It was early in the morning at the New Cov temple, a time when barely any souls were walking awake. Silas on the other hand was very much awake and ready for the day ahead. An hour ago, he had just finished some personal exercise and wondered down to the mess hall to grab some grub. No one but himself was in there and if he really wanted he could have made himself something, yet he chose to have what the chefs had brewed up for the early wakers.

He voluntarily chose to sometimes get up at this time because he felt it was the best time to revise and work on himself. Sometimes it would be the nightmares he still had now and then, but it was far less frequent than before. Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble along with Valery Noble Valery Noble were the people that drilled that into him. It wasn't just up to them to get him to his best, Silas also had to sacrifice a bit of his own time to get where he was. It very much worked, to say the least, he was just saddened Kahlil wasn't going to be there to see his progression.

Either way, wherever he was now he'd still be looking out for him.

Silas sat on one of the many empty benches and began to tuck into his soup, the same one he had when he visited a Jedi temple all that time ago. The taste was still awful, but it did wonders in giving him the right stuff to develop his body.

After her trip with Valery, Shai stuck around the temple for a few days as she refuelled and did some maintenance on her ship. The flight off-world had her feeling a bit concerned over a few of the systems, but luckily it wasn't too big an issue. It was more an excuse for her to stick around if Valery needed her.

It was also an opportunity for her to do something on her bucket list.

The Wardog emerged from the kitchen with a juicy burger and fries on a plate, a massive grin spread across hear features as she kept an eye on her meal. She didn't pay attention all that much to who else was in the mess hall, she merely walked over to the nearest open seat and set her meal on the table. Her armoured figure lowered and her helmet was set aside before she dug into her meal with a satisfied hum. It was only when she took a sip of soda that she noticed the boy sitting across from her.

She felt dreadfully sorry for him.

The bleak soup in his bowl looked as appetizing as water, and it looked like he thought the same. "Kid, that soup looks like the dark side incarnate, don't you got something better to eat?" She asked with a smirk, popping a few fries into her mouth. She sniffed a few times, grimacing as she pulled back slightly to escape the smell of his meal. "Nah, kid, help yourself." She offered as she turned her plate towards him. The big, juicy burger in all of its steaming glory was staring back at him, practically begging him to be eaten.

With his spoon in hand, he steadily dunked the metallic cutlery into the hot soup and sipped on it carefully. In the meantime, he didn't notice the newcomer come into the mess hall and help herself to some food. He kept to himself as she sat down and began eating her food, but soon enough her attention fell on him and his sorry looking soup.

"Unfortunately no, but if it helps me with my training I can't really complain..." the boy replied respectfully, his attention turned to her after he placed the spoon back into the soup. Gazing over, he couldn't help but stare straight at the heavenly looking burger in all its glory. All he wanted to do was get up and gobble it all down before an eagle eyed Valery Noble Valery Noble saw him. However, deep down he knew it would be going against his master and the trust she put in him to keep to the strict diet.

"I'm sorry miss, I'll keep to my soup for now," the said teen with a wave of his hand to indicate he wasn't interested. Decided to place another spoonful into his mouth, the curiosity of the padawan beginning to get the better of him "Who are you if you don't mind me asking?"

"Are you a representative of some kind?

Shai scoffed at his answer, shaking her head. "Kid, I spent two years gulping down beer and meat with some of the hardest kriffers in the galaxy with my training. Eating garbage soup definitely ain't gonna give you overnight gains." She quipped, realizing what was going on. She could see the temptation in his eyes.

Time to cross something else off the bucket list.

"Kid, whether you take this one or not, I'm gonna be getting up and making another one as soon as it's done. Come on, get something proper into your body, it's a hell of a lot healthier than that bathwater." She answered to his polite declining of her offer as she took another fry and pushed the plate towards him.

She took a sip of her soda as he asked her name. A grin formed as she looked at him. "Name's Shai Maji. Or 'Wardog' if that means anything to you. You can call me... a friend of sorts. Came to visit someone. Master Valery Noble? I came to visit her." She explained with a nod.

