Hyperdrive Shenanigans

Vosh continued throwing things around the room, seeming to gravitate toward throwing around the fragile and breakable objects like plates and cups, deriving a lot of enjoyment from shattering them. After a bit of throwing things around, she decided she would experiment some. Raising both hands, she directed her attention to a single table. She dug deep into herself, finding the strongest emotions she could, building them as fuel. Slowly moving her hands together, she was trying to crush the table into a ball. It was strenuous, and she was starting to sweat as she kept going, but all of a sudden, with an ear-piercing screech, the metal imploded on itself and fell to the floor. She took a deep breath in, a childish grin across her face. "I should do this more often!"

A brow raised as [member="Vosh Mozh"] crushed one of the tables. Not a normal thing to say the least, but impressive. "Perhaps, but remember you're suppose to also be cleaning. Get it all into the corner so we can get this all out of here and set up the room. I hear you're good with a blade. I want to work on that before we reach the station. Who knows if we end up in a fight there, but I expect it." With that the Zabrak went back to assisting the move of items across the floor to the trash compactor. Soon enough, they would be done.

Vosh was amused by his words. Not because of what he said but rather because, in her excitement, she'd forgotten that they were supposed to be cleaning. She began pushing things to the trash compactor, trying to resist the urge to play around with her newfound Force abilities. Though she still wasn't very adept in the Force, she had made a lot of progress today. She now had hope that she could become a powerful Force-wielder after all. She was excited to get to the station and use her powers. Though she wasn't aware of what dangers, or opportunities in her mindset, were on the station, she fancied she could make them if she wanted.

"How much thrust do you think those auxiliary engines have?" She asked, pushing the last of the obstacles to the trash compactor.

DHK-51

Faithful Assassin Droid
DHK had left for the cockpit, stepping over some broken piping that would need to be fixed later. But that was someone else's job, DHK was built for assassination, not repair. Reaching the controls, the console flashed red for a few moments before returning to a more constant state of orange. The droid pressed a few buttons, and the ship jolted forward, sending the captain's chair spinning in place. Pressing the button for the intercom, the droid would speak.

"Apologies: Sorry master, I was just starting her up. Suggestion: It may be wise for the two of you to buckle up, this may be a bumpy ride." With that, the droid switched off the intercom for a moment, before switching it back on and setting course for the space station. "Announcement: Attention lady and gentleman, this is your captain speaking, we shall be heading to the nearby space station to make repairs. Please strap yourselves in and enjoy the ride."

[member="Darth Ferox"] - [member="Vosh Mozh"]

"Truthfully? Not much. In fact, I don't really expect to make it there. But if we do it'll make fixing it easier." As he spoke he too finished with his portion, and with a press of a button the compactor activated and crushed the trash and ultimately removed it. "Regardless, we should focus on the here and now, aye?" With the room empty he stepped to the center, pulling free his lightsaber. "Now pull free your weapon and strike me."

And then the ship jerked forward. A grin formed on his lips as he heard his droid speak over the intercom. Good timing. An unsettled footing would be a great test. "Come on now. Perfect timing." [member="Vosh Mozh"] [member="DHK-51"]

Vosh took her lightsaber off of her belt, holding it in front of her and unleashing its stark red blade with a hiss, followed by a menacing hum. "If you treat me like an acolyte now, you won't survive to realize your mistake." She was boasting. It was characteristic of her, and the arrogant grin suited her face quite well. "I trust that you're wise enough to see as much, anyway." She stood ready, her focus on [member="Darth Ferox"] 's lightsaber. With a swift step forward she took a downward swing, aiming at his shoulder. Her blade moved quickly, leaving a trail of red through the air. One would notice that defending against her attacks would not be like defending against any other acolyte.

[member="DHK-51"]

A small chuckle escaped the lips of the red man as he brought up his blade in a two handed grasp. Such arrogance. Here's hoping she could back up her claims. In a single fluid motion the red man lifted his blade, angling the red plasma in just a way to knock [member="Vosh Mozh"] 's lethal arc from his body. Then, with a step forward, he would bring his blade from it's defense to a strike, lashing out for her chest in a quick riposte. So far there wasn't much to show him her skill, but it was just beginning.

And he looked forward to seeing her true potential.

[member="Darth Ferox"] 's jab was swift, but Vosh had seen its type before. She brought her saber back from his parry to meet his blade with a crackle. The red light from her saber was trailing through the air as she let a flurry of easily blocked attacks out, attempting to wear him out. Though it did exhaust her somewhat, this technique was good for disorienting an opponent as well. The sounds of their blades clashing cracked through the air.

[member="DHK-51"]

A smile formed on the Zabrak's face as [member="Vosh Mozh"] came in, striking here and there. They were predictable. Was she trying to wear him down? If so, she would find him easily able to keep up. The Force flowed through his form, giving him an unnatural endurance as well as speed and strength. It was during one of her attacks that he finally struck back. Typical of Djem So, he would slam his saber against hers to knock hers away and launch his own volley of attacks. Unlike her flurry, his would be unrelenting, attempting to over power her with sheer power and strength.

Vosh was surprised. She expected him to go easy on her, but when he suddenly unleashed his own volley it took her off guard. Her parries were weak, her lightsaber almost knocked out of her hand a couple times. He was certainly a master, and she had much to learn. Finally, fed up with not being able to strike back, Vosh began to employ the minor learning she had in Soresu, putting on a defense. She found an opening in one of his attacks, clashing her lightsaber to his and holding him in a saber lock. Feeding on her frustration and anger toward the duel, she rose her hand and unleashed a furious blast from the Force. Behind [member="Darth Ferox"] , the steel wall took a colossal dent. She was relying on the hope that this blast wouldn't push him away, but instead was hoping that it would disorient him and give her an opening...

