Hutts Home for Imaginary Lives

"Very well then. I understand and your name shall not be mentioned madam." he said, the words tasting strange as they fell from his lips, and started to escort the group towards Lady Kay's holding cell. After a few minutes the group would arrive, at Lady Kays cell, and Thraxis took a few deep breaths before preparing himself for her presence

"Madam Kay? I have a guest here to speak to you. He is a senator. You do remember, you requested a meeting with one, well as promise." he said, his voice falsifying a sense of genuine sincerity and care, though his eyes allude to the fact that he had little sympathy for her plight. As he finished speaking he pulled out a set of keys and started to pull his hand through them, looking for the key he needed to open the door. After a few seconds he found the necessary key and twisted it into her door cell, slowly pulling the door open to allow the Senate member to enter, though kept himself ready in case the Lady Kay anything up her sleeve.

Kay was nearly asleep. Had it been a couple of days already? She had lost sense of time in her room. Not to mention that her memory was quite cloudy. She figured that she had been here for only a few days. But [member="Thraxis"] had told her otherwise, that she had been there for months, sent by the Republic after something she had done. But she had no memory of what it was. The last she knew, she had been blackmailed into surrendering to an assassin that worked for the Hutts, brought to a slave camp, only to escape with the aid of a friend before getting gassed as they try to get off world. Then she woke up here.

The rustling of the keys and the opening of the door caused her to get up. One sleeve of her one piece hospital gown was missing, after she ripped it's stitching to help her create a weapon. It would've worked too, had Thraxis not talked her down. She eyed [member="Meryn Dupont"] and didn't recognize him at all. But there could've been a lot of changes since she had gone.

"Hello..."

The Senator refrained from letting a smirk reveal itself on his lips. 'The Torturer' took a step back. He probably decided it wasn't worth it, which was most likely a good call. After all, he had called them here. He wanted to get this show on the road, and take a turn in a favourable direction. He nodded, listening to whatever additional information [member="Thraxis"] had to offer, as he explained the conditions and cast of this institution. He had put a lot of effort into this. This must have been important to him. It was likely personal, or just his special brand of twisted amusement. His motivations mattered little to the Senator, however. They all had their motives.

The mannerism of their host changed, and it was a slight reminder to the Senator as well. It was indeed, showtime. As [member="Tmoxin Temi"] spoke, he nodded affirmatively. He was fine with going in alone. "Colleague of yours, secretary of mine. It's all the same to me." he said, truthfully. He knew that in the end, it all was up to him not to kark this up. Tmoxin's presence was a comfort as well as a confidence booster. He knew she had his back, as he had hers.

The moment came when they were to be introduced. Thraxis made his introductions, and the door was opened. In stepped the Senator, giving her a polite nod. His facial expression seemed a mix of that diplomatic politeness, with a hint of sadness. Of course, regardless of the acts she had committed, it was no pleasant experience to see a fellow senator in a mental institution. The future is hard to predict, and one never knows where it will take you. It could happen to the best.

"Hello" he returned, as he reached out a hand to shake hers. He wasn't sure what state [member="Lady Kay"] was in, what he could expect in return. His mannerism suggested he would not be offended if she chose not to shake it. But he would show an inclination to behave politely. He would not avoid her like some disease-ridden plebeian. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure. My name is Corvin Terix, Senator of Krant."

[member="Meryn Dupont"] was dressed in a stark contrast to everyone else that she had seen in this place. It could mean that he was normal, and topping that off with the fact that neither of them knew eachother, well that could only mean good news. She stepped over to him slowly, just a little bit hesitant as she took his hand and gave it a light shake. Normally she'd of given him a firm handshake, but she still wasn't quite sure what would happen. Kay glanced over to [member="Thraxis"] who was no doubt watching the whole thing. Maybe he could see that she didn't belong here anymore.

"Nice to meet you, Senator Terix. I'm sorry that I'm not dressed for the occasion, but I don't know where they put my clothing. All that I've ever had in here is this gown. Have you come to get them to release me and take me back to the Capitol?" She looked at him with her eyes full of hope. She had answered Thraxis' questions and got a Senator to visit her as a sort of reward. Though as neither of them knew eachother, she doubted that the man knew anything about why the Republic would send her here. Just what is it that Thraxis said that she had done and why didn't she remember? Was she even a Senator at all? Or did she just make all of that up too?

He maintained that well-trained, pleasant smile as she shook his hand. "No need to excuse yourself. I understand" he said. He too glanced over at [member="Thraxis"], exhcnaging a long look. His expression was one of sadness, and he tried to convey something along the lines of 'it's that bad, is it?' Corvin turned his eyes back to [member="Lady Kay"], trying to force out a smile though it was clear he was trying to cover up sadness. He had not come here to release her and take her back to the Capitol. "You know I can't do that. Don't you remember what you did?" he tried, with what he imagined might sound like a gentle voice.

She frowned a little and lowered her head a bit as she walked back a few steps. "No...No I don't remember. What I remember and what the Doctor here says happened are two different things." Kay chewed the inside of her cheek a bit. No doubt [member="Meryn Dupont"] would ask about what she had thought happened, but it had nothing to do with the Senate or the Republic. She was on her own mission and was tricked into surrendering. Only to escape with the help of a friend, to only get captured minutes later and waking up here. She wanted to know what she did, but [member="Thraxis"] hasn't told her. "Maybe you could tell me, Senator Terix. It might help me to remember..."
