Private Huttbusting

The decoy ship, loaded only with the pilot droid and the already deceased bodies of criminals to leave behind remains to be found, was now destroyed. This ensured that they were not suspected of surviving. That way they could rely on their virus without fear of being discovered.

Alexa emerged from the restroom now fully clothed in her uniform, and stretched. Popping the kinks in her neck and back from the day. Another mission in the bag. She set aside the collar and the outfit she wore. She liked to keep mementos of her missions, and these would definitely serve to make an entertaining story for her little sister when next they spoke. Holly Starstorm would most certainly double over laughing to know that her elder sister had gone and learned how to dance, and especially that she’d worn THAT while doing so.

She smiled in amusement at the thought, before making her way to the ship’s comm station. She activated the communicator, and her superior was already waiting in the other side, to whom she then gave a debrief, informing him of what had been done.

It would be a couple of months later when something came up. Sen’s progress with the Hutt was slow, the Hutts were not a trusting people, and they were happy to take their time elevating people. Even as a new guard for Kublai, Sen wasn’t exactly in his inner circle just yet. And more often he was out carrying out bounties, roughing up competition and otherwise doing what mobsters did.

But then one day he was summoned along with many other bounty hunters and soldiers of the Hutts. Kublai had a job for them.

In Huttese, as most Hutts preferred to speak, the slug would address the bounty hunters that had answered his call.

“Greetings! And thank you all for coming. I have no time to stand on ceremony today, I have business to attend to and this is an equally urgent matter. There have been major disruptions to our operations in the last two months, and all of them have been all too successful. We’ve lost eight of our supervisors in these past two months, five dead and three arrested. And so far we have been unable to have them released. Someone has been undoing our operations and it must end.”

As the Hutt spoke their protocol droid pulled up a schematic, a map of what appeared to be a warehouse complex on a desert moon a few systems over. “Your task is to set up here however you see fit, and guard the merchandise. We have diverted a large amount of our resources to this place, so these people who are after us are sure to take the bait. Kill anyone who isn’t supposed to be there. And you will be handsomely rewarded.”

Sen arrived on an outfitted LAAT drop ship. Aboard was Dread, and The Trando with the turrent, and handful of Kublia's top marksmen, one was Duros with that turqouise blue skin and big crimson eyes, with pipes coming out of his neck. He wore a ten gallon hat, and sat by himself, two Westar blasters with their signature chrome barrels that extended out and compact side. Sen concentrated, he had his gaderiffi stick and his own blaster, an IB-94, that had a ebony muzzle and a fine wood handle of yellow. The Jedi Mando had been in deep cover for months, and had become one of the group, even Dread who had mistreated him had begun to respect the one he nicknamed, "Tusky."
Dread stepping forward with his long dreadlocks of black said,
"Listen up.. the warehouse is forty clicks away.. we must fortify it and defend it from the scum who have been disrupting operations. Our orders are shoot on sight, disintergrations are allowed, though Kublai would like one taken alive if possible, so that we can find out who is behind this."
The Drop ship circled around a great warehouse, it had all these carol red and cobalt blue crates with lettering in white in Huttese. Already some hK units were patrolling it with their heavy blaster rifles. Four turrents had been set up around the parameter, and the fifth lay hidden as surprise.

The Transport Ship touched down, Dread, The Duros, Trando, The Mando Jedi, and Company got off and the ship returned to the sky, Dread on his comms saying,
"Stay airborne and circle the area, we need eyes in sky in case they strike from there, torch any bastard that is not us!"
The Pilot responded,
"Copy that Dread!"
Sen took point with the Trando, they have gotten along more than any of the others, mainly because Repitlian did not speak much, which helped The Mando not have to think of answers that alligned with his cover story. That and Dread despite accepting him more still had prejudice against Tuskans. He did not trust Sen, which was little did the gruff bigot know was actually wise. The Jedi took point with The Trando holding his great turrent, they were walking between stacked crates of red and blue, Sen was trying to sense Phoebe, that is if she was going to come on this mission. One of the crates was being checked, one of the long dreadlock haired henchmen took a whip and snapped it at some people inside the create, Sen could see one of them was Twi'lek female recoiling from the whip. The Jedi had come to set slaves free, and so far all he had accomplished was convince a bunch of thugs that he was one of them. He was beginning to wonder if this was the best route, if he should not have just revealed himself to Phoebe and her team. How long could he pull of his ruse before he lost his soul?

