Kay followed Thraxis into the elevator. As he kept silent, so did she. Or maybe she was just waiting for him to do something while they were in an enclosed space. Those paddings on the wall could be there to protect the walls, rather than the people. But then the ride was over and she stepped out, not even looking back at him as he told her that she had two hours.....Two hours....Sure. Easy to tell the time with nothing to do it with. It wasn't as though she had a datapad or anything.

She cautiously moved around the feeble and the useless. For the moment she couldn't help any of them, especially if she didn't know where she was or what was going on. She had to grasp her own situation first. And find Tiali. It was curious how Thraxis never answered her questions about him.

Cameras were everywhere, not a corner seemed unwatched on this floor as she explored it, going into the cafeteria just to gather a piece of fruit and a few paper napkins. But that was the inside all under surveillance. How about outside? Kay walked over to a door that clearly led outside. She could tell by the windows. As she stepped towards it, the door opened for her, which was surprising as she half expected it to be locked. Cautiously, she walked outside, glancing about to look for danger. But instead of seeing guards running to stop her she saw....grass. Lots of grass and flowers, a couple of other buildings and a great white wall that went way off into the distance.

Kay's feet were bare of both socks and shoes so that she posed as less of a threat to herself and others, yet she still walked out onto the grass. It felt....awesome. It made her feel connected with life and with the Force again. She smiled a little as the sun warmed up her face and body, while a cool breeze blew past her and caused the fabric of her patient's garb ripple with the current.

She took it all in and then started to walk, past the other buildings and over to the wall. Kay placed a hand on it and felt how slick it was. Hmmm. It was very tall too and she wondered what was on the other side, let alone, wondered what planet she was on.

Seconds later, she continued her walk, contemplating over her current situation. Everything seemed so new, yet the patients did not. Everything was so white and clean and Thraxis didn't try to hurt her. He didn't even force her to take those pills. It was very strange. What was his game? Was any of it even real? She followed the wall, glancing up to the turrets and the Hutt guards up in the towers. They were either keeping everyone inside, or keeping others out. Or maybe both...

Kay had no intention of being back in the alotted time. She preferred to do things on her own. Cameras were around, but once she figured that she was far enough away from the buildings and half a kilometre away from the towers, she stopped and looked up the wall. Once again she placed her hands on it to try it out, and once again she noted that it was slick. So there was only one way up. A Force jump. But she had only done it a few times and even then, only managed to get 14 feet in the air. This was much higher. But it was still worth a shot. She closed her eyes and focused on the Force, centering it on her leg muscles. Then she jumped straight up. As she opened her eyes in mid air, she only reached 12 feet before sliding back down again. It wasn't nearly enough. So she tried again, just getting high enough to pass the previous height by half a foot. This was going to take a while. And no doubt someone would probably come to try to stop her. But she was counting on that.....

Thraxis watched as she left the building. Carefully watching every movement she made, and once each other were out of sight, he quickly scurried to where the cameras controls were. It took him a few minutes to get there, it was outside, and he had to make sure Lady Kay never saw him, though he built this place for her and he new every nook and cranny and used these to his advantage. Though little of them there were, it was more so just hedges scarcely placed all over the garden.

As he arrived into the cameras control room, it was underground, and at least a dozen were busy scanning at all the cameras, Thraxis walked through them all, watching carefully each one to make sure none were shirking their duties. As he reached the end he looked to the rest, "Which one of you lot have eyes on Lady Kay right now!" Thraxis bellowed, an authoritative voice taking over his otherwise sadistic voice. Though there was reason. This lot weren't Hutt members, they were Jackals, and the Jackals knew better then to mess with their Second in Command. A young Trandoshan female voice broke out from the group, it trembled when it started to speak, "Yesss boss. I have her in my sightsss." the young one said, her eyes darting back and fourth at the camera. Thraxis steadily approached, his eyes cold and once more. Deranged. "Then you have a two hour break roughly." Thraxis flatly said as he stood behind her, seeing her trembling as she started to scurry out of the room, "And don't forget your damn disguise!" he bellowed once more, making sure no one screwed up this expensive endeavor.