"Kark this, I'm gonna make another one. Eat that burger kid. I dunno who your master is, but if they got a problem with you eating proper food, just send 'em my way." The armoured Shistavanen got up and made her way back to the kitchen, completely forgetting to ask for his name. Luckily she felt guilty enough about it when she returned with another burger a good few minutes later.

This time, however, she didn't waste a second to take a massive bit out of it. "Completely forgot to ask. What's your name, kid?" She felt a whole lot better once the words left her mouth. "You haven't met a lot of Mandos before, have you?" She asked with a smug grin, helping herself to another bite.

"No offense, miss. If I've survived this long I'd say it's working pretty well" he said back calmly, shoving another spoonful of soup into his mouth in silent protest. She was actually quite wrong on the food help, after doing exercise it was perfect in helping his body develop. Although, the odd cheap meal was needed to keep the balance. It was tempting to take it off the Mandalorian, but at the same time, he hadn't earned such a treat.

"In all honesty, I'd love to. I just haven't earned such a thing to give me the satisfaction to eat it" he said truthfully, his eyes following the woman slide a chip into her mouth. The only thing that seemed to snap him out of his gaze was the mention she came for Valery Noble Valery Noble . Even though he didn't recognize her name, any friend of Valery's was a friend of his. Yet, her words seemed to amuse him slightly when she wanted to have a word with his master.

"Well, I'm happy you have come to visit my Master, Shai" he said to her when she had returned and asked his name "Silas Westgard, it's a pleasure to meet another friend of Valery's," he said with a slight bow of his head "And yes, you're right. I haven't seen another of your kind until today. From what I've researched you are fierce warriors with an unbreaking will to succeed, you are no pushovers by any means"

"No wonder Master Valery puts your people in such high regard"

Shai blinked as the boy introduced himself... and went on to admit that Valery was his master, of all people. The galaxy was an uncomfortably small place. Though it was a bit of a bummer that he didn't recognise her. She wasn't even aware that she cared as much about her reputation or name, but it quickly became apparent when she felt a bit of disappointment in her heart.

None of it came close to the look of amusement as he mentioned that he didn't deserve the burger. "Hold up... first off, that's gotta be the most dramatic description I've ever heard of me and mine... secondly, I think you should take it with a grain of salt when Valery kriffin' Noble is talking about healthy stuff. That girl was knocking bottles back like a fish on Kestri when she was with us!" A cackling laugh escaped her as she pulled a canteen from her belt. She took a long sip before she stowed it away, licking a suspicious red liquid from her lips and chops. "Besides, it's homemade! You can't get healthier than that. How'd you think I got where I am now?" She flexed her arms to prove her point, showing off her respectably built figure even through her armour. The more questions she could raise in the boy's mind, the more hilarious the call will be once it all gets back to Valery.

She really hoped this kid was wide open with his master.

"Your loss, kid." She quipped as she dragged the first burger back to herself, quickly polishing it as well. While it would never be able to sate her hunger anymore, she had to admit that it was a damn good burger. "Tell you what. How's about me and you square off. I can teach you a few tricks as well if you'd like. Hell, I'll even make you a bet." She scooted forward a little with a parsec-long grin along her features. "If you can knock me to the ground, I'll make you a lightsaber. How's that sound?" She extended her hand towards him with a smug look in her eye, waiting for his answer.

Silas slowly rolled his eyes as Shai spoke of her dramatic description. He was only being respectful, but maybe the furball thought differently of his comments. Although, Valery knocking back bottles of alcohol? that seemed very out of character from his Master who cared a lot about her fitness. If she did, it was probably to be in their good graces "Please, there was probably a reason why she was doing that"

Silas waved off another attempt by Shai to eat it. In the end, he was sticking to his gums "I know Shai, but in all honesty, I haven't deserved such a thing" he said back truthfully. The only way he was going to eat that burger was to earn it, but right now there was really no way of doing that. He slowly shook his head with an amused grin as she showed off her muscle. Were all of the Mandalorians always this cocky?

