Intent: To create a bolt that upgrades a single droid unit’s software and with new hardware to work in part of the HYDRA System

Description: With the construction of the HYDRA War Droid, the scientists at HCE have produced the HYDRA UPGRADE for use on standard droids. With simple installation of this product (enough for a short range transmitter, about the size of a standard comlink), this spiders into any lesser war-droid programming. It allows for the droid to be networked to a specific HYDRA unit. The unit itself releases cables into the droid’s central processing unit to join it to the network, allow information sharing, and to accept the new orders from the HYDRA’s advanced processing.
This unit can only be installed on droids when they are in shut-down or maintenance mode. When a droid is lost, so long as the majority of it is relatively intact, an UPGRADE unit can be retrieved, however they will need to undergo minor repairs and recalibration for each droid they are installed on.