Thraxis quickly sat down on the chair, his hands running across the keyboard to enlarge the Camera on Lady Kay. "Hmmmm... so she can force jump then... interesting. Though not high enough to escape." Thraxis said aloud, next to him a Twi'lek male stood up, "Let me get her sir! I can stop her I promise!" he said, it was almost rusty the way he spoke, which told of his veteran age. "Sit down. We are not breaking the veil." he snapped quickly back, and as quickly as he snapped so did the Twi'lek sit down. "Listen. We observe. We calculate and we decide on optimal steps to take to break her will. It is as simple as that." Thraxis said, a slight grin growing over his face and a crazed chuckle slowly broke out, and evolved into menacing laughter.

Kay had not forgotten about the fruit and napkins that she took earlier. She sat down close to the wall, facing it while she placed the napkins on the ground. Using her body to shield her activity, she squeezed some of the juice onto the napkins. Thankfully there was enough for one. She then collected some saliva and spat onto the napkin, soaking it even further. After putting the fruit in her mouth, she rolled up the went napkin and wrapped it inside the dry one. Then she proceeded to eat the fruit until only a bit of it remained. It was a shame to waste it, but her freedom and that of Tiali's was more important.

Time for one of her tests. Kay got to her feet and wandered over to one of the many cameras along the wall that were watching her and all of the other patients. She unwrapped her wet ball of napkin and tore a piece off. Then she concentrated on the Force, centering it's energies on her leg muscles. Once she felt that she was ready, she jumped, again reaching just fifteen feet. But as she reached the top of her jump, she threw the ball of wet napkin at the lens. Due to the juice and her saliva, it stuck. Smiling as she landed, she repeated the process a few more times at three other cameras. It took about seven minutes, but she didn't really worry about time. This was all just a test.

In the middle of what she hoped was a blindspot, she jumped fifteen feet up in the air with the aid of the Force and then threw the piece of fruit up over the wall to the other side. After landing, she sat down, back against the wall and listened. If any creatures guarded the other side, she'd find out. And if she was being watched as closely as she thought that she might, she'd find out about that too. All of that jumping and landing caused her bare feet to be a bit sore, so she massaged them while she looked towards the compound. One advantage to it being so large was that she didn't need to get to high ground to view it all. But that alone wasn't enough to answer her questions about where she was.

Thraxis was patient with her shenanigans. He watched carefully as she started to consume her food, though paid little heed to it. She hadn't eaten in a long time, and it was not shocking to see her eating anything. Though he would have thought she would have taken more caution. After she finished he watched as she started to put napkins on his cameras and cover up his line of sight. Thraxis let out a loose grin, "Clever girl." he mumbled, offering a rare case of praise to someone outside The Jackals or the Cartel.

He listened to the audio on the camera, hearing her feet thud on the ground, it helped Thraxis know if she was escaping or not. "Ok, we got a few things I want readied. First of all, I want someone at the Heli-pad on constant alert from now on. Clearly she wont be escaping over the wall at this rate. Second I want someone to get me a radio to someone on that part of the wall. And last of all, in Fifteen Minutes, I want someone to go get Lady Kay. And for gods sakes at least try and act or get one of the actors to do it, try and make it seem like she has been at this for well over three hours. She doesn't have any concept of time I would assume. And lastly clean the cameras of the napkins. Understood?" Thraxis said, looking to everyone with a stern look that spoke more words then what he just said by the cold pierce that it gave them. "I said Understood!" he asserted, "Yes Sir!" the rest responded scurrying about to go and do what they were told to do.

Soon a Device was brought to Thraxis to allow him direct communication to the wall, "Soldier! Do you have visuals on lady Kay Currently? And I swear if your the wrong one, I am going to tear all of someones hair out and use it to strangle them!" Thraxis said, it had been over a few minutes trying to narrow down which Soldier could see her, "Uh-huh, yeah I can see her." the soldier said in a nonchalant voice, "Good! I want you to keep me constantly updated on the situation, understood?" Thraxis said to the soldier, his own voice showing frustration at the attitude of the soldier. "Yep, whatever ya want done boss." the soldier said once more in that same nonchalant voice. Thraxis quickly turned to look back at the camera, though he didn't see anything he did hear her, "Well then. Lets see what clever tricks you have up your sleeve this time." Thraxis muttered, before quickly returning back to the communication device to remain constantly updated.