Silas took his eyes away from the burger she was scoffing down and refocused his efforts on finishing off the soup that was going cold. Silence seemed to fill the air for a few seconds until Shai said something rather unexpected, she wanted to challange him to a fight. The teen halted his attempts at finishing his food, looking curiously at the woman. His interest seemed to peak when she promised to give him a new lightsaber if he knocked her down.

"A new lightsaber? I know Mandolorians are masterful Smiths, but even I think that is something out of your line of work" he remarked, his eyes glaring down to the outstretched out. Shai had somewhat of an advantage over Silas, if it was a straight fist fight without the force she'd have the experience factor on her side, not to mention weight and height. The odds were against him, but Silas thought differently of it. Fighting more stronger was going to be a learning experience, no matter how battered and bloodied he got. Even if she was telling a lie about the lightsaber, the fight would still do him a world of good.

With no hesitation, he reached forwards and met Shai's hand, giving it a firm handshake of agreement
"As well as the lightsaber, you'll have to make me a burger worthy of winning" the young man smirked, even though it was going to be an uphill battle from here.

"Just don't take it easy on me alright?"

Shai raised an eyebrow at his comment on her skills. "You seen that snazzy curved saber your master got carrying around these days? That's all me, baby." She quipped, holding her hand out to him. To her delight, he agreed to her fight and even amped up the stakes.

However, it was his last question that earned him a maniacal grin as the Wardog took her helmet and rose from her seat. "I'm gonna be using live ammo on your ass, don't you worry about that." She muttered as she loomed over him.

Making her way out, Shai found the training grounds outside the temple in no time. A few other Jedi were there, mostly padawans and younglings doing their morning training. Shai placed her helmet on a nearby bench, along with her pistols, blades and something more curious. A lightsaber hilt, though it's presence made it clear that the previous owner was Sith.

She didn't have her jetpack on, but that wouldn't be a problem. "How long have you been in the order?" She asked as she started to circle him without any weapon in hand. There was certainly no harm in striking up a conversation. "You ever seen any front line action yet?" She continued, deciding to make the first move. Her whipcord shout out towards him, hoping to trap jim and his lightsaber before she tried to close the distance.

"You seen that snazzy curved saber your master got carrying around these days? That's all me, baby."
Silas raised his brows in surprise from the fact that she had built her master's lightsaber, one that was beautiful and different from anything else he had seen. If she was willing to make a saber of that quality for him, it would make a fine reward if he managed to take down a seasoned warrior like Shai. Although, the fact they were using live ammo was going to make things more hectic than it was.

"Live ammo? so be it" Silas couldn't show any weakness to his opponent, if she knew he was the slightest bit concerned she'd use that to play on his feelings. For now, she showed nothing but confidence as he followed the woman onto the training area. Rolling his shoulders casually, he smoothly took out his lightsaber and ignited it, allowing it to hang at his side while he prepared the fight to begin.

"I've been in the order for three years now, starting as an initiate from the age of thirteen" Silas replied as he began to circle Shai with a look of caution "I've seen a lot of the frontline since becoming a padawan. One battle being the battle of Tython..." the boy explained just before a whip came flying towards him. Being at the ready, he jumped to the right and shot right for the woman to close down the gap. Silas had never fought a Mandalorian before, which meant he'd have to learn their style as he went along.

Only a few feet away, he tried to use the force to his advantage by pulling her forwards to swing a multitude of strikes at her upper body to really test her reactions.

Shai quickly noticed the look on his face at the mention of his master's curved lightsaber. The carrot was officially dangling in front of his nose. Now it was only a matter of time to see what the young Jedi was capable of. She listened as he spoke, watching him as he ignited his lightsaber. Luckily he was quick to dodge her whipcord and close the distance. A menacing grin formed as she was yanked towards him, her whipcord reeling back into her vambrace as he swung at her.

As the first strike came in, her hand shot up with expert reflex and precision to grab hold of his blade. Immediately her right vambrace raised up and a bellowing whine cracked through the air as her repulsor went off at point blank, intent on sending him right back to his starting point. "Wait, your master really sends her paddies to the front lines? Ain't y'all a little soft for that?" She quipped with a smug grin as she lightly bobbed back and forth with her fists at the ready. Her left gauntlet was still glowing from the heat of his blade, though Shai didn't seem phased at all by the heat.

