STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Strengths:

Kyr was very strong, and was instant death if you didn't avoid close range. He was also a fair marksman, when he chose to use a blaster.

Because of Kyr's impulsive nature, he was incredibly adaptable when a plan went wrong.

Kyr never removed his armor... ever. He did business, slept, relaxed, even ate with his suit on, at all times of the day for every moment in his life. He utilized a Tusken technique for eating without removing his helmet, as a result he had modified his helmet to their schematics, making his armor something very recognizable.

Kyr is became quite handy in the resourcefulness area, using any and everything as a form of aggression or defense. There is very little he couldn't use against his enemy. However though, with his return to Tatooine, he had taken up a more Tusken approach, using less and making sure it works.

Weaknesses:

Kyr did not handle technology very well, given his Tusken background against advanced technology. As a result he carried few technical weapons by Mandalorian standards, bringing him to a slight disadvantage in the long run on a few occasions.

Kyr was fearless, which might be considered a strength, except the fact that he viewed hesitance, as cowardice. As a result Kyr was dreadfully impulsive, thus making him slightly predictable.

Remember when we said Kyr was fearless? Not so. As a Tusken, water is a blessing and a curse, to drink it is life; to swim in it, is hell.

Kyr became doubtful in Mandalorians in general. He only came back on occasion because he felt something was threatening Mandalore, thus he has come only to fight. His personality in this respect changed, and was far more hostile, and spoke even less than before. Since leaving the Mandalorians permanently, he often expressed to his son his distaste in the current regime...

SHIP: N/A

BIOGRAPHY:

Born on Tatooine, Kyr was part of a Tuskan clan. This though was short lived, by the age of three, somehow he had been separated from his clan, and was thus left behind. But an incredible stroke of luck befell the small "child", a Mandalorian Ship had crashed-landed not too far off, and a group of Mandalorians were stranded. Eventually they had found little Kyr, the males of the group thought to shoot him first, but the sole female objected, having a strong moral code and sense of honor. Though they were hesitant to agree, eventually the woman whom Kyr would perceive as his mother picked him up in her arms, and he was then unofficially adopted. Their trek through the desert went on for several hot, dry days. The Mandalorians were beginning to lose their minds to dehydration, having drank the last of the water a day before. They grew insatiably irritated with Kyr's extra burden on them, some of them threatening the female Mandalorian with abandonment if the Tusken child was not taken care of. Eventually it came to the point where one of the Mandalorians ripped the child out of the adoptive mothers hands and proceeded to beat the child. When the female moved to intervene, she was knocked unconscious momentarily. At this in self defense the Tusken child removed the Mandalorian Iron knife from his assailants belt and slashed the cowards throat, thus earning his name.

When the group eventually survived and brought him to Mandalore, his training in the Six Actions began. Due to the Tusken culture he had been temporarily raised in, he was able to pick up the social structure quite well. He especially took the first tenet, must wear armor, to heart. He went to the extreme with this one, resembling the culture of his Tusken origins. He had never taken his armor off, he only took bits and pieces off to replace them with better fitting ones. For a time he was nicknamed "Gihaal" after the fish they ate for his pungent odor. Later in life however he was able to integrate a bathing system in his suit, after being exposed to the "washing up" other humanoids seemed to do, despite his thinking it was a waste of water. He soon grew out of this ideal however seeming as water was common place on Mandalore. He rose through the ranks very quickly, as an expert in hand to hand, and bladed combat, along with proficient skill with a gun.

He rose through the ranks and became a distinguished Mandalorian, looking to become an Overseer, and possibly, something more. Some time after the Fall of Junction and the Battle for Concord Dawn, he was promoted to Rally Master. As a full fledge soldier of war, he went through some changes in his arsenal to accommodate his history with Sith, and his new rank. Already, he had made adjustments to his fighting style and began to accept more technological advancements, such as grenades and flamethrowers. But he remained a close quarters warrior, using his flamethrowers in conjunction with melee, and utilizing grenades as a means of distracting the Sith with adequate danger.

Many years went by since the Battle of Mandalore ended in tragedy. He had returned from his self exile long ago to defend the birthplace of his adopted people, only to see it end up in ruins. Many of his men had died, the 500 Tusken warriors of the Warband he had created as the Prince of Sand, the Mandalore of the Tusken Tribes, suffered heavy casualties, especially after the Death Watch Nuke detonated, incinerating the Martyr of Mandalore. Kyr hated the Sith even more than ever before, but looked upon his brothers and his once beloved Mandalore in disdain. How could they let this happen? How could they possibly have allowed the Sith to come this close to taking the Motherland? How could they suffer so much and inflict nothing upon the treacherous scum that lay like fat bloated rats in the dark? Doubt is a powerful enemy to a loyal warrior, and too much over the years had been sown into the stoic Mandalorian.

