BACKGROUND: ​

Once the Navigator of the Iron Fleet, Hyperion reluctantly ascended the mantle of the Captain after the latter's untimely death. Although the command typically passed through a formal commission from the Captain, the fleet's millennial rules state that, in the absence of such a commission, the Navigator assumes the role of Captain.

Shattered by the Master's fleets in the Battle of the Quantum Veil, the Iron Fleet was revived with the help of Djinn Rizzla and in return the ancient free fleet pledged their loyalty by signing an indefinite letter of marque in service to the Rizzla Empire. Through this troubled times, among saltier sailors and grizzlier veterans, the Navigator must fill the boots of their former Captain.