In actuality, it hurt a lot more compared to when she had her cybernetic arms.

"Tython was a nightmare, though. No two ways around that." She admitted with a more serious tone as she decided to close the distance this time. Armed with nothing but her fists, she used her vambraces to parry his attacks and launched a flurry of punches at him to test his defenses. "Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one that got something good out of it." She quipped with a light chuckle, deciding to take a risk. With her next quick jab, she attempted to push his blade up with her vambrace as she swept low with a kick to try and knock him over.

The Wardog quickly recovered and moved back, letting her arms hang as she circled him.

Silas's lightsaber flew at the woman's chest with speed but to his surprise, her gauntlet grabbed hold of his weapon. His eyes shot open from the sight, and before he could act he was thrown back to where he started by a point blank repulser. The padawan grunted as he landed on his back, before doing well to get back up fast with a kip up to send him right back to a standing position facing the warrior.

"If I was soft, I wouldn't be facing you right now would I?" he smirked to the ever talking Mandalorian, who was really trying to get into his head and force him into mistakes. The teen circled her once more, eyes resting on the glowing gauntlet that had held his saber without hassle. Due to it being resistant, he had to be more careful now. Shai seemed to have more tricks up her sleeve, it was just a matter of when she chose to use them.

"Tython was... a learning experience" considering he had almost died from fighting a sith lord, he had every right to say that. Watching her movements, Silas managed to dodge and weave away from her punches. He thought he was clear until a punch slammed into his midsection, folding him over and sending spit flying out of his mouth. Before he could get back, his feet was tripped from under him, forcing the boy to fall to the floor once again.

Breathing heavily, he jumped back up to his feet with an aching pain coming from his stomach. His eyes showed a burning desire to topple his opponent, he just hadn't figured it out yet
"I'm sorry... but even younglings punch harder than you!" he shot back as he ran forwards, bringing his saber back to slam it at her face. In the hopes she'd catch it again, he suddenly swung a fist into her jaw to give her a taster of his strength before kicking her roughly to the wall.

From there, he'd try to press the advantage by trying to thrust his lightsaber straight into her right arm. Smartly trying to pin her up against the wall.

A smug grin spread across the Wardog's features at his comment. "Don't mean you ain't soft, just means you want a burger and a fancy lightsaber." She fired right back at him. She moved at him again and managed to land a couple of solid hits on him, but the boy was very quick to recover. She had to admit that she was impressed.

Definitely her sister's padawan.

He cane at her again with his blade, drawing her left arm up to block it with her vambrace, but before she could throw another punch at him, his fist smashed into her jaw. A couple of teeth were sent flying from her mouth as she was kicked into the wall. It was all fun and games until his blade impaled her arm into the wall. A violent snarl escaped her as a murderous look filled her eyes.

Without skipping a beat, Shai tore her arm from the blade, uncaring of the further damage as it cut through the muscle and skin as she grabbed hold of it with her good hand and lurched forward to smash her forehead into his. She jumped up and raised her legs in a kick towards him, with the repulsors in her boots going off to make room between them.

As she eyed him for a moment, with blood dripping from her maw and her right arm hanging limp by her side, Silas would watch as new teeth grew from the bleeding gums and her arm stitched itself back together. In a few seconds, her wounds were healed and her blood evaporated into smoke, leaving a faint, new scar on her arm where his blade cut into her. Her grin returned as she took a deep breath and plucked her canteen from her belt, taking a long sip of the blood within. "Still confident you can take me down?" She quipped.

"I'll give you a freebie. Go for the spine." She continued as she set her canteen aside.

Once again she moved at him, but this time she moved with far more precision. Her fists were at the ready as she blocked and weaved with his attacks, carefully watching him.

Silas's strikes hit true, the first being a hard punch to the face. Teeth flew out of her mouth and onto the floor below, just before thrusting his lightsaber into her arm. She screamed out in agony, but to his surprise, she quickly pulled the lightsaber without any fear. The padawan was about to strike again, only for Shai's head to slam into his temple. His head snapped back, rocking him just before she sent him flying back first to the floor.