He would sense the woman’s presence on the surface below. She was already on the planet. And he would sense her location on the planet to be overlooking the complex a few clicks to the south amid the cliffs that saw the whole thing. He would sense a second presence with her, she wasn’t alone.

So far there was no movement. No sign of anything aside from the woman’s presence a distance away from the complex. Doubtless she was scoping the place out, identifying the intensity of the security. He would also sense intense aggravation from her, she was angry about something. And there was murder on her mind. She and her people weren’t here to be subtle anymore, not like last time, and they certainly weren’t about to be making any arrests.

She and hers were out for blood.

It would seem she was hoping to spill his in particular for some unknown reason, and she was keeping a special eye out for him.

The Jedi could feel her, sensing her from afar. He wondered depiste her marginal Midi-chlorian count why this was so? Was it perhaps a Bond? This had happened in eons past with the Jedi Knight Revan and his wife Bastila Shan, who was a Jedi herself. Then it happened another time with Rey Skywalker and Ben Solo who defeated The Emperor. Though in those cases both sides of the Bond were strong in the Force, and the ladder was created for nefarious reasons by Snoke. Able to sense her, he could feel echoes of her feelings, and they were violent. If he intended to protect this team of Scum and Villiany, he would warn them and mention that she and probably her Team were coming. The truth is he was growing weary of this life, being embedded in a hive of crime lords. He had gleaned so little, and what he had learned was that there was some information off the books, and that there was trail leading to other worlds of those involved in this despicable trade. He was beginning to wonder if he could handle this, he was at the breaking point, and then he began to think of Tamar.. and the promise he had made.

Sen decided to do the unthinkable, he left Trando to guard that area alone and went to Dread himself who was looking at a datapad.
"They are here.. the ones who hit Kublai's Palace."
Dread looking up with his silver eyes,
"Oh? How do you know this."
There was suspicion in his voice.
Sen replied,
"A feeling.."
Dread scoffed,
"A feeling eh? Well now.. then lets just change the plan because Tusky has a feeling.."
The Tuskan Jedi interjected,
"I beg you heed me.. or many will die."
Dread put down his datapad,
"Listen.. I barely tolerate you Tusky, I consider your people.. well you know full well how I feel, I told you such. Though Kublai favors you so I must bear with you. I am in command of this op, and I will not tolerate dissent.. got that?"
Sen sighed,
"Got it."
The truth is the Jedi was not entirely upset, he had no love for these goons of the Hutts, but he had to try. He knew that if he keeps being the only one to survive these skirmishes that Kublai will become suspicious. Dread had the highest chance of survival, being tough as nails and surviving a crash back when this all started.

So now they waited, Sen knowing they were coming and being vigilant. He had no desire to kill any of them, they were doing what he wanted to do. But he had bigger fish to catch, and so he had to play the bad guy to catch the ones really behind all this. The LAAT was circling above, and Sen now taking his pistol went to Trando's location, where he was eyeing the pass beyond. There was a quiet, a forboding as the Jedi knew what was coming. Everything was hard choices these days...

An hour would pass. A second. A third. Until the dark of night fell, and suddenly someone spoke up.

“Starship coming out of hyperspace.” One of their team members called, only moments before an assault frigate appeared in the skies above the planet. Seconds after dropping from hyperspace it launched a small missile, which immediately locked on to and sped towards the LAAT circling overhead. Another few seconds and the ship burst apart into burning wreckage, and rained from the sky in pieces.