Silence. At least there didn't seem to be any noise coming from the other side of the wall anyways. That was a good thing. Kay looked up at the wall as she thought that she had heard voices up there. Probably some of the guards talking about her.

Time for the second test. Looking to the dirt in front of her, she started to sing softly to cover the sound a bit as she dug with her hands, looking for a good sized rock.

https://youtu.be/F3hTW9e20d8

Normally she wouldn't raise her voice in song where others could hear her, but maybe they weren't listening at all. When the song was over she had found what she needed, a rock the size of her hand. It wasn't round or sharp, but it was still perfect.

Kay then turned to face the wall again as she removed her top. She turned it inside out and began biting into the stitching that attached the sleeve. Once it was started, it was easy to pull the rest of the stitching off and remove it without tearing it. After that was done she flipped the shirt back and then put it back on.

As she turned around she saw someone approaching from a distance. Her two hours must be up. Kay tied a knot in the end of the sleeve and then dropped the rock in. She twisted the fabric tight and tied another knot to secure the rock in place. Now she had a swinging weapon that she hid behind her back while her potential hostage was on their way....

A young male Weequay would approach Lady Kay, he was dressed in Nurse attired, with the key hidden beneath his shirt, "Lady Kay, your time is up. It is time to come back and begin our interview again." the Weequay said, his eyes looking towards he though quickly darted towards her, he was looking puzzled as to what she was hiding behind her back. "Uhhh... Madam, are you hiding something from me?" thee Weequay said, puzzled as to what Lady Kay could be hiding behind her back.

Thraxis was listening to the audio on the camera, if it wasn't blinded by the napkin he could tell the 'Nurse' what Lady Kay was hiding, he quickly got onto his communicator, "Soldier, what is it she has behind her back." Thraxis said in a hurried tone, he was anxious, he knew she couldn't make much but he knew just how resourceful Lady Kay was. The soldier didn't hurry to give a response, , "Nuh. To small to see from up hear boss." it said lackadaisically, "Well. Unless it is something that can kill don't shoot her. We don't want this illusion broken." Thraxis said back, undertones of frustration being apparent.

She tightened her grip on the sleeve as the 'nurse' approached, watching him as closely as he was watching her. "Is it time to go already?" At his question on what she was hiding, Kay replied in an obviously fake sheepish manner, "I don't know how, but my sleeve ripped, so I pulled it off and..." she held it out for him to see. A split second later she leapt at him, swinging the rock end around the Weequay's neck and then moving herself behind him as she tightened her hold. It wasn't enough to block his airway, but it was enough that could be deemed threatening. "....now you are going to help me get out of here, but first...Where is Tiali? If I think that you are lying, then so help me I will tighten my grip...."

Kay felt strange acting this way, but she needed answers. And at least this way she wasn't hurting anyone. Only the threat of it was there. Hopefully it would be enough to scare the Weequay into talking.

Thraxis continued to listen to the audio on the cameras, he had no idea what she was planning but soon it was over when the soldier communicated with him, "Oh man! She like. She like is totally chocking a dude!" the soldiers voice proclaimed, its voice had taken a sudden shift from boredom to excitement, "Damn it! Thats it, I have to get her myself then I suppose." Thraxis yelled, he quickly shot up and got dressed, "Get me some sedatives. Damn woman just cant relax." Thraxis continued as he started to storm out as he was pulling the clothing on to his body.

Thraxis started to storm out of the room, heading towards lady Kays location, he quickly pulled out a communication device and opened a com-link to all the 'Staff', "Get Lady Kays room ready. And get your best impersonations on, she has attacked a staff member and I need us to be ready." Thraxis said in an authoritative voice as a member of the staff started to walk towards Thraxis and gave him a kit with a medical kit with Sedative needles. "There you go sir." the young man said, before he quickly rushed back into the hospital and got ready for Lady Kay.

