Hush Now

Matsu remained there while the conversation continued her hands there in her lap for a moment... or more so it would appear. Matsu was focusing the white current to let her move her hands around and stay focused but also move around. With a small motion though she waited for a moment. ""It is a noble effort and goal, never be deterred from wanting to be a god person or wanting to do good things. Doing without the want of reward is a lost art I have seen but it is something that..." The guardian seemed to trail off for a moment as he had been speaking and then Matsu was leaning back a little for a moment with the small jug in her hand. She raised her eyebrows watching for them a moment long. "Oh clever jedi." Matsu held it and spoke. "Sometimes it isn't about forcing it or trying to sneak about. Sometime syou just have to know how to talk to a person."

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel was listening and learning. She knew that this was something she would do for her entire life — it was simply her way, even if it was not the Jedi way too.

And as Matsu spoke, she was mesmerised by her words and the reactions of the guardian, to the point that she was not paying attention to the jug. Not until her Master revealed the secret.

She smiled broadly. “Simple is good and yet we so often overlook it. The Force is important but it is not the only thing a Jedi has at her disposal. I forgot that Master. Thank you for reminding me.”

Matsu was looking at Sorel as she spoke and holding the jug there in her hands as she waited for a moment. To let the guardian laugh while they were sitting there and presenting to the two of them. "Clever clever, one should always be learning how to move and go through with things. The creatures down below on the surface as creatures of adapting. They observe, read the situation and work to ease others into what they want. Seeing all of it." Matsu looked more at the jug though as she listened and it seemed like a strange idea for them to be able to get so much power from something like this.

She thought it but didn't say anything remaining there before the guardian finished and rose up with their staff. "Go ahead have a drink you have earned it and there is some levels of understanding." She managed to get a small look on her face though where she would be able to and where she might be able to see it. Matsu looked a the guardian for now when she opened the cap of it and the ceramic stopper on it as she scented the water that was inside and it was... like small flowers. She was uncertain about some parts of it before she spoke feeling some nerves. This was a big thing and well she was guessing taking it and studying it wasn't an option.

She took a drink for a moment and swished it in her mouth with a small look before she swallowed. "Its water." The guardian seemed to be looking at them and laughing. "Well yes, do you think one can distill into water all of the powers a person can have? If that were possible then someone in the galaxy would have cornered the market surely on making super soldiers or force juggernauts." Matsu was listening to him and it made sense as he continued to speak. "You learned how to endure beyond the levels of others getting up here, you learned how to see past illusions and mental tricks with me here. You learned how to think of new ways around problems."

THey were staying there for a moment and well she could think about a few of the things, prepared for any of it when Sorel she at least offered the jug to for a drink. They had worked hard without something of a break or food and water so it was something refreshing that at least made her feel a little better. Matsu was looking at the guardian and she spoke. "So is there anything else we should know about the being the creatures whatever they are down on the surface?" She asked it and was curious for now while all of them went ahead. "Well they have preformed a ritual to replace their hearts with crystal to extend their lives even longer then normal."

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel listened and observed. It was a part of her as much as breathing. And like respiration, it was necessary for her to live. And as she heard and watched, she learned and grew — as surely as a flower blooms when fed the right nutrients.

As the container was unstoppered, she caught a faint aroma of flowers and presumed the liquid was either perfumed or this was the smell of the ingredients. So when her Master stated it was plain water, she was a little surprised but knew that life always presented such things to test you.

And so Sorel took the jug willingly and took a sip. The water was cool and quenched her thirst. And like the sun and nutrients, no flower could exist without this simple but necessary liquid.

And then she listened to the conversation between the guardian and her Master, keen to understand how they could protect the locals and not harm the creatures. For that was the Jedi way.

Matsu looked at Sorel as she stood there near her before she was moving now. Allowing the force to move and guide them here on the planet she could think of a number of new things that they might be able to have or do. "These creatures sound in some ways more complicated. We should sleep here for the night, descending the tower in the morning would be a lot easier and we can investigate more of the area for ourselves. Now that we have some sort of idea how to seek them out. If they make their hearts into crystals then they need to be near one or understand the crystals here on the world itself."

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel, as ever, bowed to her Master’s wisdom. It wasn't that she wasn't bright, or was wise herself — but rather that she understood good advice when it was given and acted upon it. She was not in any way pretentious or over-focused on her own thoughts. Rather, she user her mind and knowledge to ascertain what was valid advice and act upon it.

And Matsu gave good counsel, so Sorel heeded her words.

“I know this planet is significantly linked to its crystals, and that was a clue I should have picked up on earlier. But other than my general interest in them, what specific knowledge do we have of them? Strengths? Weaknesses? Locations? Anything that can help us.” She turned to the guardian at this point. “Is there anything else you can share?”

Matsu was thinking about it when she stayed there for a while longer. Wondering about the crystals itself and what she knew about that that might be able to be added to it. "I knew a great deal but alas I am up here more and more. Rarely go down so I am uncertain about where the largest concentrations have been set up or taken." The guardian said it as Matsu nodded some understanding. They might know a lot but things could have changed down below. Crystals were a currency on the world and it could help out someone who needed it if they were lucky. Having a small look as she walked across the large area with it opened there was some things she could see now. Coming out as they resonated with the force and served to look like animals and creatures... but were mechanical as their eyes glowed.

Sorel wondered how they would progress but had every faith her Master would be able to solve the next set of challenges the way she had this one. Finding the crystals would not be easy, but Sorel was sure Matsu would find a way that would speed their search up.

And as she felt assured at this knowledge, her attention was drawn to what appeared to be animals but were in fact not alive. Yet they had a Force aura.

Looking to her Master, she could see that Matsu had come to the same conclusion at roughly the same time.

“Curious,” Sorel said as she wondered what the creatures were.

Matsu was looking at it while she walked around and could see the creatures or whatever they were. "THey are like shards, living crystals and beings. It is something different though. We have seen shards able to use ships with specialized equipment, the Iron knights were a group of shards that were highly skilled." She said it and knew how to help out and work with some fo the shards for herself so that all of them would be able to get going and be around the area. Matsu was presenting a few other places here when they got led into an area to rest and sleep for the night. There was some food laid out and it looked simple, plain but not something bad.

"Here eat, drink you have done a lot today and there is a whole lot here." The guardian was leaving i for them and Matsu took a seat. Less ornate and big then what they had by the palace estate place... but it was well enough it was worth it until she sat down crossing her legs with a small look on her face. "This is all very nice thank you." Remaining there while she looked and motioned for Sorel to join her the guardian was leaving them behind. With a small look on her face where she could go and head off, looking over the food and then tasting it. "Hmm this is very good."
