SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Increases the user’s want or greed, driving them to the point of insanity.

  • Amplifies eccentric behaviors associated with pride and greed within the user.

  • Users may experience moderate to severe headaches every three to four days, this increases the longer the person is exposed to the crystal / uses it as a lightsaber crystal.

  • Generates a three foot (.91 meters) radius boosting dark sided desires.

  • Allows the user to channel those desires, recycling those energies into their own force energies.

  • The greedier the person becomes, the more violent and unstable they become.

  • Users become distraught, and unable to sleep when they have not yet obtained the object or person of their desire.

  • Once the object or person of the user’s desire has been obtained they may experience a temporary boost in power. However, this is temporary as a greedy person is never satisfied and will go to extreme lengths to satisfy these urges.

  • When used as a lightsaber crystal, breaks if user turns to the light or is otherwise separated from the crystal.

  • When the user continues to feed the greed, the greed then empowers the crystal strengthening the bond with the user while also increasing the heat within the blade that may burn to the point of losing cohesion.

Strengths:

  • It’s a Sin: Greed is a sin, and as such the one who wields this crystal in their saber may feed off those energies from those who are next to them.

  • Jingle, Jangle, Jingle: Users may feel a temporary boost of power once they’ve satisfied their greed.

  • That Lucky Old Sun: As a result of feeding their greed, the user’s lightsaber will increase the intensity in which the lightsaber burns, to the point of losing cohesion.
Weaknesses:

  • Kick in the Head: While the user’s greed or want is increased, and their eccentric behaviors amplified they may experience a severe to moderate headache while exposed to the crystal / if used as a lightsaber crystal.

  • Blue Moon: When the crystal becomes separated from the user via alignment or otherwise, the crystal will break

  • Mad About the Hutt: Crystal may drive the user insane as headaches increase in severity and occur more frequently, lose sleep when unable to obtain that which they desire.

  • Day Tripper: As the user becomes more greedy, they become more unstable, paranoia and jealousy often pairing to drive them into fits of violently blind rage.

  • The World We Knew: Crystal can be crushed by sheer weight it is fragile in this sense.
Bonded:

  • Creates a bond with the user when placed as a lightsaber crystal.

DESCRIPTION
Found on Nal Hutta near what had been the Rustyards, beneath the old swamps where pipes ached and groaned with age. Laid the remnants of ages past hidden found on one the last legs of Mishel’s initial trip around the galaxy. The crystal began its afflictions the closer Mishel got to it, her mind felt not of her own and the dark feelings that swirled sickened her. But she wanted the crystals, and it was almost as if it called to her. Luring her closer, taking a few samples with her she headed out but still the ones that remained kept their call.

They wanted her to take them all, Mishel shut her eyes and focused. By this point she had become somewhat experienced with these dark crystals. Ones that begat emotions such as desire, fear or anger. She focused her attention on Jorus and Alkor pushing her way back to them both with the small orange crystals in hand. She’d eventually study them again but in a safer environment in the Outer Rim. Here she was able to take apart one of the samples and input into a test saber, one that had endured many lightsabers and there she began to learn of what it could and couldn’t do.
