DESCRIPTION
The House of Iron was a Sith-backed organization of "Merchant Lords" led by Darth Anathemous, with deep ties to The Dark Court and various dark side factions including raiders, cultists, and archeological projects. It was difficult to ascertain what business exactly the House of Iron conducted due to it's chaotic appearance, but beneath the surface it was an ever expanding network of black markets, money laundering and industrial services connected to many secret organizations and unofficially related companies across the galaxy in an effort to create a ceaselessly branching money trail impossible to trace. It controlled many benevolent manufacturers who believed they were lucky entrepreneurs with big investors, while unwittingly advancing the agenda of pirates, terrorists, and various dark side militants.

RATIONALE
Darth Anathemous founded the House of Iron in 902 ABY by bringing together once-influential merchants disparaged by the completion of the Sith Blackwall. When the Dark Council declared her world one of only two ports authorized to conduct trade with foreign powers outside the Blackwall, she was in a unique position to offer these merchants salvation, at a price. Governor Anathemous consolidated her influence into a "Merchant House" bound by credits and ruthless enforcement, a careful balancing act to ensure she remained their most profitable source of trade within and without while destroying The House's competitors from Echnos to Canto Bight.

All the while, her house served an agenda even they could not comprehend.