The Weequay was being pulled back and knew he could not respond with violence, though the desire to drop her was tempting he went with the ploy, "Wh... He is on floor Two. Please don't hurt me... I just work here..." the Weequay responded, trying his best to not tug against her force. Soon the Weequay was relieved when Thraxsi arrived, "Mrs.Kay! What are you doing assaulting members of the staff! We are only here to help you!" he said, he indulged in showing her some rage, though still had to push back against showing her his true self. "Now put him down. I do not want to hurt you Mrs.Kay. Your situation is hopeless. Look at the walls, the soldiers are looking at you. If we wanted to hurt you they would have done so a long time ago." Thraxis continued, looking to her with demanding eyes, slowly his hand moved into his medical equipment, pulling out a single sedative, if she felt like fighting back, Thraxis was confident that he could handle her.

"I don't want to hurt anybody and I don't want to stay here either. I want to be free and have Tiali set free too."

Once Thraxis arrived and got closer she stepped back along the wall. She didn't want to have her back to it. "Help me? I don't need help. I need my freedom. And Tiali's too!" Kay quickly glanced at one of the towers with the mention of the soldiers watching her. True, they haven't hurt her yet, but there was too much firepower for any normal hospital. She then turned her attention back to Thraxis as he reached for the sedative. "Put that down....and then step away, please. Don't you understand? I just want to go home...And if you keep me for too long, then the Republic will come looking.."

Though she couldn't scale the walls yet, she had managed already to do things that they didn't expect. Their reactions gave her a good enough reason to believe that. "It is never hopeless..."

Thraxis heard her words and took them into consideration, it was clear that with those last words that her sense of hope was not dwindling fast enough. He started to concentrate his thoughts, weaving depression and hopelessness together and began to project it onto Lady Kay. One of the few advantages of a Zeltron is that they can do this, though they are all still scum.

He continued to project onto Lady Kay, all the while he started to speak, with slight undertones of misery in his voice, "Mrs.Kay, we don't want you to stay here any longer then you need to. We want everyone to have freedom, but actions like this.... these are what makes you stay here. We have tried to help you for so very long. And this republic you speak of. Have you forgotten what happened so long ago with them? How you betrayed them. They are the reason your here. They want to help you get better." Thraxis responded, the undertones of misery helping enforce a false sense of genuine care into his words, though only because they were a side effect of forcing those emotions onto Lady Kay.

Thraxis waited for a response. he knew that such shocking information could change her, and with the despair that he just projected onto Lady Kay, it likely wouldn't be too hard to make her snap. Thraxis started to grip the sedative in his hand, looking to her with saddened eyes, he started to move slowly towards Lady Kay,readying the needle in case she doesn't submit.

Kay furrowed her brows as he spoke, her grip loosening on the Weequay as she started to feel weighted down by his words. She didn't have any memories of what he spoke of. And it was confusing, yet why was she feeling so bad? It wasn't guilt so she couldn't of done anything wrong, could she of?

"I don't remember any of what you say. I...I just got here yesterday. And I know that the Republic wanted to investigate me, but I had done nothing wrong....I allowed them to do it."

He seemed just so....genuine. Was he telling the truth? But she would remember, wouldn't she? And if she did what he said, would he really let her go?

She almost felt like giving up just then, but then she thought of Tiali and how once again the subject of him was being avoided. Was he even real? Was any of it? Was she a Senator at all, or was that just her imagination too? The thoughts rolled around and around in her head. She was confused and she didn't like the lack of control over her own mind.

Kay started to back up, bringing the Weequay with her. "....I would never...I would never betray those around me....I don't like to hurt people. I shouldn't even be here!" She then released the hold on the Weequay and shoved him towards Thraxis, hoping that the needle would end up in the nurse instead of her. "I'm tired of the run-around! Where is Tiali?! What did you do to him?!"

Kay felt as though she was grasping at straws, tears threatened to flow from her desperation to believe that what she remembered was true. Yet she felt as though she might lose this battle, as her own mind seemed to have betrayed her.

Thraxis continued to project emotions onto Lady Kay, he knew that with these cracks he could make them become fissures in her psyche. And when there are fissures, he can get what he needs. "You seriously have no memory do you? You used the force to manipulate Tiali, you made him think he was some hotshot bounty hunter, rather then your Private Doctor. But you over time seemingly manipulated him and his nurse. The poor nurse was so traumatized by the events she was moved to another hospital but I suppose you wouldn't even remember any of that would you. And the Republic? Who do you think is paying for your stay here. You betrayed them and attacked their high up members. They want you to get better. And every time I feel like we get close, you just break down and destroy all the hard work." Thraxis yelled, he let that facade of remorse continue, though now he mixed it with despair and the slightest hint of rage. He saw the Weequay get pushed towards him, and managed to grab him with his left arm. Making sure the needle remained in his hand and ready to go.