The teen's body slid across the ground, coming to a halt after a few seconds to leave him groaning momentarily. A small cut had appeared above his right eye, leaving a stream of blood to go down his face
"Heh... I see you didn't tell me about the regeneration" he grunted out with a pained grin, this time pulling himself up to his feet a bit more slowly. This was going to be so much harder than he originally thought, especially when they couldn't be hurt for long periods of time.

His eyes looked over to the canteen she drank from and raised his left brow from what he was seeing. He didn't know what was in that container, but it certainly wasn't any regular juice. Was that the thing that was powering her healing powers? probably, but Silas didn't have much time to figure that out.

"As confident as I ever will be, Shai. I won't be going down without a fight," he shot back, his determination unwavering against a far more dangerous opponent. Although, when he raised his lightsaber back up she seemed to give him a free weakness. He hated to admit but Shai couldn't be lying about that fact. If he somehow hit her back hard enough her body would shut down, the regenerative powers wouldn't be fast enough to heal her.

"You sure that was wise?" with that comment he suddenly rushed forwards, smoothly swinging his lightsaber at the Mando. This time she seemed more prepared, dodging and blocking many of his attacks. After a short time, Silas suddenly went low to slice a deep cut into her knee to temporarily cripple her. Then, with a rotation of his body he swung the lightsaber back towards her throat with a precise strike.

Shai's smug grin didn't falter for a moment as she bleeding padawan continued to talk big. He seemed even more confident with the bit of advice she gave him, immediately attacking with what felt like a lot more confidence and control in his movements. He had a target now. A weakness to exploit. It was already a lot more than anyone would get in a real fight... but she also didn't want Valery Noble Valery Noble coming down on her for beating her padawan into a pulp. "You're fighting like a Jedi." She commented as she ducked and dodged around his attacks, biding her time for the right moment.

When we swung low, she slid back to avoid the blade, her vambrace intercepting the blade to parry it while a hard backhand was thrown at him. The Wardog then went on the defensive, exploiting the strengths of her armour to its best as she countered his weapon, all for a vibroblade to erupt from her vambrace with another punch, intent on splitting his ribs and plunging into his lung. "Don't."

Pulling back, Shai held a hand up as a signal to pause. "Come here, lemme fix you up." She muttered with a bit more sincerity in her voice. If he was Mandalorian, he would have to suffer through it until his body crashed into the ground. But as a padawan, she simply couldn't work him that hard, despite her words. Especially not Valery's padawan. "Now... don't think about this. Don't think about what's happening. Just swallow... maybe close your eyes if you really wanna." She instructed as she removed a gauntlet along with its glove and rolled back her body glove a bit.

Without skipping a beat, Shai bit into her wrist and pressed the bleeding wound against his mouth. Within seconds, the wounds and pain would heal up perfectly, merely leaving faint scars behind. "I ain't gonna explain to my sister why I sent her paddie back to her in a coffin." She joked as she slid her gauntlet back on. "You're pretty good, I gotta say. Val's doin' a damn good job... but you ain't fighting Sith now. Not every fight will be against another lightsaber wielder who fights the same as you. If you wanna fight a Mando, an Imperial, whatever... you gotta fight different. Use everything." She explained as she took another sip of her canteen and set it aside.

"I always teach my foundlings that, if they can't defend themselves outside their armour, they don't deserve it. Just using your lightsaber won't win you every fight. You got your body, you got your powers... use them." She raised her fists again as she closed in.

"Isn't that who I am?" he grunted back to her, swinging with precise motions to try and match her speed. Just when he threw another swing at Shai, she unexpectedly went low and punched a vibro knife into his lungs. His eyes went wide from the sudden shock, legs unsteady and head woozy from how breathless he felt. The ribs that once protected the vital organ had been broken in two, leaving his lung to leak helplessly as Silas fell to one knee from Shai's motion to stop.

