How Green Was My Cactus? [Audren and Zak]

The Sephi barely managed to keep to a wry grin. He now understood what others meant when they said Jedi after an apparent mind reading. More often than not it was the Jedi just being logical or understanding how the other person thought, but it came off as being mind reading. While it was true he would need to gear up to meet the order, he considered it a failing as a business to openly admit as such. No doubt personal opinion, but founded in some semblance of business sense.

He stood with the Master, listening as she commented on Abaigeal. More training and experience...they could all benefit from that, from the newest Padawan to the Grand Master himself. One might argue whether being in the Temple was a good or bad thing when it came to training and experience, but he personally thought it was a good thing for the most part. Yes, training could be more concentrated at the Temple, but one received more experience away from the Temple, and experience was its own teacher.

The question about a Padawan caught him off guard. It shouldn't have, he should have expected it, but he didn't. It was actually something he'd been thinking about here and there. He hadn't come to any decisions yet, but some steps had been made. No doubt his lack of surety showed in his voice.

"Having a lot to teach isn't the same as being a good teacher, but I will think on what you've said. Thank you once again for everything."

He'd only been present a short time, and his visit had been extremely fruitful. Yet he still felt a bit antsy. It was time to leave. As he left the room, a stray thought shot through his head...if he felt like that, how did Zak feel?