Then several more projectiles began to drop from the ship, projectiles that looked suspiciously like bombs. From the ground it looked like a meteor shower, seeing several things fall from the sky, plummeting rapidly toward their general area, and falling directly towards the complex.

As they were falling, heads began to explode. Sniper fire from several different angles picking off whatever bounty hunters they could see. Then there were the turrets. Long range ground-to-ground missiles were fired, and began screaming their way across the distance to destroy these defensive formations.

The bounty hunters expected a small team of vagabonds. Alexa had brought an army.

The LAAT burst into flames and began to spin as it fell, in that moment Dread looking up was furious. Then more projectiles came and hit the defensive turrents, Trando opened fire, his long streams of blue burning light to let the enemy know there was still some standing, and perhaps give cover fire. Sen seeing The Frigate in the air realized this was going to be a massacre, he ran to one of the crates, the one with the slaves inside, and he pressing a valve on his elbow of his mechanical arm, it opened up and he removed a hilt, and cut the lock off with a quick movement and then deactivated his lightsaber as he entered into a sea of Twi'leks that were screaming, sealing the door he said to them in Huttese, a language they knew,
"Be at ease.. I am here to help."
He activated his golden blade of kyber which bathed them in yellow light, and he said,
"I am.."
Then finished in their tongue,
"Jedai!"
Outside was madness, explosions and blaster fire as the Defenders tried to hold their ground. Dread was looking about, he came to Trando who was limping, he letting fire back at the direction of the sniper shots.
"Traaj! Where is Sen?"
The Trando responded in garbled words that he did not know.
Dread got on the comms,
"We need an Exfil! Heavy fire! We are not gonna be able to hold! Over!"
There was static, Dread pulling off his headset as he said,
"Damn it! They have jammed the Comms! Who the Farrik are these people?!"
Dread drew out his Disruptor, a weapon that was illegal in twelve systems, and had the ability to create such damage that it was dangerious to the wielder.
"I am going to Farrik them up! Are you with me Traaj?!"
The Trando nodded.
Running out from cover, Dread let fly bolts of green from his weapon that when they met the area they hit they expanded in explosion like a cube of fire that vaporizing what it hit.

Inside the crate, Sen said to the Twi'leks,
"We need to hold here until the noise! The thunder stops. Understand?"
They all nodded, some grabbing on to his robes as if a life raft. The Jedi deactivating his blade, then raised his hands and began to fortify the inner metal with a bubble of energy from The Sorcery, this technique, known as Force Barrier, would help keep them safe from the bombs and whatever else Phoebe and her Team would drop on them. The power was draining, but Sen would hold the force field as long as necessary, he could see Tamar in her veil of cloth and metal looking at him.
"I will not fail.. not this time!"

The Trandoshian opened fire on nothing, no enemies making themselves visible just yet. All the blaster fire coming from hidden snipers in the distance, and the missiles from an equally long distance. Giving the Trandoshian nothing definitive to shoot at, only general areas where the fire came from.

Then came the thunder. Several heavy objects striking the ground in rapid succession, but not the explosions of bombs that he expected. His force shield under no strain of any sort. No bombs exploded, but the ground definitely shook with some form of impact. Finally the noise would really begin, the sound of blasters firing filled the area around them. The various warehouses throughout the complex being stormed by shock troops one by one and cleared. The hidden turret that had remained concealed did some damage, and it caused some casualties on the attackers side, but it was a temporary setback. The troopers rapidly swarming it and destroying the droid that manned it.

Finally he would feel that presence approaching him. Alexa, as he knew her Phoebe, was getting closer. A few moments would pass, he would hear movement on the other side of the door. He would see bright sparks flying from the hinges as lock, then the door would fall inward, and Alexa stepped in, her carbine braced and ready to shoot. She had a helmet obscuring her face, but he would know it was her. And the moment her eyes found him he would feel her fury flare up, and immediately she moved to take a shot at him.