His breath quickened from the lack of air while blood poured from the wound. It was a mistake that could of cost him his life on the field, thankfully this was only a training session and Shai wasn't treating it like a proper Mandalorian brawl. Even though he could barely speak, he nodded reluctantly to what she was saying and glared at her biting into her hand. With blood flowing from her own wound, she pressed it against his own and seemingly healed the injury. Silas shot a relieved look to Shai and took a deep breath, gaining back that much needed air after the wound was healed.

"What was that..." he groaned, bringing himself to a standing position and examining the scar that was left on his side "You can heal with your own blood?" he knew of the force powers that could heal injuries such as this, but blood? it was simply unheard of.

Although, when she explained what he should do Silas listened a lot more respectfully to the warrior. She wasn't his master by any means, but he could probably learn a thing or two Valery Noble Valery Noble wouldn't teach him "What your saying is I should be the opposite of who I am?" he asked, a small nod indicating he knew what needed to be done. Before becoming a Jedi, he had to learn to fight the hard way through the gang's rough methods. It taught them to use whatever was necessary to dismantle their opponent, nothing was off limits.

"Fine... let's do this"

Taking a few steps back, he unexpectedly turned off his lightsaber and raised his fists up to ready himself into something he had not shown since those dark days. Without a word, the padawan swiftly charged her with immense speed and newfound determination burning through his eyes. The gloves were off now.

Extending his hands out he sent a powerful force push to send her flying into the wall back first. With a loud grunt, he didn't let her recover, instead firing a barrage of strikes to her face and midsection. Just to show he wasn't messing around anymore he delivered an almighty stomp onto her foot, keeping it there to try and keep her grounded while he continued to pelt her with punch after punch.

Silas was understandably shaken up by her actions. Shai merely flashed a wink as she watched him. "I'm Sangnir. Can thank my hubby for that one. Saved your master's life too when she was training with us." She quipped with a smirk. A smirk that quickly disappeared when he took her advice a bit too literally.

"What? No that ain't what I'm- ah kriff..." She didn't get any chance to speak further as he came at her like a street brawler. His push sent her into the wall behind her and the first strike against her face dazed her for a second. More than enough time for him to pepper her with powerful strikes. Shai tried her best to defend but it was a waste. Instead, she gave a perfect example of what kept Mandalorians alive through centuries of wars against Sith and Jedi. Her vambrace's repulsor went off again and she was quick to return the strikes. "I'm sayin' you should use everything you got! You got a lightsaber, you got the Force, you can do things no normal person can. That's what's gonna win you a fight against people like me." She spoke over her strikes.

But in her moment of retaliation, Silas got his chance. A misstep and a loud squeak as the sole of her boot slid along the floor, costing her only a split second of lacking defense.

More than enough for him to exploit if he was quick enough...

Silas pressed into Shai and swung strike after strike into her face and body, many hitting nicely as he began to have her on the ropes. However, the sneaky Mandolorian used her skills well to drive him backward. Silas slid back and was met by Shai's own strikes, some of which he was able to dodge and block. Although, some nasty strikes soon landed on his face and body, forcing him to cough and wheeze as more cuts and bruises appeared over his face.

Even from the hits, the padawan was still able to keep on his feet. His head felt foggy from the constant blows, but he was keeping strong in the face of a more powerful foe. As she moved forwards again, he saw her foot slip on the floor and open her body up for a few brief moments. Seeing his moment arise, Silas suddenly ignited his saber and fell to one knee, slashing the hot lazer just above her kneecaps to hopefully cripple her to the floor "Because I've been waiting for moments like this!" he grunted through bloody teeth.

Standing above her, he used the force to suddenly throw her back first into the roof above them before letting her drop face first to the floor below. Without hesitation, he then swiftly aimed his saber downwards to drive it directly into her spine to make use of the tip she told him. If there was a moment to get Shai, it was now.

Shai immediately knew what was coming and she was too slow to counter in the moment. The blazing hot blade cut across her legs, forcing her to the ground. Before she could strike out at him, the blade pierced through her back and dropped her flat on her stomach. Her eyes went wide and a pained cry escaped her maw as she went limp on the ground for a moment.

