- Call for Help: The Horn of Tython has been imbued with "The ability to summon help from the furthest reaches," capable of alerting any and all Force Sensitives within range of the need for aid.
- Sound the Horn: The Horn, when blown, emits a signal through the Force, alerting any Force Sensitives within 20 parsecs of the exact location of the wielder, and making them aware of the wielder's need of aid.
- Indiscriminate: The Horn alerts all Force Sensitives of the need for aid, be they friend or foe, as well as the location of the wielder.
- Void: The Horn will not work in the effects of a Force Null, nor will those within a Force Null be aware of its sounding.
Long ago, in the time of war, the Jedi crafted a relic with which the greatest of their explorers might call for aid, offering protection from the devious Sith. With but a sounding of the Horn of Tython, all those loyal to the cause would be drawn to it. The Horn served its master well, saving them from trial after trial. But then the Sith returned, and brought with them an era of war and destruction. Too late did the Horn's bearer discover its ability to draw evil with the good, and so he was slain on the battlefield when the Horn became his undoing. The relic was kept in the archives of the Sith, for a time, until it was stolen away by a young Lord who sought its power for himself. It was lost to him in his escape, and was not rediscovered for several millennia. Now, it serves as a relic of the Knights Obsidian, waiting patiently for a new master to put it to use...