Dread watched as the pods dropped with shock troopers,
"Dank Farrik!"
They were now too close of range to use is Disruptor without killing himself. He switched to Heavy Repeater Rifle and began opening fire. Trando was hit by bolts, as he fell he let fly so many bolts till he collapsed, his tongue covered in foam. During this the Duros in his long leather coat and hat made his way to a sqaud that had its barrels ready,
"You know the difference between you and me? I will still be breathing in a few seconds."
With that he snapped his hands and two chome Westar Pistols flew into his hands and he began firing, his shots making their mark right between the eyes of each of the Shock Troopers. Their bolts danced around him as he moved around them with surprising grace.

Sen dropped the barrier when the crate door began to open, it was her. And when she stepped in with her weapon primed to fire, The Jedi held his hands up, the Twi'leks crying out and clawing at him with their hands, shouting, "Jedai! Jedai!" Their speech was a little muffled by the tension in their voices, but it was evident that they were hoping her would continue to protect them.
"Phoebe.. I know it is you behind that mask."
Now to explain why he knew that without betraying his cover, he said,
"Your gate gave you away.. I remember it well at the Palace."
He was not sure if she saw the barrier or not when the door opened, he tried to let it down in time, but the chaos made everything difficult.
"How have you been?"

The man now tearing through shock troops attracted special attention from their snipers. And he was no longer safe out in the open. A number of troopers had already died. But now they identified a major threat, and that bounty hunter would now be targeted by the majority of the troopers. Any threat they saw they wanted dead, and they were motivated to put this one down. He could make a last stand and kill off some of them before inevitably going down himself. Or he could try to make an escape, and possibly live to see another day.

Alexa stepped in, and she just barely held back her trigger finger from squeezing, and putting a hole in his chest. He could tell she was glaring at him right now. The anger she had towards him at the moment was palpable.

She didn’t miss the fact that the slaves in here were calling him “Jedi”, in Huttese. She didn’t entirely know where that came from, and at the moment she didn’t much care.

“You have ten seconds to explain yourself before I execute you here and now.” She told him angrily, not lowering her weapon, but not firing it yet either.

The Duros had taken down a handful, however, there numbers were increasing. So he decided to go to the bug out hangar, there speeder bikes sat idling, their getaway bikes. Leaping on with his trenchcoat, he tipped his hat and kicking the stand, he took off, escaping.
Dread was pinned down at stacked crates, giving them hell.

Sen could feel her anger, the swirl of the dark side like a panther drawn to it. He needed to disable this scenerio and so he decided on the course of action. With his hands he called Twi'lek's into air to fall on Phoebe, he began tossing the gals into the air as he retreated into the others at the back of the crate, he then ignited his gilded kyber and began to cut a hole in the crate, large enough for him to crawl out, one of Twi'lek's poked her head out with lekku like serpents slithering on the ground. Helping her out, it was then Dread stood there looking at him as he held his lightsaber humming.
"What in the Hutt? When did you get a Laser Sword Tusky? And where the hell have you been?"
Looking at Dread with his visor he said,
"Securing the cargo.."
Dread raised an eyebrow,
"We need to bug out.. there are too many of of their motherfarrikers. Come on!"
Sen taking her hand began to ran, the Green Twi'lek was confused why the Jedai was leading her away from his kin. The Jedi, The Bounty Hunter, and The Twi'lek came to hangar which was crawling with some of the Shock Troopers. Dread opened fire, Sen spun his blade around deflecting bolts, protecting the Girl. Looking back at Sen, Dread said,
"You know what.. you take point.. you seem good at that glow stick."
Sen began spinning the blade, batting bolts away as Dread firing from behind, The Twi'lek staying behind them both confused at what was going on. They came to one idling Speeder, and Dread said,
"Looks like we are gonna have to share.."
Sen loaded the Twi'lek on the back, Dread looking at him,
"What are you doing? Leave her! She is a loss.. we need to get out of here!"
Sen shook his head,
"They will overtake us.. someone has to draw their attention."
Dread squinting at him said,
"You fool! You are The Champion! Kublai will give me hell if I leave you behind!"
Sen looking at the very man who killed his beloved said,
"Tell him I was killed in the bombardment.. he will believe you."
Dread leapt on to the bike, a thunder of boots drawing close.
"You are alright Tusky.. May The Force Be With You.. or whatever."
With that the bike took off like a shot, and Sen turned holding his blade to his side, the Troopers came to him with their rifles aimed shouting,
"Throw down your weapon!"
The Mando Jedi shook his head, with that lunged, they opened fire, be deflecting shuts and cutting barrels in twain, the round cylinders having molten rings as they fell as he threw one Shock Trooper with the Force, they hitting a crate. He then spun around and hit another across the helm with pommel of his hilt, another drew a vibroknife and dug it through his arm which sparked, the Trooper looking at him and he jerked and threw him to the ground. More Troopers came firing and he held out his hand, making the bolt float like flames in the air and inching back at them, they all stood rather alarmed.

