She took the chip, and briefly stood up to pass it out of the cell. Instructing the soldier to have it analyzed in an isolated system. That way if there was a virus in it it wouldn’t disable anything they needed and only the system trying to analyze it.

Then she returned to sitting across from him. “Alright. I don’t fully trust you. But I will give you a chance to prove what you tell me is true. If you have any information to give us, then I would ask that you give it.”

Sen took a deep breath, his dark bangs falling over one of his glowing eyes.
"I will give you the intel I have uncovered if you in turn give me something."
He was negotiating, and this was his chance to broach the subject.
"What I desire is to speak to you about that feeling you had.. that trust.."

The Jedi Sentinel had learned to bargain from the Hutts. He continued to look at her with his turquoise eyes, seeing her without his mask, she was more vibrant and beautiful.

She leaned back in her seat, and crossed her arms. “What about it?”

She didn’t like that he was able to catch on to her feelings so easy. She should have expected it from a force user. But that didn’t make it any better, and it made her wary. Because she knew he’d know just what to say to convince her of something.

The Jedi seeing her disposition decided to re-arrange things.
"I forget myself.. I shall give you the intel now, if you will set me free, return my belongings, and I can speak to one one last matter of which I have already alluded."
He had been to eager, perhaps it was the removal of his mask. When he wore it he was more circumspect and was better at being less impulsive. He threw his hands over his face instinctively. His glowing eyes flickering beneath his fingers. He had come to depend on his anonymity, the mask. Few had seen his face, and he hoped to minimize many more seeing him.

She shook her head. “That cannot be done. If I let you out and you’re lying to me, then we’ll have a hard time stopping you from doing any damage. And if you’re trying to be a spy for the Hutt, you could likely see everything and get out before we could stop you.”

“If I let you out before you are confirmed trustworthy, you could jeopardize the whole thing. And we’re already having to do things the hard way because you didn’t kill Kublai when you should have.”

Hold up his hands, the cuffs came off and rolling, fell to the floor.
"My power I could use at any moment as I have just demonstrated. However, since I need to establish some good faith. I kept Kublai alive to obtain information. What I gleaned from a ledger was that one of the Rings is on Corellia, and that there is prominent figure there that is one of the big fish.. that there are many big fish in this wicked trade. The person of interest is Soren Morvan, who has.. ties to Senators even. The Well of villainy it seems is deeper than the Hutts.. they are only one cog of a much more insidious operation. If you want to confirm what I have told you, head to Corellia, and find him. I would aid you in this, pledging my saber to this end. Though you have to decide if you will trust me once more."

He leaned forward, looking her in the eyes,
"I know that I have given you reason to distrust me.. I apologize for deceiving you regarding Kublai, though I did so with the best intentions. We are on the same side.."
He then leaned back resting his shoulders as he let what he had divulged rest with her. She already was thinking he was a double agent for the Hutts, which meant that what he proposed was probably going to be scrutinized and even perhaps discarded. He understood, she had a passion, a personality that he recognized at once even in her cover as a Server. The Sith taught Passion was strength, and the Jedi taught that it was a path to the dark side. He felt otherwise, passion was natural aspect of life, it was not purview of any one order, it was the nature of all sentients irrespective of a deep connection to the Force and devotion to the varying philosophies of the orders.

She watched him carefully, especially as the cuffs were suddenly removed. She had half expected it, but that didn’t change the fact that it was done. And she never stopped watching him. Always ready in case he tried something. Even if she knew that she would lose should he really try anything.

She took a few moments to think. Then finally she stood up, “I will speak with my superiors. It is no longer my call to trust you.”

With that she stepped out of the cell. “Keep a close eye on him. Make sure he doesn’t go anywhere. I’ll be back.”

The soldiers stationed outside voiced affirmation. And then she left. Sure to be back soon.

Her voice was stern and brimming with confidence, she was quite different from the persona among the Hutts. He should have known, that was all an act, just as his deep cover required him to be something he was not, a criminal. As she made it clear that it was now up to her High Council, he gave a nod, and she left. Taking his legs he bent them as he pulled them up on the bunk and began to meditate. He felt the Force swirl around him as his eyes closed. He began to seek, and in that state he found memory. He was back on Tattooine, among the Tuskans and he saw her, near the Well, her clothes air tight and a belly ripe with life inside. Walking past the Raiders in their tan robes, and masks that helped keep moisture, he came to her and offering his hand which she took.
"Sen.."
He then took her in his arms, and said,
"I am keeping my promise Tamar.. I will do all in my power to prevent more suffering.. to prevent what happened to you and our people."
In the cell tears began to drop from his closed eyes, and then levitate into the air around his head like drops of rain.

