Hunting a Mankarii. (Ashe the Reaper)

Crystalsong, a world far different from the one he came from. On him was a slugthrower and a Infereti Longsword, but nothing more as he stood there and waited for the one whom he would be searching with this creature for. None the less the young King used the little bit of force training he had received as a way occupy himself, spinning a rock just off his hand and sitting on a stone that came out of the earth. His clothing was a simple robe and cloak of grey color, his eyes scanning over the stone as it rotated in his hand. [member="Ashe the Reaper"]

A lone Eightgun, clad in custom matte MARPAT coating, had suddenly roared overhead as it sought a suitable clearing for which to land. Minutes later, a lone figure clad in pitch-black armor over a somewhat scant indigo armorweave dress emerged from the crystalline thicket beyond. Long, flowing silver hair, elegantly teased, eerily contrasted in monochrome against the vibrant colors that were the crystalline biology of this world. She paused for a moment, looking upon [member="Arthur David Hardrada"], before once more proceeding to slowly approach.
"Who... are you...?" her voice resounded.
It was likely that this was the man scheduled to meet with her concerning the contract capture of a living Mankarii specimen.

"Arthur Varian Hardrada, my pleasure to meet you miss, ive done a bit of background searching on you if you didnt mind, also im open to answer any questions though it need not impede our progress if they are asked in the most in opportune moments." He studied her for a few moments before shrugging and looking at the area again, his eyes scanning over it to decide which direction that he needed to go in. They would return to her though the moment she started speaking, a sign of respect for her as he was sure to show it. [member="Ashe the Reaper"]

(((Just a reminder: This thread was back during undead Ashe so ignore my new app/voice and stuff.)))
Her voice coldly replied as she walked up to him and then turned away to inspect the surroundings.
"I don't. There is little known about me, and it is preferred that way. What do you know about the Mankarii?" Ashe questioned the man, [member="Arthur David Hardrada"].
The woman did not need much more than he blades and her armor for this mission. She wielded fire, and even alchemically enhanced it, which was a certain weakness of their target. She could also simply cut them and the rest of the flora asunder with the honed edge of her alchemic blades if necessary.

(( I am so so so sorry i haven't posted till now.))

"That they can fly, and the ones ive seen are quite the beautiful sort. Certainly would find them interesting to talk to if they know Basic though i assume talking is not the reason that you want one captured is it?" He didn't like the idea of harming one of them, and honestly would rather try to convince one to come with him over immobilizing it, but a job was a job and he would do what was needed to finish it.

"I have my reasons. Like all sentient species, they have formed societies. Societies require policing, and they'll no doubt be fully capable of retaliation if need be. However beautiful they may be, you need to be ready to kill at a moment's notice."
There were no cages, no restraints or any apparatuses. It should have been blatantly obvious that the woman didn't come there with peace in mind.
"You can resort to diplomacy if you want, but it is absolutely mandatory we take one - alive. Even if it means others must die."
Any sense of empathy or emotion was lost in her voice. Truthfully, she'd rather not a one had to die, and would prefer to do things that way. In her current state of being, however, only the means to the end filled her mind. If the man could avoid bloodshed, he was a man worth his salt indeed.

"Sorry, just seems like a shame to kill innocent ones without so much as a need to past your needing only one alive... but your the employer so legs get this underway why dont we?" With a smile he started off, a light jog through these woods. It was funny though, he could probably run at least two miles in these ones, not a single inch of snow to slow him down and it had come to be very easy to run through the snow after you live with it every day. "So by the way, whats your name miss, im a bit interested in you as you don't exactly scream. 'Normal sentient life, right here.'"

Ashe watched as [member="Arthur David Hardrada"] paced off into the distance. Likely to his surprise, Ashe kept an almost immediate and tireless pace, no gaps in her voice to even indicate she was moving at all. She did not breathe, nor did her body originally require much oxygen for her level of agility anyhow. Such was the agility and dexterity of the Ruferalahuin race.
The undead foxtress's eyes shifted to her right side, gazing back upon the man as he asked for her name. Her name? Her name was a sacred thing, a secret thing. It was not because she was afraid of something, but she was indeed running from something. She was running from herself. Ashe wanted none to know that she was no longer of a living breed; none other than her wife, a man and a vong knew.
"You may simply call me Ashe," replied the vulpine woman.
She did not stop to ask his. She simply continued on, assuming he knew how to find his own way through the woods, and would curiously follow his lead.

"Nice to meet you then miss, pleasure doing business was well too while im at it. Names Arthur and i do hope we can do this quickly, not that spending time with ya isn't a treat, but i have things to do and people to govern after this." He kept his eyes up, watching for the very thing he was hunting with this woman, curious as to how long it would actually take to see one and how much longer to convince one to come with them.