Upon his running Alexa cursed and gave chase. He cut a hole in the crate, and her path was blocked by a pile of Twi-lek. She had to go around. But then she saw him pull out a lightsaber, and her fury burned even hotter. A single word passed through her mind, one he would be able to hear it was said with such hateful Venom.

SITH

He would hear her shout this into her comm unit. “Be Advised, Sith on the field!”

What else could he be? His lightsaber might be yellow. But he threw slaves behind him as meat shields to let him escape her. No Jedi would ever do that. And no Jedi would even consider being involved in stuff like this.

He had to be.

She turned on her heel and sprinted out of the door she came in. And began rushing around to the other side so she could catch him. They couldn’t let someone this dangerous get away.

She came around, and by the time she had come to find him he had disabled many of her compatriot’s primary weapons. And had several blaster bolts in the air with his power. This wouldn’t work at all.

“Shields!” She ordered, still sprinting his way.

The troopers retreated a few feet away, and some others came forward to cover their comrades, deploying large arm-mounted plasma shields to protect them from any returning bolts. One such shield was tossed to Alexa, who caught it and activated it to protect herself from the bolts as she continued to charge. She discarded her carbine, and rushed him.

It would seems she intended to hit him like a train, and either knock him down or grapple him. Or at the very least keep him suitably engaged so her compatriots could do him in while he was occupied with her.

Sen watching as Phoebe entered the scene and gave commands,
"So she is a leader.." he said to himself.
As they began to activate shields and pointed their weapons, he saw she was coming at him like a Reek ready to gorge him. Taking command of the bolts he threw them up into the air and they were gone, no one landing back down on anyone. He as she was almost at him deactivated his lightsaber and rolled it down to the troopers with their shields. In all this tumult he had not cut one trooper down, nor maimed, only their weapons laid torn asunder. As he lowered his gaurd, one trooper let off a shut, that tore through his shoulder, the burning pain he was use to, and he did not retaliate. It was in this moment that he prepared for them to drop him, though he hoped Phoebe would be the one to take him down before their rifles did. This was not what he had envisioned this day, to reveal himself to anyone. Though he heard the chatter on their comms say, "Sith" which for him provided an opportunity to keep cover, though being mistaken for the enemy of his Order would be another burden to carry.

It seemed the Will of the Force was to break him, to see how far he would go in this quest. He knew the promise to Tamar was impossible. He could not cheat death, he could only do his best to save those he could, as he unable to save her...

With his saber deactivated and discarded none of the rest of them fired save the one who had done so prematurely. And he was not met with the grim embrace of death, though he was met by an impressively powerful haymaker from an armored fist.

