OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: A Personal Weapon for Zeno Dremati
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: The Holocron Eaters
  • Affiliation: Zeno Dremati
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: Hysteria
  • Modularity: Though the saber is modifiable from its current form, it would be counter intuitive to do so. Because of the unique make of this saber, which was crafted in the same vain as the Holocron Eater Demon Masks, every piece that is replaced or removed from the blade strips away the power accumulated into the blade itself over time.
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Obsidian, Beryllius, Alum composites, Kyber Crystal

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Lightsaber
  • Size: Average
  • Weight: Average

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Shin'yah Crystal: Hysteria is equipped with a crystal unique to its design. Following Operation Cinder on the planet Vardos had several prominent cities reduced to ash by the climate disruption array satellites used to raze its surface. This destructive force, which caused quakes and volcanic eruptions, inevitably created sheets of cooled lava rock and pressurized crystals - most of which were impure and mostly worthless. Among these mostly worthless crystals, however, was at least one specimen that had developed along a darker path than the rest. This crystal formed as a result of direct satellite fire that crystallized minerals beneath the planet's surface during Operation Cinder - catching and absorbing the ripples of terror in The Force as the citizenry was massacred by The Empire they loved. This crystal was later found beneath the husk of a Shin'ya tree. When used the crystal creates a black and amethyst blade with a smokey effect. This crystal lends itself to creating an aura of fear and confusion when activated - thanks to the raw emotions absorbed during cinder - allowing the wielder to appear more imposing than they may otherwise be.
  • Accumulated Power: Hysteria, much like the demon masks of The Holocron Eaters, accumulate the power of their wielders and the events they partake in. This blade in-particular has been passed down to those specializing in mysteries of the mind or those who use fear based mentalism. Thus the wielder of the blade may call upon the blade's energy to increase the potency and fear factor of mentalist attacks.
  • Secondary Crystal: A second crystal is present to allow a split current activation for usage underwater.
STRENGTHS

  • This saber has a potent presence in the force that exudes fear and confusion when activated

  • The saber possess two crystals to allow activation and usage underwater
WEAKNESSES
  • The saber's unique force abilities are dependent on the original physical components of the saber and the energy accumulated therein. Thus the saber is only modifiable at the expense of weakening its unique force-based abilities. Furthermore, damage to the blade that requires replacement would also weaken or possibly nullify the abilities all together.

  • The materials of the hilt are not lightsaber resistant and thus open to destruction during lightsaber combat.

DESCRIPTION

The Lightsaber
Hysteria is an unmistakable blade that was carved into the same squid visage that was emblazoned upon the first demon masks created by the Holocron Eaters. The blade itself has a long history dating back from just after the destruction of Vardos. Much of the blade's history is speculative but among those of the Raskava it is generally accepted that the first wielder of the blade was one of the Jedi who originally departed the galaxy in 427 ABY. The reason for his possession of the Shin'yah crystal is unknown but may have possibly been in relation to their goals of finding the supposed holocron that could save the galaxy - or possibly to safeguard it from falling into the wrong hands. Regardless of its true origins the blade has been passed down through the Holocron Eaters for several generations, collecting the experiences and residual power of each wielder. It was passed down to its current wielder, Zeno Dremati, sometime in the past two decades.

There is a lot of issues that it is rather hard to condense so I will try to break up.

While I did enjoy the Blog Post on reading, this cannot be used for Factory. You want to use these people in particular, you have to make a codex entry. No exceptions.

I would recommend making a tech submission over this crystal. It sounds interesting and needs to be expanded upon more.

STRENGTHS
  • Is a lightsaber
This is not a strength, remove it.

Let me know if you want this is all fixed. Codex may take time so if wished, I can put this into pre-factory till it is finished.

Fixed the manufacturer! The original creator of the eaters subbed an entry that is now approved.

Fixed the strength bit!

And I'll likely sub a tech for the crystal as an expansion to this sub, as I agree it's a super interesting concept. For now, if it's not pressing for the sub to be approved, I'll likely wait on the sub and request an edit to put the link in after I've completed it. I want to take my time on it and not rush the crystal for the sake of getting the saber approved.
