THE PLANET
V O S S
TEMPLE OF THE JEDI

The Backwater was resting back on the docking bay of the Silver Temple's hangar.

Various ships of the Jedi, from E'ron class cruisers to the latest Sasori starfighters, littered around the interior as the Nautolan knight disembarked from his recent trip out beyond Mon Cala, to the world of Sanctuary. While he'd been there, he'd met some interesting folks. One of which had traveled back to Voss with him, eager to seek knowledge and training in the ways of the Force from the Jedi.

The white-haired youth was just that. A youth. Perhaps a few years older than Master [member="Sor-Jan Xantha"] appeared. But he'd garnered Zak's attention for his rudimentary skill in using the Force.

He was raw. Not un-skilled, but lacking in refinement.

Now, here, at Voss... perhaps the youth would find what he needed in order to elevate his knowledge and abilities to the next level.

...Force knew, if they could do it with Zak, they could do it with anyone.

"Welcome to Voss-Ka!" the Nautolan chimed, turning to look back at his impromptu traveling companion.

"We can stop by the quartermaster to get you a room, then I can show you around the temple or city proper."

@random SJO people to help me welcome Killnan

Nyt Rito

The (New) Padawan Menace!
There.... It was there.... That familiar sensation. Could it be?!

YES!!!!
The resident havoc-wrecker, the torch-bearer of the mantle of 'Padawan Menace', protege of the previous holder of said title, perked up from his most recently acquired disciplinary task, as he felt [member=Zak Dymo] break atmosphere. Grinning ear to ear, he wrapped up the task at hand, which happened to be dishes in the cafeteria, and bolted, to the tune of disgruntled yells of the kitchen-staff.
Not that he left without permission. And not that he didn't finish his task, because he did.
No.
Because he pilfered two brownies. One, to eat. The other? Impromptu projectile weapon.
Running as fast as his short legs, and the Force, would permit, the young Nautolan darted under, around, and over students and instructors alike as he practically blazed a trail for the hangar. As he entered, he spotted Zak having just disembarked from his vessel. A peal of joyous laughter, not too dissimilar to maniacal cackling, escaped the younglings throat, as he shouted as he approached at great speed.
"BIG BRAH!!!! Catch!!!" came the warning, as he slung the still warm, ooey, gooey, chocolatey mess at his Master. Most Padawan wouldn't dare. But Nyt wasn't 'most Padawan'.
Nyt was Zak's Padawan.

It was around this time of day that Millay spent her time sitting against one of the crates in the hanger, fiddling with the random gears and robotic parts she brought along as she watched the ships, carrying new arrivals, came in.

Today had not been all that interesting so far. The only people to land were a few new initiates and padawan/master pairs coming in from missions. A disappointing result, as the hanger usually had some very interesting people come in.

The young Twilek sighed to herself, realizing nothing interesting would probably happen today. She stood, grabbing the parts laying on the ground around her before stuffing them into her backpack. The initiate slung the bag over her shoulder, starting towards the exit.

Just as she was reaching the door, a loud yell caught her attention, prompting her to look over her shoulder to see a young Nautolan sling a brownie at a the larger Nautolan standing near the landing pad.

"Now what's going on here..."

She grinned to herself, quickly making her way to hiding behind a stack of crates to watch the show.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
The massiveness of what had been being worked on for the jedi themselves, it provided a number of bigger and more impressive things. The library station was designed for the majority of jedi to e able to use while giving a more impressive feeling or it being around. More then that here on Voss it was able to relay new information as Matsu was heading down towards the planet in the ship to give some new information and reports about what they were making with it. Give the others a chance to fly around and see it for themselves as well as the construction efforts within that were making small relica's of the ancient temples themselves so that jedi lore and history would not be lost. THe small area's like the biocubes that simulated a small ocean world for instance or mountains and jungles. "Well there is certainly a new group here. She could sense zak and she had to welcome the newest member of the family after all.

Killnan's face lit up as he saw the group forming. Wow, didn't expect this.

"Sure, I would like to look around the place."