Thankfully he also had a helmet on, else he might be permanently deformed after such a blow. His helmet and general toughness would likely prevent an actual knockout. Despite the power behind her punch, it was immediately apparent that close quarters was not this woman’s strong suit. If he were to fight back, he would smoke her with barely any effort. And her lack of knowledge on how to use the force meant that his force powers alone would result in her utter domination. She was able to land this blow entirely because he allowed it to happen.

The others closed in quickly as this happened, surrounding him to cut off escape and force his surrender. He was a high enough profile individual as a Sith to warrant capture.

He would not be killed this time around.

The blow from her fist made his head sway, the mirror like visor cracked a little so that it appeared as tear. He let her land that blow because he deserved it. He had been deceiving her, he was deceiving her still. As the troopers surrounded him in a circle with rifles aimed, he did not attempt to strike her, not do them any harm. They were after all the heroes, busting up rings of villainy, while he played a villian to try and bring down the kingpins in hiding. Though now, at the end of this day, it was them, Phoebe and her troopers who were the heroes, they had saved so many Twi'leks bound for the market. He saw a bunch of them gathering as some troopers escorted them. The Mando Jedi fell down on one knee, as he had his wrists cuffed behind his back, he looked at Twi'lek Child that pointed at him and smiled.
Suddenly his mind went back to the Tuskan Children who played about their enclave. It was one of few happy memories had had left, when his tribe was poised to grow and become prominent. Another Trooper came and hit him with bud of his rifle and said,
"That was my good rifle! Sith Scum!"
He gave no answer, he knew if they believed he was Sith, they may do worse than that. He wondered if this expiation would please the gods of Mandalor, The Force, and the Sand Goddess?

Alexa looked at him as he was cuffed and stood up. She let her fellow soldiers bring him to a transport ship, to be taken up to their frigate for detention. She had to oversee the liberation of the slaves, and the destruction of the drugs found within the complex. and the seizure of any documents that could be found here. But also she had to oversee the collection of those who died in the assault. There were far more fatalities than there should have been, and she had to report to her superiors what had happened.

But it was ultimately a success. The slaves were freed, and the contraband seized. And they had a prisoner. One she was determined to speak with. She’d received a lot of flak because of him. And he owed her some answers. She didn’t expect to receive any, but she would ask the questions anyway.

A few hours would pass. He was brought to the frigate and placed in a cell. There he would wait for some time before finally someone came to see him. And it was none other than the blond woman who he was beginning to recognize. Her helmet was removed. Her blond hair had been cut into an asymmetrical bob since he’d last seen her, her amber eyes fixed on him in a glare.

His cell opened and she stepped in.

“You have some explaining to do.” She said, sitting across from him on the other bunk in his cell.

Taken aboard the Ship, he was taken to a cell, and his armor was removed. They took off his Sacred robes to which he said,
"Careful.. they have deep meaning.."
Then one of men went to take his helm, and he popped the valve, and said,
"The Way demands you return this to me.. even if its for funerary purposes."
The Soldier took it off and was rather surprised at what he saw.
Black hair in bangs that were like arches, pale face, and eyes that seemed to glow as moon rocks.

The Trooper took the gear as he left the cell and said,
"This is the Way."
The Mano Jedi nodded and said,
"This is the Way."
It was not too long after did a familiar face make her way into the cell, He could feel her angst in the look she gave and then her words conveyed even more so the tension he felt in the crate.
"I am glad it is to you I must confess."
He made not aggressive motion, just moving his hand in the cuffs as he straightened himself on the bunk.
"My name is Sen Kai, I am a Jedi Sentinel in the Jedi Order. I have been embedded in the Hutt Cartel to uncover the trafficking rings, and track the leads to the hierarchy really behind this villainy. For months I have been in deep cover. When we met I sensed I could trust you.. something I wish to discuss with you at another time, I am not a Sith. Though I see why you came to that conclusion. Take not and inspect your troops, I did not harm any of them, only their weapons, that is a technique no Sith uses."
He took a deep breath.
"I have intel on a lead.. and having seen your raid of the Warehouse, I believe we could be allies. Of course.. that would require you to trust me again."
He could sense it, what if it was trap, he was left behind to lead them into the hands of the Hutts. This was problem of intrigues, no one trusted anyone truly, you had to have faith, to decide if you were going to take what someone said at face value or suspect ulterior motives.

