Private Hunting in a haunted past (Aito/Lirka)

What had they done to you, Mandalore?

Or Moridinae as the Sith Empire was referring to the planet now. The world was of two halves, a similar look to Kessel, a strip mine on one half and a luxury paradise on the other half. It was heartbreaking to see his home turned into a world no longer recognisable. Worse was that to complete this hunt he had to forgo his full beskar armour. His helmet gone so that he didn't stand out amongst these rich folks as a Mandalorian. He sneaked onto the world through bargaining, threatening and paying his way. It hadn't been easy, the Sith were stricter on movement than the CIS and SJO, so he had problem getting to his home world and when he saw it as they came into landing, he regretted it a lot. However he was here, he was angry and he was determined to capture the target and bring them back to whoever wanted them for whatever reason.

He had heard the rumours that the target was in charge of this new Mandalore, he gotten away with sneaking a blaster pistol and a couple of daggers. Not as well armed as he would have liked but hopefully he could find something around to give him an edge. His people were gone, that much was clear, his clan, his family dead. They must have fought to the bitter end, no Mandalorian would have allowed the world to turn into this. Checking the information on the hire, he knew the name and where they would be, little less. He had to hire a splicer to crack into the Sith Empire's database to steal small amount of helpful information. Such as ion would be a good idea to have brought with him. However, he couldn't get much in terms of weaponry with him, he had been able to pickpocket a single ion grenade that he found when searching a bureaucrats' estate, some sort of arms dealer.

One ion grenade meant he had one chance to take this target down. So, he needed to play it smart, get in close and ensure the ion grenade went off with no chance of the target avoiding it. Once chance. One grenade. One target. It was going to be interesting that was for sure. Aito waited, taking a long guzzle of his beer as he watched out for his target. They should be moving soon.

It didn't take a genius to guess where the great-and-all-powerful Moff of Moridinae would throw herself, the great governor's palace under construction was massive: a great spire towering into the sky, in vague resemblance to the Royal Palace on Thustra, but darker, it did not inspire great works of art as so much as it reminded everyone that the Governor was always watching, waiting, ready to pounce and destroy.

Though her great icon of power remained unfinished, workers and droids toiled in and out. The ruckus was great, and made finding the route more than simple: getting past security would be the actually challenging part. But what good hunter didn't know how to bonk a few bucketheads together to get around? Security was light on the way there, and grew much heavier as one progressed into the Palace itself.

Lirka herself stood within, surveying the gathered crowds of workers from a glass observation port. Her silent bodyguards arrayed throughout the room, to little shock the deranged, genocidal, artist, that was Lirka wanted to make sure everything was being done exactly how she wanted.

The palace was ugly spike to the sky, or at least Aito considered it an ugly spike towards the sky since the spire was meant to show the omnipresence of the new moff leader of his home. Able to sneak as part of a construction team, Aito didn't stand too out since he was well built and looked like he could do construction. However, he was going to have to sneak into the higher levels of the spire. Where things were not exactly easy to infiltrate, he bypassed several of the guards on lower levels. Bluffed past one as he said he was looking for the foreman who was on a higher level to talk to Lirka's underlings about the construction progress. It was 50/50 whether or not the guard brought it but before he could report it, Aito broke his neck and stored him away.

Moving higher up required a disguise, so he donned the guard's armour and moved higher up the building as he tried to avoid as many guards and security best he could. Reaching the glass observation port, Aito noted the silent guards spread out in the room with Lirka at the far end. He was tempted to just go in and shoot the guards down and take the target out with the grenade. But he only had one and this needed to be carefully planned. He was needing to plan the attack carefully, be methodical in his approach. Or he could just shoot everyone and get the ball rolling. He really wasn't the super stealthy type.

So he shot the nearest guard, then used them as a blaster shield as he shot at the other guards who moved towards him.
