APPEARANCE: Ko is a Chiss, and like his people he has ble skin and red eyes. He has a rather prominent forehead and short, spiky hair. At 6'1",he is reasonably tall, although he is pretty skinny. He usually wears a black combat vest with no Chiss insignia.
BIOGRAPHY:
Ko was born into the slave caste of Chiss society. Even at a young age he worked for his superiors in order to fulfill his role. He had a fascination for starships and freighters in particular, and always dreamed of being a pilot. However, due to his caste, this was almost impossible. Fate smiled upon him, however. His superior needed one of the slave caste to join him on a flight to the inner galaxy for supplies. The trip started well, but the when the two emerged from hyperspace they were greeted by pirates, who boarded the ship. Ko hid under the floor in a secret compartment, but his superior was not as quick witted and was captured by the pirates. They took all existing supplies on the ship, but left the ship itself due tonits low quality. Once the pirates left, Ko emerged and turned the ship around, heading back for home. Once he got there, he discovered the pirates had his superior for ransom. According to local tradition, he would have to work to pay off the ransom. He borrowed the necessary money and paid the ransom, but wound up deep in debt. Taking the ship, which je rechristened the "Pingu", he turned to smuggling to pay off his debts.
