Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Astraeus Industrial
Model: HUD-G
Affiliation: Open-Market
Modularity: Yes
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Plasteel, transparisteel, titanium, pretty much anything.
Description:
The Production of the HUD-G was designed around style, rather than function. A similar product already exists on the market, though its standardized look and rather unfashionable appearance has made it rather unpopular in some civilian markets.

Realizing the potential for the product but also its main flaw, Alric commissioned one of the minor companies that Kuhn Consolidated holds stock in to create and research a similar technology. What goes into the HUD-G is not new in any sense of the word. It derives from many of the same design principals as well as technological marvels as the Shadez or other HUD's located in helmets. The only difference is that each of the technologies was worked into a stylized look.

HUD-G can be found in a number of different styles raging into the hundreds.

Each one of these HUD-G's features the exact same thing. A hook up to the holo-net, a small microphone for communication, A tiny camera within the bridge of the glasses itself as well as a holo-display. the possibility of establishing a link to a private database as well as other common features such as a clock, calendar, GPS, and all of those amenities.

More expensive version of the HUD-G come outfitted with advanced features. These features include night vision, infrared vision, as well as as more secure communications lines and vastly increase durability. The More expensive version is purchasable by anyone, but the cost is enough to off put most civilians, with a regular HUD-G going for a mere 200 Credits while this one goes for nearly 2,000. This increase in cost is mostly due to an increase in production materials as well as the difficulty in including more in a single package.