Once again exile was an option, and he headed it knowing little else. Another era of the worst Tusken Raids in centuries would begin, but Kyr would eventually find himself bored, disgusted even by his own invincibility and power among these scarcely battle worthy victims. Once again, he left his tribe under the guise that he was crusading against the evils that would consume Tatooine far more totally than any band of smugglers or pirates sleeping in the slums. He was not sure that he could return to his people again, having already left once. Only time could tell, and it would show that once more the Prince of Sand would return... no longer was he fit to answer the call of Mandalore.

He did not see this however as him failing to answer the call, but his loyalties were confused, and he had grown old. Too old to truly fight as the others had. He had seen the Mandalorian Empire grow since the end of the of the 400 Year Darkness... now was the time for him to settle down. Now was the time to breed a son worthy of his quaint legacy.

INVENTORY: The Tusken Raider had been known to use many various weapons throughout his life and career. Few of them were technological, but as the Prince of Sand he used even less. His special armor as always, but wrapped in Tusken bandages. His Crushgaunts those days carried not much more than his Beskar Gaderffii. He kept it a secret, but he did however still use flamethrowers, but he had them discreetly applied to his wrists.

He has been known to use a list such as this in the past:

Tusken Raider Gaderffii made of Mandalorian Iron, Crushgaunts, Two Mandalorian Iron knives, Mandalorian Armor with integrated Tusken Survival Gear, one blaster rifle with a flamethrower, and one slugthrower 8-gauge shotgun. From time to time, has been known to use Ultrachrome Vibroblades in place of his Gaderffii, such as the End of the Battle of Concord Dawn, and throughout the Reinvasion of Junction. He is additionally known to be part of the "Grenade (Spam) Squad", which includes Verz Horak, and A'den. That means he usually carries a small arsenal of Grenades with him, which includes Force-breakers.

KILLS: N/A

BOUNTIES COLLECTED: N/A

So, you're turning your PC into an NPC. However, there are still some concerns about passing down your gear from one character to another... That can be seen as abusive if there's no rhyme or reason which is why I'm going to need some clarification.

Mandalorian Armor w/ Crushgaunts and wrist mounted Flamethrowers,

Do you have a link to this? Is it canon mando armour? Or is it customized through the factory? What kind of materials are we looking at: Durasteel, Beskar, Phrik?

If any of these possessions have a factory submission link you need to link them. As well as for canon links, too.

[member="Anja Aj'Rou"] I wasn't aware of the canon linking stipulation, (both of these technologies are canon, and are there for historical basis given that he used them consistently) one moment!

For clarification, only the Gaderffii is going to be passed down to his son (the up and coming PC), and possibly the Crushgaunts... maybe, not sure yet.

It should be noted also that this NPC is not to be used for combat except in extraordinary circumstances, that likely involve protecting his Son on Tatooine, which isn't likely since the Son will be out and about in the Galaxy.

To clarify: Possessions that have functionality like armour, weapons, tech, vehicles, etc need to be linked so we can know how to gauge them as it increases the strengths of an NPC.
If your NPC has a blaster we're going to ask "What kind?" because you could be using a simple DL-44 or some OP semi-unique slugthrower taken from factory. Makes all the difference in the world of whether or not we're judging cannon fodder or an elite.

That said, get those links in and I can review it fully :)

Edit: Derp, I see you did so!

I added this, "Mandalorian Armor (Durasteel, like Jango or Boba Fett)", since there is no real link that I know of. No factory, and just the run of the mill non-beskar Mando armor.

Is this acceptable [member="Anja Aj'Rou"]?

[member="Anja Aj'Rou"] Okay, sorry. I think I have it all covered this time. However, I decided to remove the other slug throwers, and replace it with a Beskad knife, that will be buried with this NPC upon his death looming around the corner.

Alright, after reviewing this submission fully I'm reluctantly approving this. I've never actually judged an NPC submission that's for a PC being shelved but seeing as there's threads and plenty of it for past roleplays I'm going to consider that more than enough to regard most of his skills and possessions.

My main concern is honestly passing down a Beskar item, this is a special circumstance as I'm not experienced with how the rules used to be. That being said this is pending secondary, but the boss might have a few additions, requests, or other thoughts.

I've seen NPCs promoted, but never a PC demoted.

I too will approve this, but I'm going to ask that you use this moderately and wisely. Any reports about misuse will see this being reviewed again.

Approved.