He lets out a childish giggle of excitement, as he continues looking around him, beaming. This entire place gave him a good feeling - a feeling about what was to come. And what was happening now. Which was that a brownie was being thrown at Zak.

The Nautolan Knight could sense the wonder and excitement from his companion.

"Oh, this is nothing. Wait until you meet..." the Nautolan began, only to trail off as his Force Sense - trained by years and years of food fights in the cafeteria - was suddenly buzzing. Raising up a hand, the head-tailed Jedi applied a faint featherpush to cushion the impact of the brownie arriving at his palm.

"Well, there he is now," Zak offered cryptically. Breaking off a piece of brownie, the Nautolan offered half over to Killnan. It was even still warm! "Snack?"

Popping the other half in his own mouth, as the two made their way along, the Nautolan never so much as broke his stride as he reached down and picked up a Nautolan youngling. In a single, smooth gesture, Zak had placed [member="Nyt Rito"] on top of his shoulders.

"This is Nyt. He's studying to be a Jedi," the Nautolan offered, before craning his head back so that he could look up at the child. "Nyt, say 'hi' to Killnan."

There was a Twi'lek nearby, and Master Ike was coming into the hangar. The place abuzz with activity, which was nothing new. "Master Ike," the knight offered in greeting. "This is Killnan. He's a Force Sensitive I discovered on Sanctuary."

Matsu stood there while she was looking at everyone there. A few different ones but she knew Zak when he spoke about the padawan he had discovered before she spoke seeing some fo the others. "Hmm you found a padawan?" Matsu walked over more with a small joke. "You know Zak just because we found you in the galaxy and took you in doesn't mean we should take in another." With a small grin though she was happy to see that he was working hard on so many of the things for themselves. Wanting to put some things that they would be able to do before seeing the padawan menace grow up. "Now come here, you are family and that means one thing. If you need anything tell me and we'll try and get it for you."

She stood by the window of her office, looking out over the lawns toward the landing pads and hangar and watched as ships landed and took off. The day was nice and she is kept up in the four walls pinned to her desk with a heavy weight of reports to get through. Coci needed to clear her mind, take a break and get out into the fresh air and so she left her office and made her way along the corridors until reaching the exit that would permit her to the lawns.

No Jedi robes today, a simple white shirt with cream trousers and brown boots. She preferred this in all honesty, much more comfortable then all the folds of the tradition robes. The only thing to give away her station in life, was her saber clipped to her brown leather belt. There was a soft aroma on the wind, springing forth from the gardens now in bloom and the orchard as well, laden with blosom and as the wind caressed them, they would loosen and dance before settling on the ground with soft grace.

She was not looking for solitude, but decided to make her way to the hangar, she sensed the presence of Jedi there she knows very well and a smile came to her lips recognising them. Zak .. a married man now and with a small charge under his wing in Nyt. Curiosity had her wonder how those two were getting on. Entering the large doors, ships sat whirring with engines warming or cooling, crew busy with attending to them, and over by a ship was Zak and Matsu and several new faces.

"Hello", she simply said on approached, and gave them all a little bow of the head.

Killnan smiles as he is handed half the brownie. It'd been a bit of time since he'd had one, and this was still warm. He graciously accepted, and took a bite. Listening to the others talk, he'd catch the woman's humorous tone.

"Hi!"

He looks at the smaller Nautolan, and subtly throws him a wave. So it looked like other kids were taught here. Nice, Killnan wouldn't be the only one. With a grin, he looked at the others who were gathered.

Matsu had a point, but Zak couldn't help but fear the damage was done. First Zak, then Nyt, now Killnan. Soon, the time of the Silver Guardians would be done and the Silver Menaces would rise to take their place!

The Nautolan bowed, first to Master Ike and then toward Master Heavenshield.

"...and this is Master Heavenshield," the boy offered, introducing Coci to Killnan. "She leads the Jedi Council."

He let that statement hang in the air for a bit.

"...that basically means, she tells all of us what to do."

Well, it did. Maybe that was over-simplifying things a bit, but Zak was a very simple person to begin with.