"Holy kriff that thing hurts like hell!" She barked as she tried to roll over to face him. Her legs limply followed along as she waited for her body to do its thing. "Good karkin' timing, though." She admitted as she felt the hole through her body. After a few moments, Shai's legs began to wiggle and life soon returned to them. The Wardog stood up and fetched her canteen for a long drink of the unsettling beverage.

After a moment of silence and calming her nerves, Shai made her way over to the boy and held a hand out to shake. "Well karkin' done, though. You're good. Can definitely see Val's form in there." She spoke with a smile as she drove a hand through his hair to mess it up. "Well then, a deal's a deal, huh?!" She quipped as she took her effects and led the way back to the temple.

The looks they received from some other Jedi were priceless.

"I could walk around in armour all day, just to get reactions like these." She quipped with a snicker as she looked behind them. Once they reached the kitchen, Shai set her things aside and began her work on some burgers for the two of them. "I mean it, though. You fight good. If you wanna practice some more or something, feel free to hit me up." She broke the silence with some small talk as she prepared their meals.

In a flash, Silas took his moment and managed to perform it spotlessly. When his saber came down into her spine, he felt a wave of achievement fall over him as he fell back into a sitting position. His body ached terribly and his face was bruised and cut from the constant strikes they had with one another, he was just thankful Shai wasn't using her full strength "You'll be fine..." he said through gritted teeth as he extended a hand and got up to his feet at the same time "Your regenerative abilities are incredible" Silas remarked admirably, confident that having Shai on their side was probably the best thing possible.

Looking at her taking another gulp of her canteen, he seemed to get an idea that whatever she was drinking seemed to help her heal up way faster than the average person. Offering his hand again, Silas looked a bit unsteady on his feet but caught himself when he took her hand "Thank you... I won't forget this fight by any means" the teen said respectfully with a bow just before she ruffled his already messy hair. He could see why Valery probably put her up in high regard, if she really wanted to Shai probably could have killed him in a matter of minutes if she really tried.

"A deals a deal..." he smiled painfully before staggering through the temple alongside her. As they walked along, many of the Jedi seemed to stare at their rough condition. Silas couldn't help but chuckle from their faces, some of which were shocked "Have they not seen a hard day's spar before?" the padawan whispered with a giggle as they went into the kitchen to receive his much needed burger.

While she prepared their meals, she gave him more praise for his fight and offered another further down the line. To Silas, it was an offer he couldn't refuse "It would be an honor Shai" he grinned, slowly walking over to the fridge to pull out a frozen bag of peas to place against his face "Master Valery wouldn't even dream of doing fights like these with me. It's good now and then to see the rough side of it" it was true, without such experience he'd never go above and beyond.

"Let me know when the lightsaber is finished, I may have use for it soon," Silas said as he leaned against the counter, his tired body beginning to loosen up a bit.

Shai waved his commentary off as she worked on their meals. "Honour's got nothing to do with it, I just wanna help people survive. The Maw ain't that scary but they can get crafty. The Empire, though... you should be afraid of them. You should be ready for them." She spoke with a voice that turned increasingly serious the longer she spoke.

At the mention of the lightsaber, however, she cackled away for a moment. "Well then! Little squib wins a fight and now he's the big dog, huh?!" She teased him with a toothy grin. "Don't worry, I'll let you know. If you got a design in your mind or something specific, just lemme know. I'll work it in." The fries were deposited onto their plates and the patties were secured beneath the top half of the buns. With everything sorted, Shai set their meals down on the counter and took a bite of her fries.

"Master Valery is right, though. Jedi shouldn't be doing this kind of training, you ain't a soldier. You shouldn't even be in a warzone. But this war ain't caring about who is a soldier or not. That's why I wanna help you and anyone else to be ready. Trust me when I tell you..." Her crimson eyes locked onto his gaze with an empty void behind them. "War is as close to literal hell as you will ever encounter." She muttered as she took another bite of her fries.

She leaned back and finally sank her teeth into the juicy burger with a hum of delight. "Karkin' hell that's good. Hey, by the way... why is a lightsaber such a big deal for y'all? I get its like a badge for you guys and it's super handy, but every Jedi I've met is super critical about their lightsaber and who touches it." She asked with a curious look, moving away from the mood killer of a topic.
