- Description: Scouts units job was to get in front the main infantry column, and check out potential threats. Though once nearing the area, they tend to dismount and make the last the of the trip on foot. As the bikes would give away the position. Though they had other duties as well, they picket lines to check for people coming into camp. They also set up ambushes, if the enemy route is known. They run dispatches if the com links are being jammed, and relay enemy positions to artillery units. They can also call in airstrikes if need be, to destroy a high value target. They also sometimes use their, bikes to resupply front line infantry, if the supply lines get stretched. Though they did have one major issue, once they where mounted on a bike, and if zipping around out of cover, they where easy to spot, and could easily be targeted by enemy troops.