She looked him up and down after his explanation. It was clear that she didn’t fully believe him. It was well within the realms of possibility. It was known that yellow was the color of some rarer Jedi sabers, which his was. But she was suspicious of him. After all, he’d lied to her once before.

“As much as I’d like to believe you. You’ve lied to me before.” She told him. “The Hutt still lives. The opportunity to kill him wasted. Now the higher ups will only accept an arrest because of the case we’ve built. Because of you that Slug had a chance to play the courts, something they are notoriously good at.”

Her amber eyes looked directly into his cobalt ones, mistrust clear in her expression. “You didn’t kill any of my men. But that could just as easily be a ruse. After all you flung slaves at me like meatshields. And I have no reason to believe that you stayed behind while your friend left, only to surrender so easily and be fully forthright with me afterwards. Right now it looks like you’re supposed to bait us.”

“If we go to the Jedi and ask them who you are, what will they tell us?” She asked him.

Sen sighed,
"Lied.. mislead, I needed the Hutt alive to find the information I needed. There was no time to reveal who I was.. the crime bosses waking up from that cocktail that had knocked them cold. Plus you were making your exit.. had I detained you, you may not have escaped."

She was clearly indignant at his action,
"Tossed.. I tossed Twi'leks at you.. I could not surrender then, I had to know if Dread was dead or alive. That no witnesses for the Hutts would know what I tell you now."

After a pause he said,
"Regarding a ruse.. that is true, I could be leading you to a trap. On the other hand, if I wanted you and your outfit to be eliminated, why did I not aid the Palace guards in finding you? Your escape was not training alone.. it was The Will of the Force, which put me there. I could tell right away.. you were different."

He was playing at logic, trying to gain her trust when he decided to give her something more,
"If you believe me to be your enemy.. give me my saber and I will gladly take my own life." (Edited version of Nathan Algrin's Line, The Last Samurai)
This was extreme, and yet he meant it. This was not a Jedi tenet, he was speaking of a Tuskan Rite, to prove fealty which he had done once before to his tribe, now he offered it to her.
He then hung his head lower as he thought about the last time he said those words in front of the Chieftan, and he received the Mark of the Tuskan. She possibly would see it as hyperbole, he was dead serious. He waited for her to give answer, he wanted her to believe him. For someone to believe in him again as Tamar had...

She listened closely to every explanation given to her. And they made sense, that small bit of her gut still urging her to trust him. But this time she was not so easily swayed. She’d gotten a thorough ass chewing from the brass for that. And she knew that she deserved it when she learned that Kublai was still alive.

She sighed. His offer to take his own life was a serious one. And she could tell that he was being truthful about this. But still… how could she justify trusting him again?

She looked up at him again. And after a brief moment of silence she spoke up. “We will confirm your identity with the Jedi. If they come back to us with confirmation on who you are we can talk. If you really want to help, then you can tell us what you know.”

Sen reaching into his mouth, back a mollar twisted and pulled out a hollow tooth, dropping it on his hand, a little chip came out. He handing it to her said,
"Use this to confirm who I am."
He then leaned back against the wall, he had revealed all to her and while he did not mind it being her, it was still a great risk. All those months of cover spent trying to earn the trust of the Hutts. Though he was certain she would not betray him to a mutual enemy, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." (Arab Proverb).

The Cell was the typical containment structure, if he wanted he could use His Power to escape, though that would caste doubt on his intentions. Besides he had more in which he hoped to discuss with Phoebe, though he knew that was not her name. It was the only one he had at the present time.