Immediately upon leaving she left straight for the bridge of the frigate. “Helmsman bring us to Naggarond.” Was her only order, before making her way to the Comm unit. She needed to speak with her commanders about this, and deliver them the information she had gathered.

They already had some information on things happening on Corellia. Though they were still looking for more details to actually identify where it was and what exactly was happening. This discussion would take some time. And they would arrive on their homeworld while they spoke for resupply.

He would feel the ship land, and a few minutes later Alexa would come back to him. Opening the door and stepping in to again sit across from him.

“The brass has decided to trust you.” She sighed. “You will be watched. But for now we will see if what you say about Corellia is true.”

The Mando Jedi was still mourning when he heard footsteps, and he opening his eyes, the drops of tears fell and landed. He took his hand and wiped away the signs of his grief, when She stepping inside told him news that was rather a shock to him.
"I shall repay their trust and yours with results. I know that we desire the same thing, the end to the trafficking of souls."
He gave a sigh of relief. He wanted to discuss with her that feeling she had, that had made her trust him. But he felt the timing was not right. He needed to establish some good will before getting into subtitles of the Force. In his eagerness he had forgotten that telling someone they had a connection to the Sorcery was not something you sprang on them, if that could be helped. Many in the galaxy had grown to resent the power that Jedi and the Sith wielded, a faction known as The Elders of the Path even were seeking to snuff it out like Darth Traya had attempted to many eons ago. Whatever one felt about the mystical field, it usually was strong feelings either in favor or disfavor, only a few like smugglers and Hutts had an apathy towards it till they saw the miracles and malice that manifested by those who use it.

Looking at her he said,
"How should I address you in front of your comrades? Do you have a rank I should acknowledge?"
This was subtle way for him to learn her true namesake, for he was certain by his senses and the cover she had among the Hutts that Phoebe was not it.

She shook her head in annoyance, “you will be accompanying me and a small team to investigate this ring you mentioned.”

She stood up and went to the door. “Bring me his helmet and lightsaber.”

While that was being done she turned to him and answered his query. “I am Captain Alexa Keel.”

One of soldiers brought him his Sacred Robes, which he put on, then his mask which he sealed to his face. Having his helm one once more restored that confidence, and as the lightsaber hilt was handed to him he held it and pressed it to his metallic forehead before clipping the weapon and symbol of his devotion to the Order and The Light to his belt.

It is an honor Captain Keel.

Her chilled tone was to be expected. The Hutt fiasco he could tell Would be fissure between them for the forseeable future. His only tools to thaw it was this op to Corellia and catching a key player in the Ring. As a Jedi he had instincts, but he let this Outfit decide how they would approach finding Soren. He was not about to contravene the way they do things. He simply needed to get to Corellia and begin following the breadcrumbs to catch Soren. It would not be easy, and he had no idea if Dread reported him dead to Kublai. If the Hutt learned he was a Jedi, theu could expect bounty hunters would be coming all the way to Life Day…

This would likely be the case. If Kublai learned of his existence. And if Kublai survived long enough to put such bounties up.

She responded to his statement with, “Don’t make me regret this. I was in enough trouble the first time around.”

So she began to lead him through the halls of the frigate, and down the gangway out into the facility they were landed on.

“You will be accompanying me to Corellia. And I will verify whatever leads you give me.” She told him as they approached a small corvette vessel, that appeared to be a civilian grade vehicle. Clearly meant for undercover work. “Tell me whatever you can en route.”

The Jedi shadowed his new Captain, taking her orders as if they were from the Jedi Council itself. He followed her though the Frigate, heading down to a hangar when she remarked about trusting him again,
"I will, my deeds will speak for me.. they will prove your trust to be sound."
He wanted to reassure her, but what he had just said was the truth, words were words, it was actions, results alone that would convince her, not anything he said. He was becoming reticent once more, keeping his tongue bridled, for he sensed she preferred that at the moment, a lot of tension between them.

He gave nod to her orders that he must confirm things with her and give her any pertinent intel about Soren and what they were going to be heading into. He had gleaned quite a bit of info on him and the ring he ran, though he knew it was only one of threads of this web, and that to get the whole thing would require a lot of work. Still it was better that he had an ally in Alexa, someone as zealous as he to tear down this trafficking, he had to admit that that made her all the more attractive than she already was, though he buried these feelings deep down, focusing on the mission.