[member="DHK-51"]

The blast pushed the larger man back, his focus simply on keeping his footing. A frown formed on his lips as he watched [member="Vosh Mozh"] , though he no doubt respected her improvement. Still, this was getting dangerous. So he kept his blade up, holding it defensively before his body. He knew the girl would continue forward on her attack now that he was off center, and the most he could do was weather the coming storm and prepare to force an opening for him to strike back.

Vosh was about to bring her saber down, but his frown caught her eye. She knew then that she was stepping into a territory she probably shouldn't be, and so she halted her saber in the air. Turning it off, she placed it back at her hip and crossed her arms. She didn't say anything, only waited for something to happen. It was a shamed silence, and she waited for scolding.

[member="Darth Ferox"] - [member="DHK-51"]

"Why did you stop?" Ferox stared down [member="Vosh Mozh"] as the frown on his face deepened. While he was worried where the fight was going, he had an easy way to stop it if he had to. This wasn't what he had expected, but he did understand where the apprentice was coming from. His own saber deactivated as he stood straight, no longer ready to fight. "In a real battle you never stop, unless you need your subject alive. Regardless, you've proven your skill with the blade, and your learning how to combine the Force into your combat sequences. On the station we'll see what we can find for training equipment to keep you progressing, aye?"

Vosh nodded, placing her arms at her sides. "My apologies, master." Her body felt cold from sweat, so with their fight over, she left the canteen to see if the showers still worked, or even if they had any showers. Meanwhile, she was hoping that they would arrive at the station so she wouldn't have to use the on-board showers. If the canteen were like that, then the showers must be worse. Wandering about the ship was also a nice pass-time.

DHK-51

Faithful Assassin Droid
The journey to the space station was a long one, that's what happens when you're only running on the auxiliary engines. The droid could hear the clashing of sabers in the next room, and was glad that it's master had heeded it's advice. They were near now, and sure enough, the station sent them a transmission, asking what their business was.

"Statement: This vessel has sustained considerable damage to major systems, we require repairs." The answer by the droid was vague, but served its purpose. They were allowed to dock, and a repair team would meet them at the air lock. DHK brought the ship to it's docking zone, stopping the vessel slowly. It then left the cockpit to find it's companions. It found it's master, still in the canteen.

"Announcement: We have arrived master, a repair crew will meet us at the airlock. Query: Where is your apprentice?"

[member="Darth Ferox"] - [member="Vosh Mozh"]

Ferox had remained in the cantina, fishing the cleaning of the floor while [member="Vosh Mozh"] went to shower. It hadn't been a long process, thankfully with the modern day tools, but it was no less disgusting. By the time [member="DHK-51"] would find him however it was finished, the room looking almost as if it had been freshly made. Tossing aside one of the scrub brushes, the Sith Lord stood right up, casting his gaze to his droid companion.

"I believe she went to go clean herself. She learns fast, and is already quite handy with a blade. Keep an eye on her progress when I cannot, alright?" He was indeed pleased with the results he had seen from the woman. Soon enough, she would make a fine Sith. "And, monitor her social behaviors. She's fairly undisciplined, which isn't too bad for a Sith. Regardless, I don't want her snarky comments getting us into any trouble with the locals, aye?"

DHK-51

"Acknowledgement: Understood master, consider her under my watchful gaze." The droid replied, before turning to look at the room. "Congratulation: Well done with the room master, looks as though you weren't throwing tables and clashing blades in here. Query: What should we do when the repair team comes aboard? I could eliminate them once their task is complete?" As if to signify the urgency of the situation, a banging could be heard on the airlock door.

[member="Darth Ferox"] - [member="Vosh Mozh"]

"Hold of on eliminating them for now. They could become part of our crew if we play our cards right. If not, then nah. We can kill them." [member="DHK-51"] was always eager to kill others. A good trait for an Assassin droid of course, but not every problem was solved through killing. "Go retrieve my apprentice and bring her to the ramp. I'll handle the officials for now." With that, the red man made his way to the exit ramp, both hands behind his back. There was still so much to be done.

[member="Vosh Mozh"]

"Statement: Yes master, I shall retrieve her immediately and meet you and the ramp." The droid replied, before heading to the washroom. Though it had no capacity for embarrassment, it didn't wish to annoy the apprentice by intruding. "Statement: Acolyte, your master wishes for you to meet him by the loading ramp to meet with the officials of this station. I am to wait for you here until you are ready." DHK then stood to the side of the door, waiting for the acolyte to finish her business.

Vosh walked out of the showers almost before the droid had finished its statement. She was already fully clothed and ready to leave. She glanced at [member="DHK-51"] as she exited, generally unappreciative of it as a whole. In her mind, the droid would have to prove its usefulness beyond amateur repairs before she would have any respect for its capabilities. "Come on," she started, pulling her cowl over her head and walking down the corridor. "The longer we wait inside this ship the more I think about how we could easily get blown out of here with a proton bomb."

Vosh was eager to get in and out of this place. Though to others it may seem she was suddenly angsty, it was the odd feeling of something being out of place somewhere on the station that set her in a bad mood. She could feel that, though the main areas of the station might be fine, something in the lesser populated parts was stirring; something bad...