"Your little rebellion, it took so much money to try and restore order. You had orchestrated quite the performance. You made all those her think they were slaves and we were giving them drugs to keep them suppressed, rather then trying to help them. Do you want a play by play? Here is how it went. Tiali signed off of work so he could have the day off, so I came to give you your medication. Then I was blindsided by him after I was told that there was a mutiny, you, Tiali and the nurse all tried to escape." Thraxis said, it was a mouthful to say the least, and to his dismay he still had a bit left to go. "But luckily, Cadan intervened and drugged yous and took yous back to your cells. The nurse was so traumatized by the situation when she heard it she was sent to another hospital, Tiali still thinks he is some hotshot and you have now convinced yourself that you're a prisoner of this ward." he finally said, it was hard to keep the lie all together but he knew he would have to say this for a while. And damn did it feel good to know that the final nail had just been placed.

Thraxis started continued to place emotions onto Lady Kay, but now he added acceptance to the mix, he didn't want to take any chances. He wanted to make sure she broke and that he wouldn't need to jump through any more hoops.

Kay just continued to back up a bit as he spoke, shaking her head as she couldn't recall anything outside of what she thought was the truth. "No...I saw you...You killed slaves in front of me...You threw their bodyparts at me..." Those words sounded bizarre coming out of her mouth, but it was what she remembered. If what he said was true, why didn't she remember it? All that she knew was that she wanted escape, to run from everything she felt and then maybe she'll feel better.

"I need proof....I don't even know where I am.....or how I got here...Or for how long." She stopped and dropped to her knees then, holding her head with her weapon hanging in her hand still as tears started to roll down her cheeks. "....I just want to go home....That's all....I just want to go home..."

Everything that he had said just seemed so out of her nature, yet plausible at the same time. She wracked her brain as she tried to find any memories to coincide with what he had said, but she couldn't find any. Why could she not remember? What had happened to cause her to lose it? If she did what he said, would he let her go? Did she still have a home to go back to? What would she have to do to get there? Anything was better than a cell, better than being here. Maybe there was hope for her yet. "I want to remember what you say
..if it's true I should remember..." All that she remembered was Thraxis being a sadistic and twisted individual, but this Doctor Thraxis displayed none of those traits. "..Why don't I remember?"

Thraxis looked to her. He never interrupted he just waited to hear her words poor out. All the while he continued to project the same emotions onto her. Depression. Hopelessness. These were the emotions he choose to enforce upon her, and all the while he listened and let the last words drop from her mouth.

"Why don't you remember. That is what we have continued to ask you. But every time you dismissed it. And do you want to know why?" he said as he took time to prepare his next words, "Because of this idea of freedom that you have constantly grasped onto. You have never been able to accept anything in your life that could hold you back. The laws are there to keep you safe. Yet you joined the republic so you could get rid of all the rules and be free. And when all that desire to be free is mixed with a unhealthy amount of hope, well. You show us what happens." Thraxis ended. He looked at her with depressed eyes, still a side effect of all the emotions he had been projecting onto her. He looked down to the needle and then back to Lady Kay. If she continued to want to resist, he would be forced to inject her.

With the way he was speaking, it was as though she had been there for years. But how long has it been? She couldn't remember. Her memories of the hospital only go as far back as this morning. Other than that she had been elsewhere, on different worlds, freeing slaves, battling evil, helping her friends and voting in the Senate.

She stared at the grass by Thraxis' feet as he spoke. Yet when he spoke of the Republic and breaking free from rules, she looked up. "What do you mean? The Republic has laws and rules. You guys break them because you are not governed by them....And I was free, until you caught me. It's not as though I was born here or spent most of my life here."

She sighed and lowered her head again. "I miss being able to go where I wanted. I miss being free. I want to be free.....But you'll never let me go, will you? So why should I do what you say, if you are trying to tell me that there is no hope for me?"

