be? I can sense more than you're telling me Alex."

"Actually, you would be wrong there, my rogue friend who follows many traditions. This place is a haven for the Order of the Grey, a group that doesn't try to flaunt political power and instead works to keep a balance in the force by throwing their blades and their weight two whoever requires their aid more. Our tenants are made in such a way that we could even end up as enemies on the battlefield because we all are given the choice to choose who we fight for rather than the order itself picking a side. This was done to ensure that balance is always kept and that no one leader of the order can sway the entire order to pick a side. Of course, if someone breaks a tenant, that is a different story as there are few true rules when it comes to us being members of this order, and breaking them is severe."

She paused as she sat down and sighed, the ashlan leaving her shoulder to curl up in her lap as she looked tired, though it looked like she was more tired from just the day rather than being physically strained by anything she had done today. None the less she smiled and laughed again to herself as she thought about the last part of his question.

"As for more than meets the eye for me, no im just Alex. Nothing special so i hope im not disappointing you too much."

A neutral order. And it truly was. Based on the slim writings Vassara had left behind she had been gunning for something like this. These Order of the Grey were interesting. Jack could only fathom how they'd end up if they were to pick different sides of a conflict. Jedi slaughtering Jedi for a conflicting cause and allegiance? He couldn't wrap his mind around the notion.

"So Alex, what do you teach the students here then?"

He was beginning to grow accustomed to the idea, but only with great effort. They must have a wealth of knowledge, and knowledge was what drove the Jedi. Those with whom he most closley identified with, even if there was a deep darkness within.

"I prefer the ideals of walking within the light and using the dark side to fight the dark side. What do you think of that?"

"The masters teach what they can and we learn from them depending on the frequency of the classes. Keep in mind that we are not the Jedi, the Jensaari, the Sith, or any like them. We don't have structured learning and the only lessons you will find here are those offered by those masters who remain. All of which are more than allowed to deny us training if they so choose..." She paused as she knew of a few students she refused to teach certain techniques because they were not ready for the strain that came with the powers. Specifically the ones she used in order to create the reservoirs of energy that were force Nexus', a tree placed at the center of every temple the Grey had ever had.

"Walking the light and using dark to fight dark... using a power and where you draw power from is different than the intent and purpose of that power's use on someone. You could use lightning to ininerate those who would stand in your way of power, or do so to cripple a man who would endanger hundreds in his personal quest for greed. It is how you use the power that determines where you walk... i don't know your name."

Jack listened while simultaneously drawing the powers inwards upon himself. It was a delicate balancing act to both maintain focus on her words and on drawing the energies of the force around him. They were rich and multifaceted, like a milkshake with many different favours. He rather liked the feel and the way they interacted with him.

For once in his life Jack was imply a being, immersed in the force, but in the very center.

Her last remark shattered any semblance of concentration as she spoke however, and he raised both eyebrows, realizing how rude he had been. He'd stumbled into her temple, and even conversed and laid down his ideals. But without a proper introduction.

"Sorry bout that. Manners don't exactly become us fringer folk. Names Raxis." He said, extending a gloved hand.

"Captain Jack Raxis of the Rogue, and many other titles which slip my mind. You can call me Jack for short though."

"Raxis... funny, first your i assume sibling gray shows up, and now you. Hope you two didn't plan that." Her brow raised as she waited for the answer to her question, having fully noticed he was trying to already take a quick lesson to heart. 'Even if he isn't Gray's sibling, he is certainly just as impulsive as the other man...' Her mind mused over those internal words as he introduced himself to the point and she nodded at the end whether he would begin to explain his relationship with Gray if there was any for that matter. Either way she found herself sighing for a second and stretching while she sat there.

"No need to be sorry for where you grew up, i grew up in a literal hole in the ground so no worries at all when it comes to that fact. I must say thought that if you had been a jedi at any point in the past, i can understand why they kicked you out considering your conduct. The stiffs never would have had you around long before they got too annoyed that you didn't fit in their perfect little world."