They would board a civilian grade corvette vessel, and take off for the world of Corellia. The hyperdrive would bring them into hyperspace, and they would remain there for a few hours, allowing them plenty of time to talk.

Alexa would remain at the helm, ready to bring them into atmosphere. Though she would question him about what they could expect on the planet.

Specifically she was asking where on the planet they would need to begin their search. He was, after all, the one with the information.

Sen stood up and crossing his arms watched on the screen as the stars like stripes flew past.
"There is a peace in hyperspace.. no future, no past.. only the here and now. As a Jedi I aim to achieve that even outside of the hyperlanes, though I admit it is easier when you are neither leaving nor arriving as hyperspace affords."
His words addressing Alexa Keel who there on the bridge of Corvette Class ship as they headed to Corellia.
"I am waxing philosophy, I am sure you prefer more intel. There is an Informat on Corellia, who knows where The Big Fish is. We need to meet with him in next six hours. I have already sent a signal. Failure to do so and we will be without a lead on the location of the target."
Sen hoped that he could regain her trust on this mission, though in truth, he needed to remember his training to be a Rock, so he began to shut down his feelings that had been stirred for her among The Hutts. He needed to focus on the mission, why he was a Jedi Shadow. He immediately shifting his hands together began to banish his personal feelings, and became as vessel for the justice he so hoped to bring on this mission.

She listened to him do exactly that. Wax philosophy. It certainly sounded like something a Jedi would say, and that little part of her that urged her to trust him wasn’t leaving. If anything it had grown more insistent, telling her not only to trust this man, but to ease up on him, to get to know him, to be his friend. And she had NO IDEA WHY!

He would feel this pull too. And he would know that she felt this pull. She had to consciously try to guard herself against trusting him. As it stood, he would tell that she was, perhaps without knowing it, resisting being pulled by the force in a certain direction. She was… in a way… resisting the force’s will.

“We will arrive on the planet in three. We will have plenty of time.” She told him as they flew through hyperspace. “Do you know who this informant is? Or has their identity remained anonymous.”

Sen sensed it, he could feel her feelings which The Force was stirring as he spoke. If he had been a different man, he would have exploited this, and tried to manipulate her and gain some favor. He chose a different path, he would not violate her free will, that was not the Jedi Way, nor The Way, he wanted to gain trust through deeds, and that was this mission, to help disturb the trade in souls. He could feel Great Mystery was calling to her, knocking gently, and he did not want to interrupt and perhaps cause her to shut that down. Too many eager Masters seeing potential, seeing some Sensitivity hastily tried to guide a Sensitive and the result more often than not was they walked away from learning anything about The Force. It was important to respect the slow steps, to give someone like Alexa Keel time to consider and learn on her own that something was there.

The Jedi Shadow felt close to her once more, this sharing of the Sorcery through feelings. Though he said not a word about it, he simply responded to her query about the Informat,
"They are anonymous for reasons you can understand, should they be caught by those involed in this invidious ring, death would be the better fate for them. I am assured however, of a way to identity them."
He drew close to her and pulling out from his sleeve was a ring of onyx with a gem of amber, in the amber was tusk.
"This is how they will know we are to be trusted at the rendezvous point. If you wish you may take it and be the main point of contact."
He was pleased that she seemed a little less miffed at him, though he knew not killing The Hutt was going to be sore point for them for a while. He could not convince her that his course of action was why they were even on this mission at all, to effect real change, and he decided it was not important to prove his reasoning was sound, what mattered is what they were going to do, together.

She nodded as she listened to him. “It makes sense. I myself would absolutely want to keep my identity as secret as possible in their place. I know exactly how these people operate, so I will not hold their caution against them. If anything it’s to their credit.”

She looked at the ring offered and shook her head. “Chances are they are expecting you. I won’t make them rethink things by giving them a strange face to meet with. Besides you know what to expect from them, so you should be the one to meet with them.”

Sen holding the ring then pocketed it once more at her behest. Her tone seemed less harsh and she was showing some trust by letting him be the one to speak to the Informat.
"To live in the shadows is.. a burden, though one I have gladly chosen. "for it is there we must do battle." (M, Skyfall).

He then brought up something that was on his mind,
"When this Big Fish is caught and I assume exstinguished. What then? Will you be hunting down the others? How far do you intend to go down the well of criminals?"

He knew his own answer to this, being a Jedi Shadow his life would be thus. Finding ways to stir the pots, and make those who thought they were invincible, realize that there is only no death in The Force.