Was it fruitless? No matter what she did, would it have the same outcome? That she'd be stuck in here forever? No wonder everywhere was so guarded to prevent death. It could be the only way to escape this cage....

Ash glanced over at [member="Tiali Orazio"], biting her bottom lip. She hated seeing him like this. She didn't want to see him like this. She looked away, her blue eyes going unfocused. She didn't understand what was happening. She didn't understand why Tiali had to be thrown in here with [member="Lady Kay"]. [member="Thraxis"] had a twisted mind to come up with this contraption just to get rid of the Cartel's enemies. Then again, he was part of the Cartel. Ash had seen much worse and gruesome during her life in it.

She looked back at Tiali, trying to keep the pain from her eyes. Silently, she shook her head before closing the door of his cell in his face. Then she turned and walked away. "I'm sorry, Tiali." She muttered, not knowing if he heard her or not. She had to talk to Thraxis.

She found him having a deep conversation with the prisoner. Judging by how it was going, Ashalah could tell it had gone on for awhile. And there was a needle next to him. It made her wonder what drug he was going to give her, and if he was going to inject Tiali with it too. She cleared her throat. "Doctor," she began, fitting into the ruse that Thraxis had assigned. "Once you are finished with the patient, I would like a word."

Thraxis continued to lock eyes with Lady Kay, she was not understanding the situation, it showed Thraxis how determined she was to live a free life. "Do you not hear what words you speak. You want freedom. You desired it too such a sickening degree that you done anything to grasp it and break all the rules. No rule could suppress you. because everything there to protect you from others you ignored and went about your business." Thraxis said, he was still weaving a projectile of emotions onto lady Kay, and it was starting to become a tad painful, he never used this before, and it will definitely take its tole when he is finished.

As Thraxis was speaking Ashalah approached him, he was not aware she was behind him, he was too busy with Lady Kay, though her voice garnered his attention he turned, still forcing himself to project his emotions. As he turned he broke his facial features and his face turned sour, his lips twisting into a sick sadistic grin and his eyes speaking of the rage that was fighting with childish joy, "Yes, yes, we can talk about whichever patient it is you wish to talk about. Meet me at my office, we can talk there though I don't know how long I will be. We both know we have never gotten this far with Mrs.Kay and I plan on seeing if we can finally make her see reason.

Kay rubbed her temples and then the bridge of her nose. She was starting to get a headache. As he spoke to Ash, she thought about what he had said. According to Thraxis, she desired freedom so much that she broke the rules to try to gain it. But what rules did she break? And who were they to protect her from? How long had she been here? Who put her here?...The questions were endless....

She continued to rub her temples and forehead as she stared at the grass. Some of the Republic rules she broke, yes. Or rather, bent them to a degree. But she spoke to the Minister of Intelligence about some of it and she thought that it was okay and that she was fine. But maybe that wasn't the case.

"I....I thought that what I was doing was for the good of others. Yes working with the enemy is wrong, but it's no different than working as a spy for the Republic and having to befriend one of the enemies in order to gain intel. Only for me it was in rescuing people and giving them lives without oppression and slavery. I have gained allies everywhere because of it."

Yet she has gained enemies as well. Not everyone liked what she was doing. But there were those that liked to control others. And taking away their hopes and dreams was one way to do that.

Thraxis had grown tired of the conversation, and weaving all the emotions was growing tiresome and starting to Drain him, "Clearly you only want to go around in circles and not listen to anyone else. But I suppose that is part of the freedom complex. You likely see it as oppressing you." he responded before sprinting towards Lady Kay, the needle in hand and ready to pierce her skin. He looked to her and grabbed her and pinning her to the ground before pushing the needle into her skin. "Shhh. It is time to rest now." Thraxis whispered, it was a thin veil of care that he uttered to help with the lie that he had been forced to weave.

Once Thraxis was certain that she was asleep he looked to one of the Nurses, "Take the trash back to her room. I need to get back to my office." Thraxis said as he breathed a breath of fresh air, his eyes contorted back to rage, and his tongue started to let loose profanity. After a few minutes of letting loose his rage he began to walk back to his room and away Ashalah for whatever it was she wished to talk to him about. Though he had no doubt it would be about Tiali.
